The object of work was experimental prove of term-impact of taking cuttings for reproduction with woody cuttings by selected cultivars and determinating the most appropriate term for cutting offtake. The experiment was established in the company Pasič LTD. in Dolní Životice on the 9th of January 2015 and ended on the 27th of August 2015. For the experiment were chosen difficult rooted cultivars of conifers: Picea abies 'Nidiformis', Picea glauca 'Conica', Taxus baccata 'Fastigiata Aurea', Taxus baccata 'Repandens', Taxus baccata 'Overeynderi' a Taxus×media 'Hicksii'. There were set three terms for cuttings offtake: January, February and March. In every term were cutted 560 pieces cuttings from one cultivar with using stimulator for better rooting. On the basis of performed experiments can be recommended these months as the most appropriate reproduction term from experimental variation: Februar for cultivar 'Conica', 'Fastigiata Aurea', 'Overeynderi' and March for 'Nidiformis', 'Repandens' a 'Hicksii'.

Trávy v zahradní a krajinářské architektuřePřibylová, Eliška January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this monograph was to prepare the text portion of the topic ornamental grasses, outline their origins, to deal with the selected properties of grasses, whether environmental, horticultural or compositional. Furthermore, the search for information concerning reproduction, significance and possible recommendations on the use of grasses. Drafted was both a literary review, and the results of the discussions that are new valuable for practical application. At selected model areas were conducted annual observations in the 14-day interval in 100 selected taxa of ornamental grasses in order to evaluate the properties of selected grasses on which there has been redefined and graphic arts habitual types. Results and discussion therefore engaged a total of five subchapters. The first is the phenology ornamental grasses, as well as evaluation of selected properties of grasses, habitual types of ornamental grasses, compositionally interesting combination of ornamental grasses with other horticultural plant groups and recommendations for the use of ornamental grasses in practice. The author has created a work based on the annual observation of ornamental grasses valuable material, which in this way has not yet been processed. Growth and development phases are highly traceable, based on photographs taken on their own, which is part of taxa cards. Využití mykorhizních hub ve školkařské produkci okrasných dřevinLinhartová, Anna January 2016 (has links)
This thesis discusses the use of mycorrhizal fungi in nursery production. In the literature review there is summarized current knowledge regarding mycorrhiza and nursery production of ornamental plants. As a model plant for the experiment was used Spiraea bumalda "Anthony Waterer" and the experiment was conducted in the grounds of The Department of Breeding and Propagation in Lednice. There was applied mycorrhizal product Symbivit when planting in batch 6 g, 3 g, 1,5 g and 0 g. The plants were evaluated by parameters as plant height, diameter of root collar, the number of shoots. Then there were evaluated mycorrhizal colonization and volumes of roots balls in the laboratory. The experiment was described and evaluated statistically. The experiment resulted in the fact, that the more mycorrhizal product Symbivit is applied, the greater was the colonization. The mycorrhizal product had a positive effect on plant growth. The plants treated with product Symbivit in batch greater than 3 g proved a statistically significant difference in the monitored parameters compared to the control. There is also a economic viewpoint, the price of plants increases after the application of mycorrhizal product Simbivit.

Perspektivní hnojiva pro produkci okrasných dřevin v kontejnerechPlchová, Andrea January 2012 (has links)
The task of this work was to evaluate the prospective use of fertilizers in containerproduction and their impact on ornamental trees. The experiment was established in April 2011 on the land department the Faculty of Horticulture in Lednice in one growing season. It was used five variants of substrates. For variant I was used peat-bark substrate (RKS II), which was regularly fertilizing with Kristalon fertilizer. For variant II was used substrate RS II with Osmocote. For the other three variants was used substrate RS II with low content (var. III), medium content (var. IV) and high content of organic fertilizers (var. V). Experimental plant was Philadelphus x hybr. 'Mont Blanc'. During the growing season was measured the plant height, at the end of the vegetation was measured strength of the root neck, root volume and number of stems. The variant II with Osmocote achieved the best results, the control variant I reached the second best results. The variants III, IV and V with organic fertilizers fell the worst, the variant III with low content of organic fertilizers fell the worst of all.

Minující hmyz na dřevinách ve vybraných parcích v Brně a okolíFlajzarová, Andrea January 2019 (has links)
In the three parks in Brno and its surroundings (arboretum of the Mendel university in Brno, the arboretum Křtiny and the forest park Kalvárie in Bučovice) the diversity of mining butterflies on ornamental trees was monitored in 2017 – 2018. The aim of the final thesis was to find out the spectrum of the mining butterflies, to determine a differences in species composition of the mining butterflies on the individual study areas and measure the degree of attack in host trees. A total of 47 species of mining butterflies were found. The most species were found in the arboretum of the Mendel university (31 species), the arboretum Křtiny (19 species) and at least species were found in the forest park Kalvárie (15 species). The most species who were found belong to the family of Gracillariidae (21 species) and Nepticulidae (20 species), the less species was from the family Tischeridae (2 species), Yponomeutidae (1 species) and Coleophoridae (1 species). The most abundant were the species of lithocolletinae, especially Cameraria ohridella on Aesculus hippocastanum, Phyllonorycter platani on Platanus acerifolia and Phyllonorycter issikii on genus Tilia. Against these species should be targeted a possible protection of host trees. The most species of mining butterflies were found on the wooden plant: Quercus robur, Fagus sylvatica, Quercus faginea, Quercus pubescens, Carpinus betulus a Ulmus glabra.
