Koždoň, Jakub January 2014 (has links)
This work is focused on description how the light impact human live, description of light sources and finally design and construction of light source with adjustable colour temperature and luminous flux. In introduction is mentioned the process of vision and how the light impact humans. In next part is characterization of currently used light sources, their construction, properties, benefits and drawback with their main parameters. Important part of this chapter is more extensive description of light emitting diodes with their operational parameters. The last two parts is focused on design and measuring the parameters of created light source with adjustable colour temperature and luminous flux and evaluating the results.

GPU implementace algoritmů irradiance a radiance caching / GPU implementation of the irradiance and radiance caching algorithms

Bulant, Martin January 2015 (has links)
The object of this work is to create software implementing two algorithms for global ilumination computing. Iradiance and radiance caching should be implemented in CUDA framework on graphics card (GPU). Parallel implementation on GPU should dramatically improve algoritm speed compared to CPU implementation. The software will be written using already done framework for global illumunation computation. That allow to focus to algorithm implementation only. This work should speed up testing of new or existing methods for global illumination computing, because saving and reusing of intermediate results can be used for other algorithms too. Návrh a vyhodnocení uživatelského rozhraní pro osvětlování filmových scén / Design and evaluation of a user inteface for cinematic lighting

Růžička, Martin January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with global illumination and generally with the process of illumination of prepared scenes. A program for illumination management was written for this purpose. It can manage both direct and indirect illumination in interactive time. Simple and comfortable user interface allows for addition, deletion and change in light settings. Different types of both point and area lights are supported. In the course of all work, the program displays current illumination of the scene. With the help of this application, a series of different experiments will be carried out. We will explore the way users work during illumination, the way they perceive different properties of global illumination, various options of its control and its comparison with common direct illumination.

Geometrie stínu / Geometry of Shadows

Tolkunova, Yulianna January 2016 (has links)
The present thesis deals with geometric lighting and methods of its construction. In particular, it is aimed at parallel and central lighting of objects and groups of objects. The work includes a theoretical part, in which you can learn about the properties, methods and basic concepts related to geometric lighting. Afterwards, there is a practical part, which contains a set of examples in different projections with their solutions and visual pictures. Last chapter is about using computer for modeling of geometric lighting; mainly it is about possibilities of software Rhinoceros. In addition, the chapter contains modeled lighting of the charming Taj Mahal. The project is filled up with a number of pictures to enhance the reader's imagination about the principles and methods of lighting. In the work I emphasized intelligibility and usability of the methods listed there. In general, thesis Geometry of shadows is devoted to everybody who wants to learn more about the geometry of shadows. The thesis could be a useful study material for students and teachers of descriptive geometry. The work also includes the DVD, which contained Rhinoceros files of images, worksheets with examples solved at the work and the thesis in electronic form.

Použití neuronových sítí pro generování realistických obrazů oblohy / Using neural networks to generate realistic skies

Hojdar, Štěpán January 2019 (has links)
Environment maps are widely used in several computer graphics fields, such as realistic architectural rendering or computer games as sources of the light in the scene. Obtaining these maps is not easy, since they have to have both a high- dynamic range as well as a high resolution. As a result, they are expensive to make and the supply is limited. Deep neural networks are a widely unexplored research area and have been successfully used for generating complex and realistic images like human portraits. Neural networks perform well at predicting data from complex models, which are easily observable, such as photos of the real world. This thesis explores the idea of generating physically plausible environment maps by utilizing deep neural networks known as generative adversarial networks. Since a skydome dataset is not publicly available, we develop a scalable capture process with both low-end and high-end hardware. We implement a pipeline to process the captured data before feeding it to a network and extend an already existing network architecture to generate HDR environment maps. We then run a series of experiments to determine the quality of the results and uncover the directions of possible further research.

Kalibrace citlivosti dozimetru viditelného světla / Sensitivity calibration of visible light dosimeter

Škarvadová, Adéla January 2018 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with light dosimeters and modern printing and coating techniques for thin-film formation. The subject of experimental study is the optimization of photosensitive compositions for the preparation of disposable, printed and thin-film dosimeters for visible light. Sensitivity, reproducibility and irreversibility of their color change were optimized. Compositions were calibrated for desired light dose. Functional samples for gallery were fabricated and stability of functional samples were tested at high temperatures of storing.

Regulovatelný zdroj pro napájení LED / Controllable power supply for LED lighting

Morávek, Petr January 2018 (has links)
This thesis deals with the description of artificial light sources, that use light-emitting diodes for their operation. Further down, the parameters of LEDs and their emissions are detailed. The work follows with the characterization of principles of LED power regulation. In the practical section, an example of one of the possible LED light source topologies, is designed. The offered solution includes the options to manually and automatically regulate the chromaticity of emitted light. Functionality of the solution was verified experimentally.

Powerline komunikace pro řízení LED světel / PowerLine Communication for LED unit control

Šebesta, Ondřej January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and testing of a system for powerline communication, enabling control of LED lights. The work first describes the basic principles of powerline communication, specifies the communication bands and summarizes the basic functional requirements for communication within the system for LED lighting control. It also describes the method of selecting a modem for powerline communication, the design of a test module with this modem and also the method of testing real communication between two test modules, including test results. The most comprehensive part of the work describes the design of hardware and software of the universal PLC module and how to use it. In addition, it referes to the development tools used as an example of implementation in LED lighting. At the end of the work are summarized the results of testing the proposed system.
