The master thesis is dealing with the consumer protection in air transport. The legislation is primarily stipulated in the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union regulation, to whom is dedicated the beggining of this thesis. In next step the study is devoted to operating irregulariarities followed by problems concerning luggage that could potentially occur during transportation. The end of the theoretical part is discussing the companies that assist passengers in receiving their compensations from air carriers if they are entitled to it. The second section is mainly analytical and it is supported by the theory from the first part of the thesis. Research is done within this part via method of questioning. The aim of the thesis is checking the awareness of passengers about their rights whilst using air transport. The thesis also contains subgoal which is a summary of a basic overview of consumer protection legislation. The conclusion is devoted towards proposals for addressing any identified deficiencies.

Diplomová práce se zabývá porušováním lidských práv ve válce proti terorismu, vedené USA, a sleduje vztah bezpečnosti a nutnosti dodržování lidských práv. Popisuje právní rámec lidských práv, možnosti zákonného omezení závazků ze smluv o lidských právech a vztah s mezinárodním humanitárním právem. Zkoumá stupeň dodržení právního rámce ze strany USA a podrobně se zabývá porušeními základních lidských práv ve válce proti terorismu, a to jak v zahraničním, tak i vnitrostátním prostředí USA.

The thesis deals with the analysis of exhaustion of trade mark rights, it focuses mainly on the comunnity-wide exhaustion. It is based mainly on the interpretation of the case law of the European Court of Justice which is used both to describe the creation and development of the principle and to help to evaluace its importace on the field of the common market and its practical conclusions. Appart from the community-wide exhaustion, big part of the thesis is represented with the global exhaustion whose possible introduction has been topic of many discussions.

The aim of this Master's Thesis is to explore, analyze and discuss of the role and position of the innovation policies' ecosystems, the role of incentives in general and particularly within the sphere of intellectual property rights (IPR). The paper consists of two key parts. Firstly, it discuss the role of innovation, justification of incentives and purpose of the IPR protection as the means of addressing market failures, which hinder the innovation process, especially for the small and medium enterprises. Secondly, analysis was conducted within the series of case studies, including Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, United States, China and India. The divergence of the list of countries should provide representative list of measures and incentives employed and utilized in various systems of Innovation governance. Overall findings are compared with the system in the Czech Republic in order to provide prospects for the potential adjustments.

The diploma thesis is entitled "Protection of a child as a subject of human rights within the scope of international and European Union regulation of international abductions" and deals with the position of a child within the legal norms governing human rights, children's rights and international child abductions. The thesis examines how a child is viewed, whereas as an object or as a subject of rights. The thesis is divided into three chapters, which gradually move from a general explanation of the basic concepts to the specific regulation of the child's position within the framework of international child abductions. The first chapter defines the basic concepts of the object and subject of human rights, generally analyses the position of a man as a subject of international human rights regulation and subsequently the position of a child as a specific category of human rights protection. Finally, the first chapter answers the question of how the concepts of object and subject of human rights differ. Song as an author's work and protection of its authors This diploma thesis deals with songs. Each of us listens to them on a daily basis, whether we turn on the radio or Internet TV, go shopping to the mall or directly to the live concert. All the songs have something in common - they are an author's work and we could never listen to them without their authors, who have certain rights for writing lyrics or composing music. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe what might interest each author of the song. In addition to copyright theory, the author analyzes the song as a separate type of author's work and maps the specifics that distinguish the authors of songs from other authors. The work also focuses on the current legislation dealing with the protection of authors' rights and analyzes in detail several of them, which the author of the thesis considers the most important or overlooked. This theoretical problem is introduced with the focus on legal qualification of female circumcision (FC/ FGM ) in international human rights protection. The study goes beyond the scope of international law and reaches cross-disciplinary analysis related to the African context and its cultural, political and social factors. This master thesis is focused on the topic of protection of personality rights with respect to media. The thesis presents national, European and international sources of law related to the protection of personality rights. The fundamental basis of the thesis is the Civil Code. However, the regulation of the personality rights protection is not limited to the Civil Code. Instead, it is entangled in numerous other law disciplines, e.g. the Criminal Law and the institute of defamation or the Media Law and the regulation of the right of reply. Out of the broad topic of the protection of personality rights, only a narrow section, i.e. the protection of the personality laws with respect to media, is taken into account. Besides an analysis of personality rights, an extended nomenclature description and a discussion of rightful and wrongful derogations of personality rights, a notable attention is also given to the problematics of public figures and to the comparison of the personality rights protection provided by the Civil Code to the individuals and to the legal entities.
