Cochem practice in the Czech Republic Abstract In this diploma thesis we will focus on the Cochem practice and its use in the Czech Republic. In our environment, this practice is still relatively new and also not very reflected in expert circles. We will present its beginnings and origins in Germany and focus on its takeover by Czech courts and institutions, whose roles in the Cochem practice we will analyse. We will further focus on the activities of the District Court in Nový Jičín in greater detail. This District Court as the first court in the Czech Republic started to apply the Cochem practice. We will also make a comparison with other selected courts in the Czech Republic, moreover we will take a brief excursion abroad. Key words: Child, Cochem practice, parents

The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the current situation of the families with an incurably ill children in the Czech Republic and their needs and problems as well as the support provided by the society. In addition the theoretical part is focused on the sources of the support by the general public. The practical part contains a qualitative analysis which aims to investigate whether the respondents would provide the support to the families taking care of an incurably ill children or if the respondents would expect to get the support in a difficult life situation.

PhDr. Jana Uhlířová, CSc. This dissertation presents broad context of religious education generally together with the discourse of church established schools, above all nursery schools. The first, theoretical part treats with the broad topic of religious education in the context of the psychology of religion, religious socialization and the experience and the development of moral standards. This section also defines the role of family, church, school and the society in the religious development of the child and the transferring the beliefs and the traditions to young generation. Second practical part is divided into two substantive parts. First on the basis of analysis of questionnaire survey monitors the activities of religious nursery schools, their activities and teaching in relation to the proposed religious and educational goals. Second unit of this part deals with extracurricular activities that churches are doing for children during the week.

The thesis deals with the issue of parents' access to school assessment. The theoretical part is focused on basic concepts such as assessment, its form and function and the possibility of objectivity; further outlines the relationship between family and school, their cooperation and the importance of evaluation in the family and in the society. The focus of this thesis is qualitative research, whose goal was to reveal through semi-structured interviews how parents perceive the school evaluation at the primary school. Emphasis is placed on the importance and the meaning that parents attach to evaluation of what they represent the due date and how school evaluation affects their relationship with their children and the school. Based on the research, it was found that the attitude of parents towards evaluation is very ambivalent, driven mainly predominant social discourse, own image of a child and satisfaction with the school and teacher.
