This diploma thesis deals with the design and realization of robotic drive of the camera scanner system of plants together with the control unit. This device serves as the carrier system of various camera sensors. The sensors will monitor both the growth and the physiological status of the cultivated plants in the growth chambers. The thesis describes the choice of electronic and mechanical components from which the device is built. The text describes a design of the PCB that will control the device. Part of the thesis is also a demonstration of the realization of the systém together with the illustration of the real form of the system and its testing.

This diploma thesis deals with design and realization of testing modules for detecting a defective peripheral in a mobile robot. One of the modules is intended for the diagnosis of ultra sonic range finder. The second one simulates the behaviour of these ultra sonic range finders, making it able to determine interface on which it is necessary to look for an error.

Concerning space visualisation and its narrative potential related to the narrator's identity, the theoretical basis of the work is experimentaly set in a postcolonial framework. As such, the thesis intends to capture the resonance of the material in another culture (ie in the Czech, Slovak and Polish environment). The thesis focuses on the cultural and historical potential of the development of peripheral regions of Czechia. The case study covers three model areas - regions of municipalities with an authorised municipal office Horažďovice, Kašperské Hory and Netolice. The aim of the thesis is to accomplish a discursive analysis of the concept of the cultural and historical potential, together with related terms, and to consider feasibility of its embodiment into the context of surrounding regions development in Czechia, to identify cultural and historical potential of selected model areas and to propose possibilities of its usage. The methodology lies in the study of literature and in the research of selected areas. The cultural and historical potential is rated from the identifiable elements and their particular importance. The potential is relative to the area, number of inhabitants and the number of parts of the municipality. This diploma thesis is generally devoted to the endogenous potential of the development of the smallest settlements of the selected part of the inner periphery in Czechia. This internal potential is created by the socio-economic and socio-cultural status of the settlement. At a time when the rural development paradigm, ie the top-down approach and the principle of local governance, prevails according to OECD, it seems that the socio-cultural part of the endogenous potential of the settlement is probably the key one. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the possibilities of local actors, especially permanent residents and subjects of the second housing, in influencing the overall state of the given settlement - socio-economic part of the internal potential of the settlement. In the practical part, it analyzes the internal potential of selected settlements, statistically tests the relationship between these factors and looks for probable reasons for different potential. The relationship between the internal factors of development was confirmed and the socio-cultural nature was identified as a key aspect of potential success. The aim of the Master's thesis is to analyze the growing interest of the global economic system centers in the region of developing countries in sub-Saharan Africa with the account on weakening position of the West in relation to this region. The thesis will be structured into two sections. The first part will focus on the relationship between the West and countries of the African continent and the circumstances allowing not only the access of new challengers, but also alternative development models. In this respect the thesis will use the theoretical works of Adrian Leftwich and Claus Offe dealing with the issues of democratization and economic development and their mutual incompatibility. The second part of the thesis will analyze relations with these emerging, non-western power centers and their alternative development models. The research question of the thesis is formulated whether these alternative centers of the global economic system in the region of sub-Saharan Africa propagate their own conception of development models, with proclaimed respect for local conditions, as a challenger to the Western concept of development policy. This thesis examines the development of relations between mainland France (center) and its peripheries, French Polynesia and New Caledonia, which are located in the South Pacific. The thesis aims at answering the following questions: which factors have played a role in the mobilization of the peripheral cultures against the dominant center? How has the center reacted to the peripheral mobilization and its demands? Why has the separatism become much stronger in New Caledonia than in French Polynesia? The thesis examines the historical, societal and political developments in French Polynesia and New Caledonia since the dawn of their colonization till the present day in order to respond to the stipulated questions.

Peiwei Li Abstract: This paper is to investigate whether the Eurozone crisis brings similar effects to the economic growth of two groups of the EU's peripheral countries, including the PIIGS and the CEE countries. Greece, Ireland and Portugal from the PIIGS group; and the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland from the CEE group are selected as the researched countries in this paper. In order to quantify how the Eurozone crisis affects the economic growth of these two groups of countries, this research utilises the statistical software STATA to operate a panel regression model with country and time fixed effects. The employed panel data contains selected indicators of the six researched countries over 2004-2018. Indicators that may affect economic growth of countries during the Eurozone crisis includes current account balance, FDI inflows, debt, exports and unemployment. Apart from the generation of overall results for all the six countries over 2004-2018, this paper generates a dummy variable "eurozone" to divide the researched countries into two groups. In this thesis I chose the topic of the history of modern Italian literature, namely the period of neorealism. Literary production exceeds its framework and passes into another kind of art, into filmmaking. So thesis gains interdisciplinary character. Furthermore, for me, this period significant for its ethical and aesthetic values of the human society. The first part summarizes important books about the life of Pier Paolo Pasolini. In the central part is based on mutual comparison works, novels and films, the opinions of experts works drawn from secondary literature. It is currently the focus of work: analysis of novels and film sequences through which it speaks to us. In the last part of the thesis contents Pasolini's book dedicated to collection of essays bearing his poetic intention to intervene in language, literature and film layers of Italian culture.
 Pasolini's scope goes beyond individual disciplines, interconnects arts and beyond "mere" national scope. It opens up new issues in the community in which he later become fateful.
