Abstract The electronic paper may be the scientific and technological result substituting most paper products to print in the following 5 to 10 years, this thesis is with grinding finding condition and function of electronic paper, and from the newsprint consumption of journalism in Taiwan, issuing way, print the newspaper machine and Man power to dispose , operation live telecast , such as computer software and hardware equipment ,etc., the rise of the wireless and wide-band network, the reduction of the digit drop, the journal ism of Taiwan of evaluation and analysis will use the feasibility o f the electronic paper in the future. The conclusion of this research thinks the electronic postpartum of quantity over the next several years of paper, if the news print cost printing the newspaper with the level is about equal at it s price, will replace most newspapers taking newsprint as carrier soon , will influence other levels medias , such as magazine and books ,etc . too This research is proposed to Taiwanese journalism should be made and should prepare this scientific and technological products that will come out soon early, adjust management tactics in goodtime, and the Taiwan journalism relying mainly on Chinese the original complex form of a simplified Chinese character, establish the difference and key value , with digitisation and internet network , change into different character s immediately, convey to all parts of the world, improve the competition advantage , enable the journalism of Taiwan to enter world journalism market, and there Key word : E-Paper , Electronic Paper , E-Ink , Electronic-Ink.
