The thesis deals with the risk analysis in the administrative district of municipality with extended competence Horšovský Týn. Its aim is to analyse anthropogenic and biogenic hazards on the territory of the municipality with extended competence Horšovský Týn and to create a practical aid for mayors of municipalities for dealing with an emergency. The theoretical part defines the basic powers and duties of the municipal authorities in the field of security and crisis management. Furthermore, it defines the theoretical bases for the analysis of risks, especially the definitions of the concepts and the characteristics of the various available methods. In the practical part, a specific risk analysis for the area of the administrative district of the municipality with extended competence Horšovský Týn is carried out by expert assessment method. It includes a detailed characterization of the territory in terms of administrative distribution, demography, climatological and hydrological conditions, infrastructure, etc. Furthermore, the risk rates for individual events are then calculated and compared to each other. Based on the results of the analysis, the mayors of the municipalities are suggested of security measures. The risk analysis for the territory of the municipality with extended competence Horšovský Týn serves as a basic entry into the processes of emergency and crisis planning in this area. The methodical aid, which will be handed over to the mayors of individual municipalities, will contribute to the preparedness for dealing with extraordinary events and crisis situations in the territory of the municipality with extended jurisdiction Horšovský Týn. The thesis can serve as a teaching material in the field of public security.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to identify, propound, create and verify own educational models and aids usable for teaching physics. Models and aids are selected according to the Framework Educational Program for the second grade of elementary school. Models already created are verified and described, alternatively modified.

This diploma paper deals with the problems connected to sports massages. The aim of this work was to form didactical help, including a DVD which will be also used for sports massage trainings. The teoretical part briefly describes the history and development of classical and sports massages. There are defined types of sports massages, their incidence and effect. A special attention is also paid to basic hygienic code and restrictions of sports massages which are to be respected. This work futher analyses massages and describes basic rubbing touches and the procedure of overall sports massage. In addition, the work brings an outline of the make of the training film. For the practical part is enclosed a DVD film as a didactical help.

This master's thesis, "A comparison of selected submission diaries from 1890 ̶1950," provides a detailed and complex analysis of selected submission diaries. The objective of this study is to compare selected submission diaries in various types of institutions. Furthermore, it examines how the given submission diaries changed over time within these institutions, who recorded this information, and what information was considered important in certain periods. The research is based on a study of archives from the following selected years: 1898, 1908, 1928, 1938 and 1948. In order to achieve the aim of this thesis, it was necessary to visit the National Archives in Prague, State Regional Archives in Prague, Prague City Archives, State County Archives in Beroun, Charles University Archives and National Museum archives. The study comprises a detailed internal and external analysis of the individual books. Interest is taken not only in changes on the surface, such as bent page corners, but the key concerns also include, for example, observations on the usage of official stamps in the individual books. of the thesis:: The topic of the thesis are aids for teaching geometry at the primary school. The theoretical part presents the potential benefits of the teaching aids use in connection with the cognitive process of the pupil and the educational aims of geometry. The practical part focuses on the situation in schools, presents aids that are used, and how they are used. It is based on survey focused especially on primary school teachers. A separate chapter is devoted to aids which are used in Montessori schools. It features names of geometry aids and how they are used. In the last thesis part are formulated didactic principles for working with the teaching aids in geometry and two experiments showing possible aids usage. Aids in these experiments fulfill its purposes, which are mentioned in the theoretical part, and therefore their use has been beneficial.

The thesis deals with severe speech impairments, which require using assistive verbal devices as the means of everyday communication. Its main objective was to create an augmentive communication appplication for a mobile phone. The thesis specifies some severe communication disorders, mentions available communication applications for mobile phones and gives a description of developing and trial testing of the application. The appliaction is primarily intended for children of pre-school and younger school age who suffer from sever communication disorders. Its main purpose is to support the target groupe in communication with other people.

This work deals with a new approach of designing ortho-prosthetic devices in terms of mechanical solution and innovative design. The work was addressed to a specific patient with congenital malformation of upper limbs called phocomelia. A custom-made compensatory aid was made on basis of personal consultations and meetings on specialized workplace; however the aid was built in a way and from parts for other kind of disability. As it turned out, the use of this equipment is associated with many complications, and therefore as a result, this solution proved as unsatisfactory. Nevertheless, thanks to this compensation aid it was possible to specify the problems, to reveal important patterns and highlight the needs for development of entirely new and unique aid designed for patients with phocomelia disability. The work is based on these findings and knowledge acquired from bibliographic search in the field of orthotics, prosthetics, assistive devices and prosthetic equipment. A complete redesign was done with the aim to eliminate all detected problems. The presented result is a unique tool for people with specific congenital disability of upper limbs, with working label 4TE.

The diploma thesis focuses on the quality of life of seniors with hearing impairment. The thesis involves introduction into hearing impairment as well as its definition, occurrence and classification of hearing disorders. The etiology, diagnostics and hearing prosthetics are also included. The thesis also includes the issue of aging and the aging process, including social services and facilities for the elderly. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the quality of life, explains the established approaches, current models and methods of measurement. In the practical part of the thesis, a combined research was carried out. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews with hearing impaired seniors as well as through questionnaires with experts in the field of ENT and phoniatrics. The aim of this research was to find out in which specific areas of the quality of life have the seniors recognized the largest decrease. Research questions were focused, for example, on the ways elderly people with hearing impairment deal with this disorder, on the choice of compensatory aids and on the degree of integration into society in dependence on the hearing impairment. The diploma thesis focuses on support of teaching in chosen subjects in the second year of elementary school using interactive white boards with new technology SMART lab. It is focused on evaluation of publicly available interactive teaching portal applications, which occurre in high numbers, however they are obsoled or inappropriately created. Subsequently, the thesis includes a research which pays attention to the usage of the interactive white boards in chosen subjects in the second year of elementary schools located in Vysočina region. The main aim is to ascertain knowledge of teachers when using this technology. The examined subjects were chosen of the result of the questionnaire survey which was sent to teachers from the first grade of the elementary school.

This thesis called Haptic Model of the Monastery of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is composed of two parts, theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part is dealing with selected period of Christian monastery complexes history. There are also mentioned some of the significant events of Christian world, that indisputably have influenced developement of monastic structures. Later on there is described the historical developement of the Monastery of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in České Budějovice (Budweis). The last chapter focuses on issues of people with visual impairment. The practical part of this thesis is based on creating of haptic model of the Monastery of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in České Budějovice in approximate measuring scale 1:125, which is supposed to be used primarily by visually impaired as a haptic-tactile aid, so that they can create an ideal image of shape of the monastery complex.
