This doctoral thesis focuses on creative online advertising in the context of understanding the value orientation of Czech consumers. By interactions of creative campaigns and national culture of target country aspects businesses can achieve a competitive advantage in the field of digital marketing communications. The main objective of the thesis is to create a concept of creative use of online advertising in the Czech market in relation to the cultural values of Czech consumers as a factor of increasing the competitiveness of Czech companies. The result of the thesis is a design that represents the creative elements of interactive online campaign to Czech national culture, defined as the value orientation by Schwartz according to targeting to defined age group of consumers and it also defines the effective use of online ad formats.

Knowledge of a country's national geopolitics is the key to understanding the state in all its political forms. Therefore, this thesis is devoted to the Ukrainian geopolitics of the 20th - 21st century. In it we described the main concepts and opinions of Ukrainian geopoliticians. Our goal was to learn more about the theoretical foundations of Ukrainian geopolitics as it was in the 20th century and to see its further development in the 21st century. We tried to describe as fully as possible the views of Ukrainian geopoliticians and note the peculiarities of their thinking. We also analysed possible factors influencing the geopolitical vision of Ukrainians in the 20th and 21st centuries. This thesis is divided into three major parts and conclusions. The first chapter presents the main geopolitical concepts that emerged in the first half of the 20th century and their classification. In the second chapter, we focused more on those concepts that concerned the Black Sea region. In the third chapter, we presented the main and interesting concepts of Ukrainian geopolitics of the 21st century. Conclusions are an important analytical element of our work

The main body of the thesis deals with selected factors underlying the considerable variability in human olfactory abilities and some odour awareness-related measures, addressed in samples ranging in age from middle childhood to young adulthood. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part (Chapter 1), first presents the major advances and developments that brought about something of a renaissance of scientific interest in the human sense of smell, including the recent proliferation of psychophysical studies, both basic research and clinical. Next, an outline of olfactory psychophysical measures and related olfactory abilities that are of relevance to the studies presented in this thesis is provided. Subsequently, the selected factors contributing to interindividual differences in olfactory abilities, that have been addressed by this thesis, are reviewed, namely the effect of sex (or gender), which is approached from a developmental perspective, childhood gender nonconformity, and personality. Finally, intraindividual fluctuations in olfactory performance are also mentioned in brief. The thesis is focussed on social work with visually impaired clients. The theoretical part deals with eyesight, anatomy, physiology of the eye and various visual defects; further, on personality of handicapped individuals, quality of their lives, provided social assistance, methods of typhlo- rehabilitation and appropriate utensils. The application section searches by means of qualitative research, namely semi-structured interview and observation, complex functioning of an asylum for the handicapped - Home for Visually Impaired Clients PALATA, Prague. The dissertation presents, according to the findings, personalities of the interviewed, their subjective difficulties, the way they cope with the obstacles, their level of contentment, and considers bounds of assistance possibilities from the social background. The objective of the thesis is to describe options of social work with visually impaired clients. To present their personalities and difficulties they deal with due to their handicap. This thesis deals with the value orientation and life plans of children and adolescents who are placed into young offenders' institutions because of their behavioural disorders. The theoretical part elucidates basic conceptions related to values and value orientations. It applies to individual development, family issues and education, behavioural disorders and refers to the difficulty of education and re-education in school facilities for the practice of institutional and protective education. The empirical part is a combination of a quantitative and a qualitative research. The questionnaire survey was used to determine the value orientation, life goals, preferred leisure activities, some attitudes and information about clients from the young offenders' institutions. The questionnaires were handed over to respondents from the six children's homes with school and young offenders' institutions. The established values hierarchy and life goals were compared with the results of a similar research. The unstructured interviews with children ending the compulsory education were mainly focused on the choice of study and career orientation.
