This diploma thesis deals with monitoring phosphorus content in watercourses of Veverka catchment area. The measurements were performed on six specific profiles during eleven-month period with intervals of 14 days. The analysis of samples was carried out at DALE laboratory using her equipment, namely the mineraliser -- Digital Reactor Block 200 (DRB 200), the spectrophotometer -- DR/4000. Simultaneously, pH, conductivity, temperature and dissolved oxygen levels were monitored in the field using portable device HQd HACH company. The water samples analysis indicates that Veverka catchment area is negatively affected by the increased concentrations of phosphorus. The main sources of phosporus are the waste-water treatments plants that causes water quality deterioration in catchment area. The agricultural activity has a marginal impact on water quality in terms of phosphorus.

The thesis "Study of small reservoir on the Radišovský potok" explores the possibility of building small reservoirs below the Radišov village. The introduction contains a general literature review of tackle. Furthermore, the natural conditions are described in the locality. The main section draws up the technical and biological solution of pond. It includes the results of soil analysis, a description of the technical design of the structure and individual object dimensioning and calculation of hydraulic flow capacity of individual objects. The appendix contains technical drawings of the pond. The economic balance and current funding opportunities for the construction are the part of thesis.

The thesis deals with the restoration design of three small water reservoirs in Zaječí stream valley. Present dams don't meet the requirements for water management and for their renovation the whole reconstruction has to be done. The main purpose is to restore ecological and hydrological functions of reservoirs with the impact on better water quality in Zaječí stream. With the restoration stable habitat with high ecological value and with the character of local biocentre will emerge. Recreational functions are demanded by developing new housing nearby. Restoration will be made by removing sediments, building new water engineering objects and by adjustment of present dam bodies. Dams will be equipped with the safety spillway.

This thesis "Suggestion study of erosion and flood protection measures in the catchment Mřenkového area" processing based on a field survey obtained information on the area of interest a draft study of erosion control measures in the sub-basin. The main part of thesis is based on calculations of factors of the universal equation to determine the long term average soil loss by water erosion according to Wischmeier and Smith. Calculations were made in the programs ArcGIS, USLE2D and LS converter. Based on the evaluation of endangerment of land by water erosion were designed erosion control steps according to the current conditions of farming. The thesis is supported by map documentation which is processed in the program ArcGIS.
