Regional differentiation of gender patterns Abstract It is common nowadays to view the problem of gender from all angles, but until now it has not been considered from a regional point of view. This dissertation focuses on the regional differentiation of gender patterns. The object of this dissertation is to show the biggest diferences between men and women from a regional standpoint by the use of selected indicators. This entails considering the selected gender patterns in distinct districts. As a suitable data basis for this survey results from the last two censuses were chosen, the criterion being permanent residence in an area. The dissertation focused on study of patterns of gender characteristics and their changes between the last two censuses, which took place in the Czech Republic, SLDB 2001 and SLDB 2011. In the first part the indicators are presented for the whole of the Czech Republic. Then follows an analysis of changes in the levels of the chosen patterns between individual censuses and then their structural transformation. Then the dissertation looks at the regional view in more detail. The last part focuses on the creation of district typology in the Czech Republic according to the most important patterns. The thesis is focused on the analysis of the railway transport within the selected region and it is divided to two parts -- theoretical and analytical. In its theoretical part the thesis deals with issues of the segment of transport within its economic dimension and with the impact of the railway transport on the regional economy. The analytical part is focused on the analysis of the impact of the railway transport on the selected Kroměříž region. The main aim of this thesis is to find out direct economic influence of the railway transport on the Kroměříž region. To reach this aim the method of selected data evaluation is used. The group of these data contains regional railway infrastructure characteristics, personal transport data, goods transport data, employment and investments.

The structure of the population of Most district: history, present and possible future development options Abstract The objective of this study is to evaluate the historical, current and possible future development of the structure of the population, which live in the analyzed district of Most. Within the district are compared the structures of the population by sex, age, marital status, educational attainment, nationality, religion and economy activity in each selected years. In the first part, the history of settlement of the current district is briefly explained. Development of the settlement in the 20th century and development of the structures of population follows. In the next part, the current structures of the population and possible options for future development of the population of the district are given. Differences of the structures of the population structure during the existence of life in the district are evaluated in the conclusion part. This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the disparities between the districts belonging to the Liberec Region between the years 2004 and 2014. Interregional differentiation is being evaluated through several indicators describing disparities at the level of social, economical and environmental development of the regions. At first, the thesis describes the issues of regional disparities along with their possible solutions. The following part deals with the characteristic of the Liberec Region. In the practical part the evaluation concering the method of time series analysis and method of traffic lights is used. In the conclusion, the sectional integrated indicator of quality of life is created by the point method. This indicator creates a comprehensive view of the regions. The final ranking regarding the quality of life in the regions, which is followed by the measures directed at the alleviation of the regional disparities, is designed to the regions through the integrated indicator.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of unemployment in the district of Kolin between the years 2004 and 2014, and to determine the reasons for failure of employee recruitment organized by the Labor Office of the Czech Republic in Kolin and propose solutions that could lead to a reduction in unemployment in this district.

This diploma thesis deals with unemployment in Písek district in 2004 - 2014. The analysis of unemployment is divided into individual categories - age, sex, education, and others. At the same time, analyzes of selected categories of job seekers in the Czech Republic and South Region. Based on the individual analysis is the comparison of the unemployment situation in the various categories. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the instruments of active employment policies that enhance employability of job seekers in the labor market. In conclusion, the thesis are proposed recommendations that could streamline processes within the Labour Office.

Economy of the Czech Republic belongs to successful recipients of foreign direct investments, which bring various positive effects. Most important is job creation by foreign investors and their local subcontractors. Other effects are increase of labor productivity, new technologies and management know-how. Masters thesis describes the issue of foreign direct investments, their effect on unemployment focusing on Louny district.

Total evaluation of the outcomes of this diploma work is alarming. The gained outcomes have showed an increase incidence of psychiatric pathology. Although nurses cannot substitute doctors in diagnostics, they need to be educated in etiology. Considering that nurses are in close contact with diseased, their greatest goal is to prevent the mood and behavioral defects. Out of searching for endangered and diseased, nurses must permanently function on the health education and to participate on psychiatric rehabilitation. Their goal is to motivate the diseased to treatment, explain the doctor{\crq}s recommendations and actively and initiatively gain the patients for exercitation of healthy life. Seniors need to hear affable words, they need understanding and help to solve their behavior and mood changes. Nurses can be a big help when solving these changes, because seniors trust nurses, open their hearts to nurses and tell them what bothers them and what they cannot handle anymore. Nurses must heal the body and the soul as well. I think that this way we can lower the risk of complications and conflicts and to make the life for the affected seniors better and easier. The gained results could be possibly used to increase the quality of service in other social sectors and healthcare associations.

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the factors that influences women's return to labor market after maternity leave in Prachatice district between years 2008 and 2015. Based on the teoretical resources there are created questions of semi-structured interview which is conducted with sixteen women from Prachatice district with children at age from 0 to 7 years. The part of the thesis is also analysis of labor market in the district in mentioned time period using the data relates to the employment and unemployment of women. Based on the results, the hypotesis is verified:"Women in Prachatice district deemed the return to the labor market after maternity leave as complicated and local labor market does not fit to their requirements." Women find job offers for mother with children as deficient, shows heavily dependence on help from extended family, in district is low supply of care facilities for younger children, operating time of kindergartens doesn't correspond to the needs of working mothers. The study includes recommendations for Prachatice district suggested by author which are added-value to the thesis. There is no study dealing with the situation of women in labor market yet, the results might be a stimulus for further researches.

This thesis describe the current situation of winegrowing in the territory of Znojmo, while also describe the evolution and assess the significance of the influence on the development of winemaking district - Znojmo, factors contributing to the regional development of winegrowing, forms of support for this sector, description of the problems in the winegrowing and what are the possibilities for further development of the region in connection with winegrowing. The theoretical part contains only shortly the basic theory of regional development, the thesis continues with a brief description Znojmo district, geographical and economic-social conditions of the territory, then briefly the evolution of winegrowing in the Czech Republic and in detail the evolution of winegrowing in the district of Znojmo. Furthermore author focused on legal aspects of winegrowing in the Czech Republic and the specific conditions of aid after the entry into the EU. Analytical part is focused on the questionnaire survey among inhabitants in the district of Znojmo and the elaboration of SWOT analysis. On the basis of it is then determined the rate of significance for the winegrowing district Znojmo and determined influential factors of development and indicated further opportunities for the development of the region in connection with winegrowing.
