Návrh zhášení zahořelého paliva v mlýnském okruhu kotle na Teplárně Karviná / The equipment for extinguish the blazing coal at Heatplant Karvina

This master´s thesis solves the coal dust autoignition problems in the heatplant Karviná. The first part is devoted to the combustion of pulverized coal possibilities and technical description at the heatplant Karviná equipment. The second part deals with the phenomenon of the coal self-ignition itself. In the last part the calculation of the mill circuit heat balance is solved as well as it´s inerting protection. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the coal powder reservoir, where the fuel blaze is the most common.

My dissertation thesis The interface between city and the landscape, centers on an area of the locally prominent rock Marianska skala in the city Usti nad Labem. The final design is a form of urbanistic-architectural study. The design methodology is based on city analysis and public research as mental mapping. The subject area has strong potential and natural values, however at present there is a minimal usage of this area by the local residents. The project therefore aims to integrate the area into a functional city system, with the rock becoming a key post of the connection between city center and the surrounding landscape. By addressing the challenges of integrating the city into the fabric of the surrounding landscape, the project explores the limits and possibilities of permeability. The thesis introduces aspects of the historical interface between city and the landscape, and this is the main principle the thesis is based on. New functions and elements as a forest park, as well as a sport and recreation area, are designed to revive the site and surrounding area. Designed for residents and tourists alike, creating a new dialogue between users, the historical landscape, and modern concepts of sport, tourism and ecology. Emphasis is put on the natural values and their protection. The design of the individual parts combine to promote and celebrate the rock Marianska skala as an important orientation point and vertically dominant feature of the city structure.

RESUMÉ CONTINUING ETHNIC PROCESSES OF THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES OF THE RUSSIAN NORTH Legislation has an appreciable effect on the lives of the indigenous peoples and is becoming one of the fundamental components of their adaptation. Many of the innovative elements are realized on the basis of this legislation. The life strategies of the indigenous peoples in Yamalo- Nenets avtonomniy okrug is practically the same as the life strategies of the majority population. A notable exception are reindeer herders, but even amongst their children, we see a shift to the strategies of the majority society. These modes of adaptation have both ethnic and non-ethnic characters. Of those that are based on an ethnic basis, we can distinguish them by whether they are based on historical development or on legislative privilege. The privileges of a legislative base can be divided into individual (e.g. quota for free fishing) and collective rights (e.g. economic activity by communities). Both categories are actively used. Authorities of avtonomniy okrug actively encourage and support them using their rights. An increasing number of indigenous peoples are showing non-ethnic ways of adaptation, such as the non-ethnic elements used by the surrounding majority society. The master´s thesis is focused on the design and implementation of the laboratory stand for studying lubrication of gears. Specifically, to assess the effect of lubricant contamination on gears. The device uses the Niemann closed circuit concept which in practice is called „back to back“. Firstly, in the theoretical part, the test circuits uses for testing gears are described and one of the standardized procedure for experimentation is presented. Based on research studies, basic parameters for the design and creation of conceptuals are determined. The practical part consists not only the design of this stend, but also including test run and the description of the procedure on that device. The result of this master´s thesis is the functional experimental device for the future development of intelligent lubrication systems.

The subject of this diploma thesis is to apply the knowledge of thermodynamics when designing parameters of the train air conditioning unit. In the first part, the issue of air conditioning technology, basic types of cooling circuits and description of individual components are outlined. Furthermore, there is an overview of groups of refrigerants and their labelling. In the second part, a calculation of the heat load of the train unit for the limit design conditions of summer and winter operation, including the application of humid air theory are to be found. There is a basic procedure for designing the main components of compressor cooling, which is almost exclusively used in train applications, outlined. The last part contains the procedure for calculating the gains/losses in the distribution channels of the real air conditioning unit M7 and the evaluation of the results. In the appendix, there is an SW in MS Excel program, which can be indicatively used to calculate the total gains/losses of the distribution channels on any air-conditioning unit before the air enters into the train unit.

This thesis deals with the problems of wounding of low potential transferred from steam turbine condenser. First, in the theoretical part variations of steam condenser design are described. Then there is a description of variations of cooling cycles and possibilities of their operation range. In second part of the thesis there are two common cooler options chosen. Those are wet cooling tower with natural draft and dry chiller with forced draft. Two types of cooling liquid are chosen to be used for dry cooling. These are water and the other one is 50 % mixture of water and propylene glycol. Based on the calculation results of both cooling cycle variations appropriate pumps are chosen, fan for forced convection respectively. Parts of the thesis are also projection drawings for both calculated variations.

This thesis solves the problem of design and production of a special mounting device for the impeller nut of the main circulation pump GCN-317. The proposed device is intended to solve the problems associated with the mounting and dismounting of this nut. The work provides basic information about the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant and VVER-440 systems in general, including their brief history. It also introduces the operational and legislative environment of the primary circuit of the nuclear power plant. It deals with the task and technical description of the main circulation pump and its overhaul. The following sections present the basic principles of construction of the device and an overview of its components with a description of their purpose and method of production. The last part of the thesis describes the function of the device and its verification and reports on its deployment.

The experiment focuses on comparison of the measured values of VRF system and their comparison with data from the manufacturer.
