Hodnocení dopravní dostupnosti suburbánních oblastí Prahy / Assessment of Transportation Accessibility in Prague's Suburban Areas

Marčev, David January 2016 (has links)
This doctoral thesis seeks to evaluate the accessibility of the centre of the capital city Prague by people commuting from the suburbs on a daily basis using different types of transport and the related energy performance of these differing types of vehicle. The goal of this academic work is to propose a methodology for measuring transport accessibility by utilising energy efficiency as benchmark. On the basis of energy requirements, obtained by measurements taken during journeys both by car and bus, a method of calculating the energy demands of the two modes of transport was derived. This proposed method of measurement was then applied to journeys from selected suburbs and the results were compared. A part of this work was to propose an "energy information label" whose goal is to inform residents about the energy requirements of the various types of transport when used for their daily commute from the suburbs to the city core. It was verified that the performance of the measured units of energy required are significantly affected by another factor. The main benefit of this work is the proposal of a methodology for the acquisition and measurement of the energy performance during the populations daily commute. Another benefit is the proposal to implement an "energy information label" which serves to inform the population about the energy performance when commuting to their place of work in the city core.

Analýza hlavních vlivů ovlivňujících spotřebu energie v jedoucích dopravních zařízeních

KLÍMA, David January 2018 (has links)
This thesis on the analysis of the main reasons influencing the energy consumption in the moving transport vehicles is focused on point out the effect of the driving resistances and other quantities on the total energy consumption. In the first part the thesis deals with the theory of road transport, theory of driving resistances and also economics of driving and measurement of fuel consumption. The second part deals with the calculation of resistance of selected cars and their consumption.

Sériová a paralelní diagnostika přímého vstřikování paliva u vozidla Superb 1,8 TSI

HAJNÝ, Vladislav January 2018 (has links)
Works on Serial and Parallel Diagnostics of Direct Fuel Injection for the Superb 1.8 TSI is concerned with the use of the Škoda Superb II. generation, based on VOŠ professional training, automotive and technical secondary school in České Budějovice. Because the car is fully functional, it is possible to demonstrate both the mode of operation and the control options on the individual components. The aim of this diploma thesis is therefore to make, document and describe diagnostics of the fuel system of the mentioned vehicle using the gauges and diagnostic tools available in the school education. I believe that I will acquire other valuable theoretical and practical knowledge, which I will apply in the technical practice.

Alternativní paliva v dopravě / Alternative fuels for transport

Běláčková, Adéla January 2008 (has links)
The thesis Alternative fuels for transport is dealing with the topic of economic competitiveness and environmental advantages of alternative fuels in comparison to classical oil fuels in transport. First, the main transport related problems are discussed in detail, including the dependency on oil, emissions from transport and their impact on human health and the environment. Then, the different types of alternative fuels are presented, including the legal framework, possibility of tax exemption and subsidy financing. The comparison of emissions of alternative and classical fuels follows the logic of the whole life cycle of a fuel, using the Well-to-Wheel analysis as method. Emissions of greenhouse gases and emissions of pollutants of local importance are observed. The cost comparison is based on experience in public bus transport in the Czech Republic. Fixed, variable and total costs are compared for classical diesel, biodiesel, natural gas, LPG, hydrogen and an electric vehicle. The purpose of the study is to decide which of the alternative fuels represents a cost competitive option in comparison to classical diesel and also provides a reduction in total emissions. The results of the study are designed to help Krkonošské Metro Association to choose a suitable alternative fuel for a project in rail transport.

Komparace dopravních módů z hlediska produkce emisí škodlivin / Comparison of Transport Modes Regarding the Creation of Pollutant Emissions

Huňková, Žaneta January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with modes of transport and their impact on the environment. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with fossil fuels and their impact on the environment, emission that are produced and alternative fuels. The theoretical part also describes how emissions at different transport mode are regulated. The practical part consists of comparison of specific transport modes, regarding of emissions produced.

Cost index dopravních letadel / Airlinerʼs cost index

Ján, Tomáš January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on cost index. Cost index is one of the method, which is used for cost optimalization in airline operation. Cost index compare time-related costs during flight and cost of fuel. Value of cost index influences cruise speed and fuel consumption, the higher cost index, the higher speed. Costs classification into fixed, variable and time-related costs is very important for cost index calculation. Goal of thesis is decribe importance of using cost index and advantages resulting from correct cost index application in airline operations. Practical part is focued on fuel consumption of Boeing 737 on specific routes and its evaluation. The goal is to compare calculated and real fuel consumption and find, if an airline is able to achieve calculated consumption in real operation.

Zkušební stav pro zkoušení chladičů / Cooler Test Bench

Kleger, Ondřej January 2012 (has links)
Emission limits and economic situation pressure automobile manufacturer, over the prospective buyer, to production more economy car. One of the elements which may indirectly reduce for example fuel consumption is automobile radiator. Construction of these accessories isn’t simple and simulation its characteristics need inspection in real measurements. Test bench for automobile radiator can help to easily choice and the project cooling system of the vehicles.
