Dostupnost zdravotní péče v krajích České republiky / The availability of healthcare in the regions of the Czech RepublicČernovská, Stanislava January 2010 (has links)
The graduation thesis focuses on the economics of health, particularly for medical factor -- the availability of healthcare. The aim of this thesis is to determine regional differences in availability of healthcare in the regions of the Czech Republic. The availability has been analyzed from a geographical point of view, therefore, on the basis of density of the network of health facilities. The objective is achieved by using statistical processing of data provided by ÚZIS ČR and ČSÚ. The thesis has been performed using the methods of statistical analysis, synthesis, comparison and deduction. In the provision of hospital care there were not found any more significant regional disparities. The availability of outpatient care was found that the availability of primary health care was from the 90th years pushed by ordination of professional specialists. In the availability of general practitioners there appeared some interregional differences. The worst availability was analyzed in the regions Středočeský and Ústecký.

Ekonomické aspekty dlouhodobé péče / The Economic Aspects of the Long-term CareFiala, Petr January 2021 (has links)
The submitted dissertation of the PhD study programme Longevity Studies, Faculty of Humanites, Charles University, Prague was completed as a collection of the author's publications concerning the economic aspects of the long-term care in the Czech Republic. It deals with the contemporary problems on financing the inpatient follow-up care (after-care), long-term care, social care and home care. It is relying on the original data collected from the individual establishments during an on-site surveys and is seeking to bridge the gap caused by a lack of economic information on these types of inpatient care - less visible, but the more important. The first articles (as well as the concomitant text) describe the demography of the population in the Czech Republic and the factors with the main influence/impact on these types of care. It's worth to notice that our people spend more than 9 years in chronic disease in comparsion with the developed EU countries. And more - the tendency is deepening. The further articles bring unique results of an extensive cost analysis. This has been carried out in 61 establishments of the inpatient after-care with the total 8.768 beds in the Czech Republic and in the 72 home care agencies, covering the whole country. The enclosed tables give then the possibility to gain an...

Raná péče v rodině s dítětem raného věku se speciálními potřebami jako součást speciální pedagogiky raného věku / Early intervention in the family with a early age child with special needs as a part of early childhood special pedagogic educationŠándorová, Zdenka January 2006 (has links)
This thesis has investigative and empirical character. It combines an attempt to create a theoretical system (a new subdiscipline of special pedagogy) with an attempt to gain arguments by means of empirical investigation. It begins with theoretical part which presents historical and pedagogical overview of the issue by defining reference field, target groups, tasks, basic terminology and the whole system of special pedagogy of an early age. An early age care as a theoretical subsystem included in comprehensive and integrative special pedagogy in the system of social and rehabilitation, and special pedagogical services forms a specific part of my thesis. The theoretical part has a character of metatheory because at an early age the beginnings of education, care and support are given according to the theory of comprehensive special pedagogy (Jesenský 2000) or integrative special pedagogy (Vítková 2003). By this the possibility of application into the pedagogy of individual physical and mental handicaps and the possibility of education development in other age groups are open. DRG systém v ČRHodyc, Daniel MUDr. January 2007 (has links)
Diplomová práce hodnotí historický proces implementace klasifikačního systému DRG v České republice a srovnává jej s vývojem analogických systémů v ostatních zemích světa.

Prevence obezity u psů / Prevention of obesity in dogsListíková, Jana January 2016 (has links)
Summary
Obesity is a serious condition that brings many health risks and the attendant reduction of the quality of the dog's life. For those reasons, it is important to prevent obesity and to focus on its prevention, which is full responsibility of the owner. The owner should therefore have enough appropriate information about the basic needs of their dog's diet, its natural behavior, and its need to move. The veterinarians play an important role in that .
The aim of this work is to cover the issue of obesity in dogs with the help of research and a questionnaire survey. A part of the aim is to map how owners and breeders cooperate with veterinarians, if/how they are informed about their dog's nutrition, whether they focus on preventing obesity in their dogs, or what they do if their dog is already overweight.
The questionnaires helped evaluate four hypotheses:
1) The dogs whose owners haven't discussed the dog's weight with their veterinarians (while the veterinarians have not offered any consulting about nutrition) suffer from obesity more than others.
2) The dogs whose owners actively focus on obesity prevention suffer from obesity less than others.
3) The dogs who have access to food ad libitum and at the same time their daily activity is less than 1 hour suffer from obesity more than others.
4) The dogs who are fed industrially processed food and whose owners prefer price to quality when choosing food suffer from obesity more than others.
Altogether, 161 questionnaires were filled in and subsequently evaluated. The respondents comprised both males and females of all ages who owned dogs of both sexes and various breeds and ages. This sample of respondents confirmed the first two hypotheses. The other two hypotheses have not been statistically confirmed. Twenty percent of the dogs were categorized as overweight or obese. Overall, the questionnaires showed that in most cases, those respondents trust their veterinarians, they pay attention to prevention and also share the veterinarian's opinion on their dog's condition. On the other hand, the questionnaires also showed that the veterinarians could be more proactive.
Even among the dogs of the above mentioned respondents, there were overweight or obese dogs. Obesity is a hot issue and these days, it is considered a disease. Its prevention should therefore be crucial.
