Sledování pesticidních látek ve zdroji úpravny vody Hrdibořice a možnost jejich odstranění / Monitoring of pesticides in source of water treatment Hrdibořice and possibility of their removal

Bouchalová, Zuzana January 2017 (has links)
The thesis discusses possible ways to reduce or completely eliminate pesticide compounds from drinking water that are produced at a water treatment plant Hrdibořice. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part lists kinds of pesticides that occur in water, how they are reduced or eliminated. Furthermore, this section describes the existing water treatment technologies at the Central Committee Hrdibořice, including water sources. In the practical part, pilot tests on two types of filters models with filtering bed of granular activated carbon (hereinafter GAU) were carried out. On the basis of information obtained from the literature and on findings from the pilot tests, designs of technological equipment for pesticide removal from drinking water at water treatment Hrdiborice were carried out. Next, cost estimates for the proposed variant solutions including operating costs were suggested.

Analýza algoritmů booleovských operací nad obecnými polygony / Analysis of General Polygon Boolean Operation Algorithms

Daněk, Tomáš January 2008 (has links)
This thesis deals with general polygon boolean operation algorithms. Boolean operations are e.g. intersection, union or difference. A general polygon can be e.g. a selfinterecting polygon with inner hole. Clipping of polygons against a rectangular window is probably the most familiar boolean operation on polygons. At first, basic definitions are listed. Then the principles of a selected set of boolean operation algorithms are reviewed. Finally, a complex comparison of the algorithms is undertaken. Performance as well as the ability to handle degenerate cases are tested. The output of this thesis is an overall evaluation of algorithm properties and a dynamic library that contains the implementation of all of the tested algorithms.

Magnetické biokompozitní materiály pro odstranění významných xenobiotik z vodních systémů / Magnetic biocomposite materials for removal of significant xenobiotics from water systems

BALDÍKOVÁ, Eva January 2017 (has links)
The theoretical part of this doctoral thesis provides a comprehensive overview on the topic of preparation and subsequent utilization of magnetic derivatives of biological materials for xenobiotic separation from water. Main attention is paid to magnetic modification of waste materials and by-products originating from agricultural and food industry, which represent widely available and low-cost materials, and also to magnetic modification of microbial cells. In addition to the description of magnetic particle preparation and individual developed techniques of magnetic modification, a brief characterization of selected pollutants and a detailed table overview on utilization of magnetically responsive biomaterials for biosorption of organic dyes, heavy metals, pharmaceutical and personal care products together with ubiquitous industrial endocrine disruptors and also of crude oil derivatives is presented. Experimental part of this thesis is focused on the preparation and optimization of new types of magnetic materials. Emphasis is placed on the employment of simple, fast and simultaneously low-cost magnetic modification techniques (e.g., postmagnetization using microwave-synthesized magnetic iron oxides or one-step modification by magnetic fluids). Selected plant materials (barley and rye straw) were chemically modified to significantly (up to five-times) increase the maximum adsorption capacities for tested dyes. All prepared biomaterials exhibited a great magnetic response and simultaneously relatively high adsorption capacity for selected xenobiotics under experimental conditions used. Factors substantially affecting adsorption process, such as pH, initial concentration, incubation time or temperature were also studied. Adsorption equilibrium data were assessed using Langmuir, Freundlich or Sips isotherm models. Experimental data from time dependence study were analyzed by chosen kinetic models, namely the pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order ones and by intraparticle diffusion model. Thermodynamic parameters (Gibbs free energy, enthalpy and entropy) describing the nature of adsorption were also included in study.

Odstranění stimulačních hrotů ze signálu elektrokardiografu / Removal of pacing spikes from the electrocardiographic signal

Smíšek, Radovan January 2015 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to detect pacing pulses in ultra high-frequency ECG so as to remove these pacing pulses. It makes evaluation of higher frequency components of QRS complex possible. This evaluation is impossible while pacing pulses are present. Chosen issue is solved using heuristic algorithm. Algorithm uses spacing of signal by line in the area which is not influenced by pacing pulses. Subsequently this line is made longer and using differences between line and signal (or another rules) edges of pacing pulses are detected. The top of the stimulation tip is detected by thresholding envelope of original signal´s first difference. More algorithms are tested in this thesis. Several methods of removing pacing pulses are suggested in thesis. Envelopes of high-frequency components are created. Envelopes are analyzed subsequently and suggested methods of removing pacing pulses are compared on the basis of these analysis. Finally the detection efficiency is evaluated.

Pooperační projevy po resekci vestibulárního schwannomu a jejich dopad na kvalitu života / Postoperative symptoms after vestibular schwannoma surgery and their impact on quality of life

Koutná, Sára January 2019 (has links)
Vestibular schwannoma is one of the most common tumors found in a cerebellopontine angle. Despite tumor's benignity, there are many cases that are indicated for a surgical resection. Frequently postoperative symptoms described by patients and also by literature are hearing loss, vertigo, tinnitus and weakness or numbness of face. Our work wants to show also other factors which can be damaging for patient life. We talk about postoperative headache and anxiety or depression disorders. The aim of the study will be describe these symptoms, try to find the corelations between them and determine the impact on quality of life. In our survey, patients one year after vestibular schwannoma resection recieve convenient questionnaires to fill. The questionnaires will be focused on headache disability, anxiety and depression, vestibular dysfunction and perception of quality of life.

Optimalizace procesu tepelného zpracování LKG legovaných niklem / Heat treatment processes optimalization of ADI with graded Ni content

Klimentová, Jiřina January 2010 (has links)
This work is focused on segregation processes in the matrix of spheroidal graphite cast iron with different silicon and nickel content during heat treatment. The aim of this work is to trace the redistribution of the elements of interest during homogenization annealing with different dwell time by comparison of the effective distribution coefficients. Comparison of some specific properties and description of structure development of spheroidal graphite cast iron matrix from initial state to the state after ferritization and homogenization annealing is included in this work.

Využití homogenizačního žíhání k potlačení segregace křemíku a niklu v LKG / Application of Homogenization Annealing to Suppress Silicon and Nickel Segregation in Ductile Iron

Pavloušková, Zina January 2010 (has links)
This doctoral thesis deals with the comparison of different methods of alloying elements’ concentration measurement based on energy dispersive spectroscopy and also with the suitability of particular methods of quantitative assessment of heterogeneity of the spheroidal graphite cast iron matrix. The segregation curves construction, distribution coefficient and heterogeneity index formulation is also discussed. The notion “normalized distribution coefficient” is introduced newly. The goal of the thesis, which is to be achieved by means of evaluation of large experimental data sets, is the evaluation of applicability of homogenization annealing of spheroidal graphite cast iron with the aim to eliminate segregation of silicon, and mainly nickel, as pearlite- and carbide-forming agent at the border of an eutectic cell. The result is an optimized homogenization annealing schedule maximizing the suppression of silicon and nickel segregation while taking into account the minimization of financial expenses and risk of grain coarsening.

Opční protokol k Úmluvě o odstranění všech forem diskriminace žen / Option Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women

Šmejkalová, Eleanor January 2015 (has links)
RESUMÉ IN ENGLISH ENGLISH TITLE OF THE THESIS: OPTIONAL PROTOCOL TO THE CONVENTION ON ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN The thesis is concerned with the Optional Protocol to the Convention on Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (adopted in 1999 and entered into force on December 22nd, 2000). This international treaty offers women two significant mechanisms to protect their rights - the possibility to submit an individual communication to the Committee on Elimination of Discrimination against Women against a State Party to both the Convention and the Protocol and the competence of the Committee to carry out investigations into grave and systematic violations of rights set out in the Convention. The first chapter focuses on the context of and reasons for the adoption of the Protocol. Firstly, the CEDAW, its origins and implementation mechanisms are introduced. The need for an optional protocol clearly arose from the insufficiency of the protection mechanisms enshrined in CEDAW itself in the quest of protection of women in their everyday encounters with discrimination. The chapter describes the new implementation mechanisms introduced by the Protocol. Furthermore, the second and third chapters compare the protection mechanisms laid down in the Protocol and similar...
