Spor o povahu dramatického textu / Controversy over the Nature of Dramatic Text

Vašáková, Martina January 2017 (has links)
Controversy over the Nature of Dramatic Text This thesis will attempt to identify the nature of dramatic text in the context of two art forms: literature and theatre. It will investigate the changes which dramatic text undergoes when staged while also thematizing the relationship between the textual and other aspects of works of drama. The thesis will be primarily based around Czech theatre aesthetics of the twentieth century and will attempt to map and reflect on the theoretic discussion on this subject. At the same time it shall observe how these theoretic attitudes are reflected in dramatic texts themselves and in scenic practice of Czech theatre of the twentieth century.

Scholz, Stefan January 2018 (has links)
Stefan SCHOLZ Methodical study to the bilateral research project about mutual relationship of sacral architecture of the 13. century in the bohemian and austrian lands Abstract: To begin with the basic conditions for the interdisciplinarity and internationality of the whole research, and the necessity of a parallel survey on the profane level, will be defined. Then the main subject of the project will be linked to a wider context of the Central European integration processes in the early and high middle ages - from there results the necessity of secondary studies on Central European long term basic structures and framework developments from the 10th to the mid 13th century, as well as of historiographic context-studies to the reign of King Otakar Přemysl II. (1252- 1278). In this way the core the project will be defined: the forms of expression of the Central European integration processes in sacral and profane architecture and the settlement, urban, social and legal patterns in the bohemian, moravian, silesian and austrian towns, above all in the 3rd quarter of the 13th century. The relative chronological system of the main stylistic streams and positions of the middle european sacral architecture in 13. century shows many contrasts between the impacts of french and burgundian gothic style, the...

Manipulace s dějinami v historických filmech Otakara Vávry se zaměřením na trilogii Dny zrady, Sokolovo a Osvobození Prahy / Manipulation with history in historical Otakar Vávra's movies focusing on the trilogy Dny zrady, Sokolovo a Osvobození Prahy

Hodura, Pavel January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals with the manipulation of history in the historical film trilogy Dny zrady, Sokolovo and Osvobození Prahy, directed by Otakar Vávra. This thesis tries to define, on the basis of a comparation of historiographical works of the communist and modern historiography, the amount of historical distortion presented in these films. The normalization regime endeavoured to revise the historical knowledge of the second half of the 60s and to resume the tendencies of the communist regime of the late 40s and 50s and attempted to create a myth of perception of mordern national history, in which the positive influence of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in the 30s and 40s was emphasized. Moreover, this myth of the perception of history aimed to discredite figures that were unwanted by the regime and to emphasize friendship with the Soviet Union. Films and tv-series were an appropriate tool to form the perception of history among the people.

Hakenová, Barbora January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis Otakar Batlička's prosaic writings and its critical feedbacks in the context of Czech adventure literature focus on a development of the Czech adventurous literature and on Batlička's texts which were published at first in the teenage magazine Mladý hlasatel during the World War the Second. After his dead were published not only in magazines for teenagers (Pionýrská stezka, Sedmička pionýrů aj.), but also in book anthologies of Batlička's stories (from 60's). Batlička's stories are specified by their short extent, terse plot, punchline of the story, the absence of female characters and they take place mostly in exotic parts of the South America. The thesis mentions also critical feedbacks published in magazines Zlatý máj, Červený květ, Literární noviny, Ostravský kulturní zpravodaj, Hlas revoluce etc. and refers to illustrators of the Batlička's stories. The thesis thinks about a position of adventure literature in a context of nowaday book production for children and teenagers and for this decade of 21st century are typical mainly novels about post-apocalyptic vision of fictional future world. Narrations from exotic setting are not so atractive maybe because of too easy accessibility of far regions for contemporary man, the absence of secret and commercialization of the mentioned...

Contemporary Double Bass Techniques: An Advanced Technical Approach

Meyer, Mariechen 05 1900 (has links)
Diverse practicing methods are evidence of the importance of applying creativity in our practice regimes. Regardless of a player's technique - traditional or modern - it must be regularly practiced and then applied. One of the most common ways to do that is through practicing technical exercises, which generally means the practice of scales, arpeggios and etudes. These exercises generally function as a warm-up regime for all musicians, but this regime doesn't necessarily provide enough reference for the player in the learning process of a new piece. Adapting exercises to address technical difficulties in a newly learned piece can provide the player with a wide range of practice methods to use, to be creative, to be more aware while practicing, and to build a solid technical foundation for the newly learned piece. Two well-known pedagogues who applied this approach are German bassist Ludwig Streicher and Czech violinist Otakar Ševčik. By implementing analytical studies and composing exercises based on the standard repertoire, Ševčik and Streicher became highly influential teachers in the 20th century. Their work serves as a model in achieving the purposes of this dissertation: the assessment of technical difficulties and compilation of a technique booklet based on six unaccompanied contemporary solo pieces written as required works for the solo competition of the International Society of Bassists' biennial convention since 2007.

Trachtová, Hana January 2011 (has links)
Illegitimate relationship of Přemysl Otakar II. and Anežka of Kuenring in the context of Přemysl's Austrian politics in the 1250s Hana Trachtová 2010 The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate how the private life of Přemysl Otakar II. was interconnected with his political activities in the 1250s. The assumption is that choosing Anežka of Kuenring as the king's mistress was not accidental, but that it was motivated, among other reasons, also politically. The work covers development of Bohemian-Austrian relations in the Middle Ages up to the early 1260s. It follows the progress of the struggle for the Babenberg heritage as well as other Přemysl's activities in the 1250s. It links Přemysl's political acts to his family issues and it also deals with his relation to the Kuengring family. Attention is also devoted to Přemysl's offspring born out of wedlock, his effort to legitimize three of them and to their further life stories.
