LONGÍNOVÁ, Ilona January 2015 (has links)
Home and outpatient nursing care about children suffering cystic fibrosis Cystic fibrosis is a serious autosomally recessive disease in European population. The disease affects lungs and the digestive system. Complex medical procedures have started to develop recently which improve the prognosis. Surrounding factors are also very important age, infection, nutrition, quality of medical and nursing care and above all, quality of home nursing care. CF is treatable today, nevertheless even with maximum care, using all available methods and processes, which modern medicine offers, it is unfortunately not curable. The task for modern medicine is mainly to reduce problems caused by this disease and to prevent worsening the problems. Care about breathing tubes is very important, as well as good nutrition, repression of infection and inflammation and treating complications. Nursing care about a child suffering cystic fibrosis is a topic including many problems it includes medicine, mental and social aspects. Parents and a team of specialists from an ambulance of cystic fibrosis are very important and their role of taking care about a diseased child is irreplaceable. The specialists, using their professional knowledge, help the parents to take care about the child well and at the same time react positively to the child´s needs. Their role of educating the parents and whole family is also irreplaceable. The mother or parents need someone to demonstrate specialized care of the child and to be able to try it themselves. They need support. In case the mother or parents and medical staff manage to cooperate well, we can reach requested results and satisfaction can be found on both sides.

Důvody devalvace člověka zdravotnickým personálem / The reasons for the devaluation of human medical personnel.

SÍVKOVÁ, Ivona January 2015 (has links)
This thesis looks into reasons for devaluation of patient by medical staff. Main objective of the paper is to point at risk factors and summarize present knowledge about devaluation in hospitals. Devaluation manner is behavior, which decreases patient personality and his self-confidence, ignores his needs, opinions and requirements. Actually we had three main tasks in this thesis. To find out, if patients are more devaluated by mistakes in direct medical care and more specifically, if they are more often victims of denying taking care about their biological needs and if patients older than 60 years are more frequent devaluated than others. We focused on demarcation of single characteristics and aspects of this well known risk in behavior, mainly occurred by secondary medical staff. Essential knowledge of this topic are in the theoretical part, which assign attainment about devaluation and evaluation from other researches. Exploration survey was done by two methods. First was statistical research, in which medical staff answers about questions in non-standardized questionnaire. Outcome of this survey was making of tables and after their elaboration into column and sector graphs. Second research method was directed structured interview with hospitalized patients. For elaboration was used Q-methodology and answers of respondents were summarized into graphs. We had three hypotheses. H1: Hospitalized patients are more devaluated by mistakes in direct medical care than by badly interpreted communication. H2: If there are mistakes in direct medical care more often is devaluation by denying taking care about biological needs. H3: Devaluation is more problem of patients older than 60 years. Thank to research we know that hospitalized patients are not more devaluated by making mistakes in direct medical care. However if this mistakes appears denying of taking care about patient biological needs is more often type of devaluation. Third and last hypothesis didn't prove that patient older than 60 years are more frequently devaluated than others. Main benefits of this thesis are summary of knowledge about this behavior and deeper look into this problematic. Simultaneously findings that main devaluation in providing direct care is denying taking care about patient biological needs, which formulate in 1943 A. H. Maslow, is crucial. Legacy of this American psychologist is more than recent and shouldn't be ignored in today's medical practice. Overall thesis collects information from different Czech and foreign resources and completely and clearly describes risks and consequences of devaluation.

Miličková, Tereza January 2016 (has links)
This diploma work is focused on the research of students, who are attending secondary forestry (vocational) schools in The Czech Republic. The main goal was to find out the characteristics of current students at these schools and their motives to start studying exactly forestry. Another aim was to analyse the situation of secondary forestry schools, especially if the number match the need of labour market. For this purpuse, a questionnary survey was carried out among the students of 5 traditional secondary forestry schools (in Trutnov, in Zlutice, in Krivoklat, in Hranice and in Pisek), who are in their 2nd or 3rd year of Forest Mechanic on vocational school or in their 3rd or 4th year of Forestry on secondary school. Totaly 215 respondents answer the questionnary. The results clearly show, that the students still come from the countryside and are interested in the field of their study. However, they have no specific idea about their future work and only several of them arrange a job before they leave the school. Moreover the number of graduates, produced every year by the schools, several times outnumbered the need of labour market. On the other hand the number of students in vocational schools, not only in forestry, is slowly increasing every year. Therefore there is a possibility, that in the future lower job in forestry would be done more often by fully qualified workers.
