The thesis describes the bearing between the chassis and the land, and current trends used of tires. Are listed and described the different types of tire construction. The main objective of this thesis is to describe a methodology for the experimental measurement of the drawbar properties of the tractor and analyze changes in drawbar performance due changes in inflation pressure of the tires. Measured and calculated data are processed by regression analysis.

<p>Compressed air is a low efficiency media, and is thus very expensive to produce. This thesis work began by mind mapping how to create savings on the compressed air system at Billerud Skärblacka AB. Certain issues have been chosen for further studies.</p><p>In order to identify the consumption of compressed air at PM 8 and 9, several measurements were made. At PM 8 there were not found any pressure drop, only large pressure variations for short periods of time. The causes of these pressure variations were not established. At PM 9 a registered pressure drop of around 1 bar was found. The cause of the pressure drop at PM9 was not found. A solution for the pressure drop was presented, which also could give an opportunity to reduce the nominal pressure in the compressed air system. An idea for improvement of the compressed air system structure has also been presented.</p><p>A search for leakages on the compressed air system was carried out both at PM 8 and PM 9. Leakages at PM8 seem to be lower than at PM9. The search for leakages pointed out that those leakages on the compressed air system reduces the efficiency of the compressed air system.</p><p>There are some large scale consumers of compressed air at Billerud, for example one function at PM8 and the cleaning function of timber trucks. One idea for reducing electrical consumption is to replace compressed air with a high pressure fan at PM8. In the report more suggestions for saving electrical energy regarding the other large scale consumers are presented.</p>

Dagens garagedomkrafter är svåra att förflytta, där positionering ofta kräver många manuella rörelser och relativt höga manuella krafter. I samarbete med REHOBOT Hydraulics AB utfördes ett projekt fokuserat på att underlätta förflyttningen av garagedomkrafter. Enligt uppdraget ska detta lösas med hjälp av pneumatik som skapar en lufthinna mellan domkraftens undersida och golvet. Detta innebär en konstruktionslösning med mycket låg friktion, vilket i sin tur möjliggör enkel manuell förflyttning av domkraften utan riktningskrav. En förstudie utfördes som undersökte konkurrerande garagedomkrafter, ljudergonomi, kvaliteten på verkstadsgolv samt metoder för att bära en massa med hjälp av aerostatik. Funktionsmodeller skapades utifrån de aerostatiska metoderna. Informationen insamlad i förstudien sammanfattades i en kravspecifikation. Kravspecifikationen användes som stöd vid konceptutvecklingen. Resultatet bygger på användandet av två lyftenheter där den principiella konstruktionslösningen innebär att lyftenheterna kan integreras i företagets nuvarande domkraftskonstruktioner med endast ett fåtal modifikationer. Lyftenheternas placering och utformning innebär möjlighet till förflyttning, både med hjul samt med aerostatik. Slutkonceptet utvecklades vidare i en detaljkonstruktionsfas. I denna fas beaktades tillverkningssätt, utvärdering av miljöpåverkan samt montering och demontering. Examensarbetet avslutas med majoriteten av detaljkonstruktionsfasen återstående, med en diskussion kring projektet i stort och rekommendationer för fortsatt utvecklingsarbete. / Today's trolley jacks are difficult to move, where positioning often requires many manual movements and relatively high manual forces. In collaboration with REHOBOT Hydraulics AB, a project focused on easing the movement of trolley jacks was carried out. According to the assignment this is to be solved with the help of pneumatics that creates an air film between the jack and the floor. This means a technical solution with very low friction, which in turn enables easy manual movement of the jack without directional requirements. A study was conducted that examined the competing trolley jacks, noise ergonomics, quality of shop floors and aerostatic principles. Models were created to test different aerostatic principles. The information collected in the pilot study was summarized in a requirements specification. These specifications were used to support the concept development. The project’s result is based on utilizing two lift-units which can be integrated into the company's current jack designs with only a few modifications required. The lifting units' location and design gives the possibility of movement using both wheels or with aerostatic bearing. The result was further developed into a detail design phase. This phase considered manufacturing processes, environmental impact assessment, as well as design for assembly and disassembly. The thesis concludes with the majority of the detail design phase remaining, with a discussion of the project in general and recommendations for further development.

The dissertation thesis deals with the evaluation of the influence of the movements of the mechanization devices on soil compaction in grassed and cultivated vineyard between the lines after application of graded doses of organic matter (compost). This question was verified using penetrometer measurements. For the purpose of experimentation were selected in the vineyard region of South Moravia three experimental habitats with different soil conditions (Lednice, Velké Bílovice, Mikulov). In the autumn of 2013, the application of compost to the cultivated intercooler took place in doses of 5 and 10 kg.m-2. Penetrations measurements for each experimental site were carried out in four variants (grassed between the lines, cultivated between the lines, cultivated between the lines with application of 5 kg.m-2 and cultivated between the lines with application of 10 kg.m-2). Individual measurements were performed using a Eijelkamp penetrometer, which works at an accuracy of 99.9 % and its working depth is 800 mm. At the same time, soil samples were removed to determine the current soil moisture. Based on the measurements, high values of soil compaction were found for all monitored habitats. At the same time, the positive effect of the organic mass produced in the form of compost on the total soil compaction was demonstrated, which was 20 % lower in autumn 2016 than in the autumn of 2013. The worst was the period of spring 2014 and autumn 2015. The highest values of penetrometric resistance of the soil were measured from the rule for grassed between the lines. On the contrary, the lowest values were measured for the variant of the cultivated between the lines with the application of 10 kg.m-2. The parts of the dissertation are also the results of the evaluation of pressure transmissions using the TASC program and the results of the tire imprint.
