Presented work deals with analysis and description of the pastoral approaches of youth workers in the Salesian youth centres. The common characteristics of the Salesian youth centres are presented in the introductory part of the work. At first this theoretic part deals with the common conception of the Salesian youth pastoral ministry, afterwards deals with the official Czech conception. Second part of the work is applied. It is focused on the qualitative research realised in autumn 2007. It involved 18 respondents from the Salesian youth centres. This applied part starts with description of the research preparation and continues with description of the research process. Finally it deals with the data synthesis. There is a list of the results at the end of this part. There is a large supplement of the data attached at the end of the work.

This diploma thesis is focused on the topic of religious education of youth in the Church of Brethren. Its main aim is to describe the process of religious education of youth according to the theoretical and practical sources of the Church of Brethren. The results were compared in the last part of the thesis to the educational concepts of other churches studied in the theoretical part. The theoretical part defines the terms related to religious education such as catechesis, pastoral care, evangelization, discipleship, religious pedagogy etc. It also includes the characteristics of the Church of Brethren and youth in the context of postmodern era. The last chapter deals with religious education of youth in church in general with regards to the personality of a youth pastor, educational goals and teaching methods. The practical part is designed as an analysis of three areas: Department of Youth of the Church of Brethren, other Christian organizations working with youth and an interview with the Leading pastor of the Council of the Church of Brethren who has been working with youth for many years. Diploma thesis Assistance to the handicapped people and their families deals with demanding challenges which parents with children born with handicap are faced. Concerning the exacting situations that aren't one - time but long-term, parents are grateful for each support or help. Therefore a sensitive assistance to these families is very important. To make it effective, it's necessary to understand both thinking, feelings, handicapped child's needs and members of their broad surroundings. That's why this thesis occupies with challenging life situations, stress and stress coping in general, child's handicap, accepting this child and related unexpected new situations by parents. The thesis deals with issues related to children with autism and with Down's syndrome. It presents significant role of support for children with handicap and their families provided by the self-governed associations and groups. It occupies with assistance to these families with handicapped children by means of challenge for pastoral work and evangelization. The thesis focuses on the ways of making the Bible accessible und understandable to young people. It deals with the methods and techniques which could be used for this purpose. The possible application of music, as one of the approaches to the Bible study, is explained in more detail. In the first part the author presents the theoretical concepts, which make obvious, why it is so important to meet with young for the purpose of reading and studying the Bible. Furthermore, the basic set of information necessary for the organization of such a meeting is introduced. In the second part the author offers theoretical instructions how to use the particular methods and techniques for the Bible meeting. Subsequently the practical application of these particular methods and techniques is described. In the third part the musical theory and particular musical methods and techniques in relation to the Bible meeting are dealt with.

The thesis deals with the chaplaincy role, taking into consideration man´s religious dimension in a specific Czech Republic Armed Forces environment. It conducts a survey of military chaplaincy history at first, from a biblical ages to the present days and outlines possibilities for it´s further orientation. It deals with a cornerstone of the chaplaincy services afterwords, which is chaplain´s personality and his particular roles. The thesis subsequently analyses the subject of ethics of a soldier as well as marginally deals with the theme of war defense and pacifism. The end of the thesis describes stress and it´s impact to a soldier, including consequences of such an impact and it is dealing with the question of the military chaplaincy role, during following care about soldiers, affected by post traumatic stress disorder, in a context of holistic philosophy. Comparing and assessing the obtained information, this thesis finds out, if the military chaplaincy has an irreplaceable position in the Czech Republic Armed Forces.

The thesis discusses the Plenary Assembly of the Czech Catholic Church, which took place in the years 2003 ? 2005 in Velehrad. The work consists of six chapters, an introduction and conclusion. The first charter focuses on the history of the synod assemblies and not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the world. The largem part is devoted II. Vatican, which significantly influenced the whole Christian world. The sekond and the third charter is devoted to the Plenary Assembly of himself with us. Capture congress here since its publication. In the fifth chapter, your can already find the final analysis of that document, together with the specifically selected conciliar documents and one, which took care of the Germanem Joint Synod of Bishops. The sixth charter already Rouge Post-Synodal development, including vision and plans of the Czech Catholic Church in the future.

Presented master thesis deals with description of the gradual development and positions of the church schools in CR during the last 20 years. These schools are then complemented by the schools of theology at CR universities. This thesis is in a certain way a continuation of a bachelor thesis, successfully defended in 2007 at the School of Education of Charles University. The thesis describes in brief the history of education and pedagogy in general, church schools including. Then there are specified all the pertinent valid legal regulations for operation of church schools based on experience of the author from a managerial position of such a school for many years. The role of the general management and management of human resources on one side and the theological reflection of the church schools on the other side is discussed. In detail, the equipment of the facilities and their economy is analyzed as well as the goals and calling of these schools. In a wide spectrum of opportunities open to church schools in 21st century their potential can be used through new and fresh methods for evangelizing, mission and pastoral care.
