The objective of the Thesis is to coherently process the topic on grounds of a survey in order to provide utility value for relatives of a permanently or temporarily helpless senior. The theoretical part concentrated on presentation of suitable rehabilitation methods and techniques during stay in a traumatologic department, problems of a hospitalized senior, institutional provision of subsequent rehabilitation in available medical facilities, compensation aids and fall prevention. I have performed the survey on grounds of direct hidden observation, interview and experiment {--} use of a sign language in ergotherapy. Problems of hospitalized seniors are solution of subsequent care, unpreparedness for old-age, inconvenient housing due to barriers, associated diseases, worsened adaptation to stereotype changes (e.g. necessary change of compensation aids facilitating motion).

The eyesight is one the most important human senses which supplies us with 80% - 90% of information about the surrounding world. It?s loss or a serious damage brings big and fundamental changes into life of the affected person and his surroundings. The social rehabilitation constitutes a very important vehicle for the re-integration of the visually impaired persons through it?s fundamental methods which are the re-education and making compensations for the lost sight. The compensation devices alone have a paramount importance in the lives of people with the visual impairment. At the present time, the market offers a lot of optical, non-optical or electronic gadgets for the visual compensation. The guide dog presents itself as one of the best working compensation solutions in the field of the space - orientation and movement. The first documentation about training dogs that would help the blind come from around year 1780 from a Parisian hospital for the blind. The account of the first trained guide dog come from the 80s of the 18th century; a blind Viennese Josef Reisinger himself has trained a guide dog then. The first news about training guide dogs in Czech Republic come from the years 1922 - 1924. In Czech Republic the guide dog training as a compensation help for the blind or visually impaired people has been established in 1991. This work is oriented at mapping out the possibilities of the entry of a guide dog into public buildings (restaurants, health clinics, schools, public offices etc) and it?s further use for the free-time activities from the point of view of the guide dog owners and of the public. Further, this work deals with the statistics of the number and the territorial division of guide dogs in South Bohemia between the years 2008 - 2011. While looking for the experience of the guide dog owners with their entering public buildings and organizing free time together with their dog, the individual in-depth interviews, the data from the focus groups and experiments have been used. To learn the views of the interviewees about their use of the guide dogs in public places, all the documentation obtained from the subjects who trained the guide dogs, the fact sheets from the focus groups and the individual in-depth interviews have been analysed. To learn the views of the public about the guide dogs entering public buildings and their use for their free time activities printed questionnaires had been used. This work may be used as a basis for the argumentation in the forming of the uniform conditions in the guide dog training in presenting them and in forming the proper laws for using the guide dogs by their owners. This work also shows the possibilities in use of the guide dogs in their free time.

Title of the thesis: Specifics of the nursing care of patients with MRSA in the operating room from an anesthesiology nurse perspective. The aim of this thesis was to identify the specifics of nursing care of a patient with the MRSA in the operating room from the perspective of nurses working in the operating room. In the theoretical part focus is given to nursing care and its specifics for a patient with MRSA. Chapters relating to the regime measures, barrier nursing procedures and the use of specific aids, instruments and tools are treated in detail. The nursing care provided by anesthesia nurses and perioperative nurses in the operating room is defined. To reach the goals the quantitative research through questionnaires was chosen. The research sample consisted of anesthesia nurses and perioperative care nurses. Two types of standardized questionnaires were used, consisted of closed questions where respondents chose an appropriate answer, and from semi-open questions where respondents could specify their answers, and in one case open questions. Both questionnaires were completed by 12 test questions, where respondents had the choice of three possible answers, where one answer was correct. The results of the investigation are summarized in two types of graphs. Bar charts were used in questions where more answers were possible to mark, and for a better clarity the results were supplemented by tables. Results to other questions, where options were limited by one answer, are shown in percentages in pie graphs. Our thesis is very narrowly focused, because we concentrated on specifics of nursing care in a patient with MRSA in the operating room. We have determined the specifics of barrier nursing, nursing problems in a patient with MRSA in the operating room. We have discovered barrier nursing procedures in a patient with MRSA in the operating room. We have also succeeded in assessing the knowledge of nurses working in the operating room. The goal was met. An interesting finding was that most of anesthetic nurses and perioperative nurses had responded that the structural and technical arrangement in the operating room was not satisfactory in terms of barrier nursing of a patient with MRSA. This problem was expected, owing to the author´s experience in operating theaters. Thus Hypothesis 1 is confirmed. In total five hypotheses were stated, four of which were confirmed and one was disproved. The aim of the thesis was to draw attention to problems in the operating room during nursing a patient with MRSA. In the course of the research work there were no problems, however, it is necessary to mention the lack of literature on MRSA with regard to nursing care in operating theaters. The theoretical section of this thesis could be recommended as a resource for the education plan created on the basis of information collected and the results of this research. The results of the research survey may serve for general public, anesthesia and perioperative nurses who could benefit from the educational plan in practice while providing nursing care for a patient with MRSA.

This thesis deals with the process of creating a didactic material for students of the Year 7 in Czech secondary school. The thesis studies factors influencing the selection of titles and individual extracts of texts for students. It also focuses on creating tasks related to the texts. This process and its results is the outcome of the analysis of effective pedagogical documents and the number of selected readers. The aim of this thesis is to create a set of worksheets for students to help them study literature and develop their reading skills. Moreover, the worksheets should motivate students to read contemporary Czech literature for children even when out of the school. The final part of the thesis comments on each worksheet, focusing on the process of selecting individual extracts and providing possible ways of using this didactic material in lessons of literature. This thesis concerns the educational methods applied by teachers of kindergartens and where children with autism spectrum disorder are educated. In the theoretical part of the thesis autism spectrum disorders, their etiology, classification and diagnosis are described. Further there is a description of preschool education approches, to children with autism, and the system cooperation with other partners (SPC, teacher's assistants, parents, school). There are also listed different educational methods and tools used in the educational process. The research part in the form of a qualitative research is devoted to the most frequently methods and devices used and to the level of teacher's collaboration with the others for the healthy development of the child. Everything is viewed from the kindergarten teachers perspective. All teachers work in Prague, in the kindergarten and preschools where children with autism are educated.

TITLE: Development of phonemic hearing in kindergartens AUTHOR: Bc. Pavlina Matouskova DEPARTMENT: Department of Primary Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Ehler, Ph.D. ABSTRACT The basic prerequisite for coping with educational skills, especially reading, is sufficient development of phonemic hearing in kindergarten. The improvement of the level of phonetic- phonological grade at preschool children can be provided with suitable equipment and methodology for teachers. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of phonemic hearing at children in the last year of preschool education and the related creation of own model of activities and aids. The level of phonemic hearing was carried among children from selected kindergartens. One of them focused on the development of phonemic hearing and worked with the proposed model and in the rest of the kindergartens the prevention of speech therapy was held in accordance with school curricula. Initial analysis was done at the beginning of the school year and comparing of results was done in the second half. The conclusion is an objective assessment of effectiveness of proposed actions in the practice. (in English): The diploma thesis deals with the role of multimedia teaching aids in the teaching of students with special educational needs in the specific environment of the secondary schools of the Jedlička's Institute. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out, through pedagogical research, the use of multimedia learning aids and the attitudes of students and teachers to multimedia teaching aids in the process of teaching. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, which is primarily focused on teaching aids, the term "multimedia teaching aid", which is further worked at thesis, is defined. Practical part of the thesis is the pedagogical research at the secondary schools of Jedlička's Institute, starting points, results and evaluation.The research takes the form of a case study. The methods used are questionnire surveys, participated attendance at classes and interiews with students and teachers.

This thesis analyzes the current settings of occupational health and safety process regarding officers of the Municipal Police of Prague (MPP). The theoretical part provides situational analysis of conditions in which MPP operates. There are also defined key risks for personal safety of municipal policemen, identified methodology for risk management and quality control. The practical part describes and analyzes the process of occupational health and safety at MPP. The result of this work is evaluation of the current process effectiveness and proposal of possible scenarios of further improvement.

The diploma thesis is focused on so called new risks, which currently include the risks associated with various nanomaterials - their production, introduction into practice and use. The paper summarizes the up-to-date knowledge about the characteristics of nanoparticles used and it proposes a procedure to estimate potential consequences of their exposure. The experimental part of the paper is represented by a case study, which introduces the practical application of the proposed procedure aiming at estimated exposure to nanoparticles on the workplace where metal working is executed and resulting occupational risks. The aim of this part of the study was to measure selected parameters of aerosols using a special measuring system working on the principle of laser photometry combined with diffusion charger and detector using Faraday cage. The object of the measurements was to determine the numerical concentration of nanoparticles present in working environment and the representation of size groups of submicron particles. The measurement procedure was designed in accordance with ČSN EN 689, ČSN EN ISO 16000-1 and ČSN ISO 8756 standards and data gained were subsequently interpreted. Title: Evaluation of selected aids used in tennis training for children of early school age Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to assess the efficiency of gathered tennis aids used in tennis training for children of early school age (6-11 years). Methods: The selected methods for achieving the established goals are research of available literature and sources and their consequent analysis and synthesis. Results: A well-arranged description, classification and efficiency evaluation of tennis aids were created in this thesis based on the examination of available sources related to tennis A process of putting aids into the training plan according to the relevant principles was introduced. The result of this work is a classification of the selected tennis aids to aids for beginners, intermediate and advanced users based on their usage. The main criteria for putting the aids into training are age and sport level. It mostly depends on the experience of the trainer to put the aids in the training unit according to the sport training rules appropriately. Methods created based on the research of available literature are justified and analyzed in detail in the analytic- descriptive part of this work and its conclusion.
