Organický a organizovaný / The organic and organized

Šarkadyová, Lucie January 2012 (has links)
Anotation: The diploma thesis Organic and Organized is divided into two parts. The first part is concerned with the relationship between the singular and the general, possibilities of the knowing the singular and its delineation considering the general - with a special attention being paid to medical discourse. A question will be raised whether we can get to know and describe the organic, which is also necessarily singular, which we can't be approached using general rules and laws. Speaking in even more general terms, we should consider the following: if we accept the singularity of the living organism, we should ask what it means for the science which tries to get to know it. The second task of this thesis is to answer (or at least to attempt to answer) the question, what is it that makes the organism singular and henceforth what is the important factor in the process of getting to know this singular. The thesis relies on a detailed reading of those French philosophers (George Canguilhem, Julien Offray de La Mettrie, Claude Bernard) who dedicate their philosophical work to an analysis of the medical science and at the same time are doctors.

Organizovaný zločin a bezpečnost : drogové kartely: celosvětově narůstající bezpečnostní hrozba / Organized crime and security : drug cartels : the global capacity of a rising security threat

Ibáñez de Foerster, Marcela January 2013 (has links)
Over the last four decades organized crime groups, particularly, drug trafficking organizations or drug cartels, have managed to be under the spotlight of the security agendas of American countries such as Colombia and the United States. During the last two decades, however, the global securitization of the drug trafficking issue, has led them to become a major security threat not only for the Americas, but also for Europe and more recently for West African countries. These organizations pose a threat not only to the security of the state, but to the very essence of it, by corrupting and damaging everything they come in contact with at the political, social, economical and even cultural level. This graduate thesis presents an analysis on Latin American drug trafficking organizations or drugs cartels, as they are commonly known, focusing on the cases of Colombian and Mexican drug cartels. By comparing these two case studies, I suggest that today's Mexican drug trafficking organizations have gained their momentum and incommensurable strength by following the footsteps of the big three Colombian drug cartels that existed between the 1980s and 1990s. The first chapter will expose the definitions and concepts surrounding the research of organized crime. In the second and third chapters, both the...

Obchodování s lidmi: role EU v přístupech k problému v ČR a Belgii / Human trafficking: the role of the EU and the approaches to the problem in Czech Republic and in Belgium

Haniaková, Tereza January 2020 (has links)
This master thesis aims to unveil and examine the interplay between different actors in the fight against human trafficking. These are: the European Union, the Czech Republic and Belgium. A content (text) analysis of the primary sources gives the answers on how those actors work with the definition of human trafficking and to what extent the two member states implemented the EU Directive 2011/36/EU and other documents. In addition to conducting the content (text) analysis, creating a literature review and researching on different discourses linked to this phenomenon, this thesis include two semi-structured interviews with the representatives of the Czech Republic and Belgium. Those offer deeper insight into how those states form this fight in practice. They unveiled different aspects in their own approaches but also aspects that make their approach unique. This thesis examines also how the new strategy - the most important document framing the fight against human trafficking and the country's priorities - is adopted and what generally will those strategies include from the year 2020.
