Individualizovaná vývojová péče o novorozence narozené před 32. gestačním týdnem z ošetřovatelského pohledu / Newborn individualized developmental care of the babies born before week 32 their gestation age from the view of the nursing staff

TROUPOVÁ, Jitka January 2010 (has links)
Currently, the care of premature newborn infants and their parents is mainly focused on the so-called Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program (NIDCAP) that is aimed at protection of the developing central nervous system of a premature child.The aim of nursing care is to help premature child to cope with the premature delivery. To adjust the environment and the way of care so it suits the individual needs of every child. The support of the parental role and the efforts to involve parents in the care of a newborn infant as early as possible are stressed. The following objectives were defined in the diploma thesis. To process experience with introducing new forms of the developmental care of excessively or extremely premature newborn infants from the point of view of nursing. To characterize current provision of individualized developmental care of newborn infants born before week 32 of gestation. To map the role of the nurse in delivering individualized developmental care and to find out how parents perceive the developmental care of excessively and extremely premature newborn infants. 4 research questions were raised on the basis of the objectives of the thesis. Which forms of the individualized developmental care are used in care of a newborn infant born before week 32 of gestation most? Which problems do nurses have to cope when employing individualized developmental care in the day-to-day care of newborn infants born before week 32 of gestation with and which roles of nurses are applied most when providing care? How do parents of newborn infants born before week 32 of gestation perceive the care of their child included in the individualized developmental care? The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of excessively and extremely premature newborn babies, characteristics of the individualized developmental care and the nursing strategies, the role of a nurse and the role of parents. The practical part is focused on the qualitative research. The results of the research suggest the nurses have included the individualized developmental care into the nursing care of premature newborn infants at the Department of Neonatal Medicine in the Hospital in České Budějovice, however, not in its full extent. The parents perceive the included aspects of this care positively,the nursing staff is important. The research has identified problems nurses have to cope with when they implement this care and what the reserves in the implementation are. A map of the individualized developmental care that can be used by nurses in practice is the result of the research.

Standardizace ošetřovatelské péče jako nedílná součást přípravy na akreditační šetření. / Standardization of nursing care as an integral part of preparation for the accreditation survey

ŠIMÁČKOVÁ, Alexandra January 2010 (has links)
The Diploma thesis deals with standardisation of nursing care in the context of preparatory work for accreditation survey, i.e. a mutual harmony between standards developed in health care institutions and those developed by the SAK ČR accreditation commission. Standardisation is a process of setting essential rules which should guarantee providing a high quality nursing care. These rules (standards) enable to evaluate the quality of all nursing activities. Nurses should be aware of standardisation process and be actively engaged in it. The theoretical part describes the part of Czech nursing system concept focused on the quality of nursing care, defines the quality itself, maps the systems which help improve the quality of nursing care in health care institutions and refers to the formation of nursing standards. Practical part deals with five aims stated at the beginning: To map the quality of standardisation in nursing care as a preparatory part of accreditation survey. To find out if nursing care in hospitals is carried out through the method of nursing process. To find out if nursing care is supported by properly kept documentation. To find out if the needs of education were considered for all patients. To find out if nurses are aware of the importance of nursing care standardisation. We chose a quantitative research method. To collect the research data we used anonymous questionnaires. Each of the hospitals was given 50 questionnaires, i.e. 250 in total as the research group was made by respondents from the hospitals in Jindřichův Hradec, Pelhřimov, Tábor, Písek a Havlíčkův Brod. 230 completed questionnaires were returned and 204 of them represented then the research group. Within the research, we accomplished the aims stated, and proved these hypotheses: Hypothesis 1 (H1): The hospitals meet all requirements of accreditation survey of nursing care standardisation. H2: Nursing care in the hospitals is carried out through the method of nursing process. H3: Nursing care in the hospitals is supported by properly kept documentation. H4: The needs of education were considered for all patients and recorded in the nursing documentation. H5: The nurses are aware of the importance of nursing care standardisation. The quantitative research resulted into the statement that all hospitals meet the requirements of accreditation survey of nursing care standardisation. Nursing care in the hospitals is carried out through the method of nursing process which is properly recorded in nursing documentation. It was also found out that the needs of education were considered for all patients and properly recorded in the nursing documentation. The nurses are aware of the importance of nursing care standardisation. The facts resulted from the research prove that the quality of nursing care in the chosen hospitals is very high and meets the requirements of accreditation standards. The research findings will be offered to the hospital managements as an educational material for nurses and midwives.

Rodičovské chování a jeho vztah k sociálnímu a reprodukčnímu systému u hrabošů \kur{(Microtus, Arvicolinae)} / Parental behaviour and its relationship to social and reproductive system in voles \kur{(Microtus, Arvicolinae)}

ELIÁŠOVÁ, Michaela January 2010 (has links)
I examined parental behaviour of three vole species, the brandt{\crq}s vole (Microtus brandti), the common vole (M. arvalis) and the levant vole (M. guentheri) in laboratory conditions. Monogamous and highly social Brandt{\crq}s voles displayed high levels of parental and paternal care. However, mostly promiscuous and solitary common voles also exhibited an intensive parental care. In contrast, polygynous and social levant voles displayed very low levels of parental care. Males of both latter species engaged in parental activities but spent less time in contact with pups then females. These findings suggest that intensive parental care may be connected rather with the high growth rate a slower postnatal development of the species than with social or reproductive system.

Transformace a deinstitucionalizace náhradní péče o děti v České republice / Transformation and Deinstitutionalization in Substitutional Child Care System in the Czech Republic

Potužníková, Michaela January 2018 (has links)
Substitutional child care is an indispensable part of system of social and legal protection of children. Until 1989, institutional care was preferred, while after the fall of communist government it had been gradually replaced by substitutional family care, because of the inappropriateness of institutional care to fully compensate for family environment. Deinstitutionalization means transforming the system of placing children to alternative care and it is understood as transition from institutional care to types of substitutional family care, eventually to more individual type of care with more family character. An amendment to the Social and Legal Children Protection Act, which aimed at transforming the system of substitutional care towards more individual work with endangered children, came into force in 2013. The amendment restored the institute of temporary foster care and modified the institute of long-term foster care. Moreover it set up system rules for the work of social and legal children protection authorities, it focused on prevention concerning endangered children etc. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate changes in the area of deinstitutionalization of substitutional child care in the Czech Republic after the amendment to the Social and Legal Children Protection Act from 2013, especially...

Klíčové aspekty kvality života dospělých lidí s mentálním postižením v ústavech sociální péče / Key aspects of quality of life for adults with mental disabilities in social care

Miler, Jiří January 2006 (has links)
