This dissertation solves the problems with management of capital goods in the company Moravskoslezské cukrovary a.s. The dissertation is elaborated from the analysis of present situation in the plant, whereas the heed is oriented to the most important areas, especially the organization and service activity and maintenance of assets. Objective is to elaborate proposals for problems resulting from executed analysis, and evaluate their costs and benefits for the company.

As part of my master's thesis I have conducted a visual inspection and record failures of bridge roadway at selected highway bridges, roads D47, D3 and D8 and photographic documentation, which is included in Annex. Also I have based on their speeches and documents the results of control tests determine their causes and to propose appropriate repair or maintenance.

The subject of this diploma thesis is the diagnostic survey of the masonry walls and the connecting bridge in the East Moat of Špilberk Castle. The thesis contains theoretical information about survey and diagnostics of building construction and then evaluation of diagnostic methods used for estimation of essential characteristics of masonry structures. In the practical part the diagnostic investigation of Špilberk Castle walls is processed. That includes determination of material characteristics of the studied structure. In the conclusion there is a suggestion of how to eliminate the structural defects found during the survey.

The subject of this thesis is the diagnostic investigation of block A in the object at Rumiště 8, Brno. The work includes theoretical knowledge of technical surveys and diagnostic methods and their evaluation to identify the essential characteristics of masonry and timber structures. In the practical part is the diagnostic investigation processed. Part of the diagnostic investigation is the determination of material characteristics of the structure. At the end of the thesis is an assessment of the structure.

The aim of this thesis is to design maintenance work for a small transport aircraft. This thesis is focused on an overview of the activities, which are carried out in the maintenance of small transport aircraft with a capacity about fifty passengers. The first part of this thesis is conceived as a theoretical part and summarizes the activities used during maintenance - maintenance methods, a typical part failures, diagnostics, network analysis and equations for the calculating of the cost of maintenance. At the beginning are showed the basic characteristics of selected representatives of this category and regulatory requirements on them. The design of maintenance work is in the second half of the thesis. It includes the visualization of the database that could be used for the maintenance of aircraft and which could be subsequently evaluated. This is a general description of the maintenance work, which ca be performed during the pre-flight inspection, re-inspection for repeated flights, preliminary preparation and periodic maintenance.

The diploma thesis deals with the passport of family houses and its creation. The first part describes the building condition survey from a theoretical point of view, its advantages, purposes and sorting, possible owners and so its legislative background. Thereafter it describes in detail the procedure of making the passport and applies the procedure on a particular family house in Brno. Medium passport of the family house focuses on describing the structural and technical condition. It also describes the current faults, errors and methods whose reveals them. Subsequently, the proposals for solution of these adjustments follows together with the resolution of emergency in specific cases.

The dissertation thesis is focused on feedback on writing in English lessons, and describes its character and pupil's perception of its comprehensibility. The theoretical part defines feedback as a tool of pedagogical communication, which informs the pupil about the possibilities of improvement and progress and thus shapes pupil's development within the learning process as well as pupil's personality development. The topic of feedback is presented in the context of school assessment and teaching of writing, the issue of error is mentioned as the basis for corrective feedback and an incentive for learning. Also, writing and the specifics of its assessment are discussed. The empirical part, using the qualitative design of the multi-case study, builds on the data obtained by the interviews and the content analysis of the documents. The four case studies of teachers and their pupils illustrate how teachers and pupils perceive (corrective) feedback as a tool of pedagogical communication providing information on the possibilities of improvement and progress. The feedback on writing takes the form of grading (analytical rubrics), corrective feedback in the form of marking mistakes and problematic places in the work, written comments and oral comments when teachers hand the papers over. This master's thesis offers a brief introduction to evolutionary computation. It describes and compares the genetic programming and grammar based genetic programming and their potential use in automatic software repair. It studies possible applications of grammar based genetic programming on automatic software repair. Grammar based genetic programming is then used in design and implementation of a new method for automatic software repair. Experimental evaluation of the implemented automatic repair was performed on set of test programs.

The diploma thesis is focused on the determination of the life cycle state of the production machine. The thesis is divided into several chapters. First, the life cycle of the machine is defined, and the phrase used here is given. Subsequently, the work is devoted to maintenance, repairs and modernization of the production machine. Then there is a demonstration of Schaeffler Skalica's corporate structure and individual methods that determine the state of the machine's life cycle. In the next chapter, the machine is described and then the analysis is made for the current state of the machine. Then the analyses created are evaluated.

This master thesis deals with the pavement management system as a tool for a management and maintenance of the roads in the Liberec region. The aim is to collect road failures within the network pavement management system level on roads of 2nd and 3rd class. The resulting data will be used for evaluate pavement condition and make plans of pavement maintenance and rehabilitation in variants. Furthermore, the thesis deals with individual variants in the process of data evaluation when evaluating their suitability and accuracy. The theoretical part summarises the information needed to understand the functioning of the road management system, as well as a description of the software used to collect and subsequent work with the data. In the practical part are presented results of the thesis and moreover the questions arising from the goals set are answered.
