Vztah mezi vývojem makroekonomických ukazatelů a vývojem na kapitálovém trhu v ČR / The relationship between the Development of Macroeconomic Indicators and the Capital Market in CR

KLIMEŠOVÁ, Pavla January 2016 (has links)
This Master's thesis is focused on an assessment of development on the capital market in the Czech Republic in the context of development of macroeconomic indicators. There are used correlation and regression analyses which indicate power of relation between variables and determine regression models. These regression models are used to predict future values. There are a gross domestic product, an unemployment rate, a consumer price index, a national deficit, an exchange rate CZK/EUR and interest rates (2W repo rate, a discount, a Lombard rate and PRIBOR) used as independent variables. Representatives of the capital market are a stock market index PX and a 10-Years Bond Yield, which are dependent variables. There is also a mention of the existence of relation between the Czech and foreign development because of globalization.

Odsouzené ženy a jejich vztah k literatuře, čtení a knihám / Inmate women´s attitude towards literature, reading and books

KADLECOVÁ, Kateřina January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with convicted women´s attitude towards books, reading and literature. The goal of this thesis was to find out what kind of relation have chosen inmate women in prison in Světlá nad Sázavou towards literature and books. We also asked and responded the question, if insufficient or missing reading habits could be predictable factor of criminal behavior, because we think that insufficient reading habits and possibility to commit a crime could be somehow connected.

Prediktory čtenářského vývoje v kontextu rizika specifických poruch učení. / Predictors of reading skills development in the context of risk of specific learning disabilities.

PUDÍKOVÁ, Jana January 2014 (has links)
This thesis explores the possibilities of dyslexia prediction at primary children. It is divided into two parts a theoretical one and a practical one. The introduction of the theoretical part is focused on the children reading skills development. However, the possibilities of reading failure prediction and diagnosis of dyslexia are the key content of this part. In this respect I focus on the preschoolers and children at the beginning of the school attendance. I mention a few predictive batteries. The theoretical part is concluded with the current information about dyslexia prevalence in the Czech Republic and abroad. The practical part is based on the theoretical part. It contains the results of the research investigation. I got these results during the testing of morphological and phonological abilities as well as reading tests. The research was performed in the second class of primary school. The main objective of the thesis was to find out what is the relationship between performance in reading and morphological and phonological abilities. The test method of the quantitative investigation was used in this research.

Lymfocytární subpopulace, cytokinová produkce a transplantace kmenových buněk u pacientů s roztroušenou sklerózou / Lymphocyte subpopulations, cytokine production and stem cells transplantation in multiple sclerosis patients

Krasulová, Eva January 2013 (has links)
Multiple sclerosis (MS) represents a demyelinating disease of the central nervous system with known autoimmune etiology. Currently new diagnostic criteria are used allowing us to diagnose MS early after first relapse of clinical symptoms. Several drugs are available to reduce disease activity and postpone later MS stages with irreversible disability. Prognosis of an individual patient and accurate treatment is however defined only imperfectly based on our clinical experience and brain magnetic resonance imaging. Specific prognostic markers are missing. Aims: 1. To identify suitable prognostic immunological marker from peripheral blood of MS patients in different disease stages and under different treatment regimens; 2. To describe group of MS patients treated with autologous stem cells transplantation (ASCT) or allogeneic stem cells transplantation (alloSCT) with respect to efficacy, adverse events and accurate patient selection. Patients and methods: In the first part of the study we involved 33 patients with clinically isolated syndrome, 17 MS patients treated with natalizumab and 14 patients with aggressive MS treated with ASCT. Disability measured by Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) as well as relapse rate were evaluated before treatment (baseline) and after 3, 6, 12 and 24 months after...

Freiburský osobnostní dotazník a možnosti jeho využití u vězeňské populace / The Freiburg Personality Inventory and its use in the prison population

Volf, Petr January 2015 (has links)
The thesis aims to expand the possibilities for diagnosing sentenced persons by the Freiburg Personality Inventory, which appears to be in terms of penal custody as a useful tool. There is only one Slovak translation of this method from 1984 including standards for a population already existent state, its use is problematic past 20 years and unextended. In contrast, demand for updated diagnostic tools that are not too time-consuming and difficult to administrate, and which would also underwent scaling to a specific population sample, creates space for effective use of the FPI in penitentiary practice. The theoretical part contains introduction to the method, theoretical background and the basis of the FPI and its comparison with other instruments used for personality diagnostics, possibilities and limits of its use. At the same time it focuses on the specifics of the prison population, the description of the personality in terms of its structure and dynamics, and the possibility of diagnostics including the currently used diagnostic tools. It also includes a summary of intervention programs implemented in prisons of the Czech Republic. The main outputs of the empirical part are standards for prison population and a shortened, 47 item variant of FPI, while maintaining psychometric characteristics...

Predikce diabetes mellitus 1. typu pomocí expresního profilu periferních leukocytů / Prediction of type 1 diabetes mellitus by expression profile of peripheral leukocytes

Šornová, Veronika January 2016 (has links)
Background: Type of 1 diabetes (T1D) is an autoimmune disease in which the cells of immune system attack the β-cells of pancreas. Consequently, destroyed β-cells do not produce insulin to reduce blood sugar levels. This disease is very complex, the pathogenesis is contributed by both genetic factors and environmental factors. In recent years, the number of individuals with T1D is increasing worldwide. Aims: The aim of this thesis was to investigate whether it is possible to predict T1D based on the expression profile of BACH2, CDC20, IGLL3P, EIF3A and TXNDC5 genes , which are involved in the development of immune system cells and insulin production. Another aim was to compare the expression of selected genes in children, in which the first detection of the disease may be done, and adults who suffer from prolonged T1D. The final goal was to compare the expression of individual selected genes in the HLA risk alleles DR04, DR03, DQA*05:01 a DQB*03:02. Methods: The DNA and RNA of patients with T1D and healthy individuals was isolated from blood. DNA was used to HLA genotyped. Isolated RNA was reverse transcribed into cDNA and then used in real-time PCR to determine the relative levels of gene expression. Conclusion: Significant results were obtained when the expression of BACH2, CDC20 and TXNDC5 genes...

Hluboké neuronové sítě a jejich využití při zpracování ekonomických dat / Deep neural networks and their application for economic data processing

Witzany, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
Title: Deep neural networks and their application for economic data processing Author: Bc. Tomáš Witzany Department: Department of Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematical Logic Supervisor: Doc. RNDr. Iveta Mrázová, CSc., Department of Theoretical Com- puter Science and Mathematical Logic Abstract: Analysis of macroeconomic time-series is key for the informed decisions of national policy makers. Economic analysis has a rich history, however when considering modeling non-linear dependencies there are many unresolved issues in this field. One of the possible tools for time-series analysis are machine learn- ing methods. Of these methods, neural networks are one of the commonly used methods to model non-linear dependencies. This work studies different types of deep neural networks and their applicability for different analysis tasks, including GDP prediction and country classification. The studied models include multi- layered neural networks, LSTM networks, convolutional networks and Kohonen maps. Historical data of the macroeconomic development across over 190 differ- ent countries over the past fifty years is presented and analysed. This data is then used to train various models using the mentioned machine learning methods. To run the experiments we used the services of the computer center MetaCentrum....

Bankruptcy prediction models in the Czech economy: New specification using Bayesian model averaging and logistic regression on the latest data / Bankruptcy prediction models in the Czech economy: New specification using Bayesian model averaging and logistic regression on the latest data

Kolísko, Jiří January 2017 (has links)
The main objective of our research was to develop a new bankruptcy prediction model for the Czech economy. For that purpose we used the logistic regression and 150,000 financial statements collected for the 2002-2016 period. We defined 41 explanatory variables (25 financial ratios and 16 dummy variables) and used Bayesian model averaging to select the best set of explanatory variables. The resulting model has been estimated for three prediction horizons: one, two, and three years before bankruptcy, so that we could assess the changes in the importance of explanatory variables and models' prediction accuracy. To deal with high skew in our dataset due to small number of bankrupt firms, we applied over- and under- sampling methods on the train sample (80% of data). These methods proved to enhance our classifier's accuracy for all specifications and periods. The accuracy of our models has been evaluated by Receiver operating characteristics curves, Sensitivity-Specificity curves, and Precision-Recall curves. In comparison with models examined on similar data, our model performed very well. In addition, we have selected the most powerful predictors for short- and long-term horizons, which is potentially of high relevance for practice. Aplikace spotřební funkce na ČR / Application of consumption function on CR

Poncar, Jaroslav January 2017 (has links)
Consumer function is a standard instrument of quantitative economic analysis to examine the relationship between consumer expenditure and income or other influencing factors such as liquid assets, interest rates or various demographic and social factors. In this thesis are presented the most frequently used methods in econometric analysis of consumption function. Attention is paid to the hypothesis of absolute income, relative income, life cycle, permanent income, rational expectations and consumption function based on the error correction model. Furthermore, the suitability of individual models for the current economic situation in the Czech Republic is assessed. Subsequently an empirical model of consumption function for the Czech Republic is designed and tested. Furthermore, the estimates of each consumption function model for the period before and after economic crisis of 2008-2009 are performed and compared. Finally, a short-term prediction of the consumption of Czech households is made.
