In our diploma thesis "Home hospice and palliative care" we deal with home hospices and, to a lesser extent, inpatient hospices. We also discuss palliative care, futile treatment, euthanasia and previously expressed wishes. The work also deals with legislative laws or regulations regarding hospice palliative care and health care in general and ethics. The work mentions mobile hospice teams, palliative care counseling teams in hospitals, care for terminally ill patients. The importance of the presence of loved ones at the time of the patient's death, the lack of palliative beds in the Czech Republic and the little public awarness of hospice care, previsouly expressed wishes and other home hospices as an alternative to euthanasia are determined. In his thesis the author attempts to a brief insight into the Islam with focus on orthopraxis of each Muslim, which accompanies him for the whole life, dividing the issue into the Muslim life phases and a broader Muslim family interests - see the work content. The author himself worked with Muslims for more than 15 years, out of which almost 10 years in Islamic countries (Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait and Pakistan) as well as in countries with strong Muslim population (Israel, Botswana, South Africa). Stárnutí na venkově / Aging in the country

Bartoňová, Eva January 2016 (has links)
A man goes through several development periods in their life; and the ultimate stage is the old age. Today's middle age generation is awaiting a very long journey towards their well-deserved rest, and therefore it is necessary to change some patterns of thinking and behaviour in view of old age and aging generation. Every man should realize that they themselves will be old and reliant on the help of others one day, and adapt their behaviour and thinking accordingly now because not only every person but every senior deserves to be supported and encouraged enough to have a will and interest to live a quality life filled with an active interest in themselves and their surroundings, as well as to feel dignified, wanted and confident, not pushed to the edge of society, imprisoned in their loneliness and uncertainty.
