Metody projekce úmrtnosti a riziko dlouhověkosti / Methods for mortality forecasting and longevity risk

Počerová, Veronika January 2013 (has links)
The main aim of this thesis is to analyse different mortality models regarding the longevity risk. We focus on the well-known stochastic models (Lee-Carter model, Age-period-cohort model by Renshaw and Haberman, Cairns-Blake-Dowd two-factor model) and compare them with relatively new Taiwanese model by Yang, Yue and Huang which is based on principal component analysis. Both the theoretical and also the empirical parts are included. Empirical part evaluates all the models mentioned above on the Czech mortality data from 1970-2000 for individuals aged between 50-100 years. Final mortality predictions are made for next 30 years.

Věková struktura obyvatelstva Jihočeského kraje a koncepce péče o staré občany / The population age structure of South Bohemia and the concept of social care for older people

BARTKOVÁ, Veronika January 2009 (has links)
The present work deals with the population age structure of South Bohemia in the years 1991 to 2007, with main focus on people over 65 years. In the introduction deals with the objectives and assumptions of work, literature searching and processing methodology. Other chapters deal with the analysis of population age structure and analysis of current capacity in social care for older people, specifically in homes for the elderly. It will identify areas with higher rates of the elderly population. The central part of the work is its own projection of population development of the South Bohemian Region and its districts until 2057, focusing on older people. The last chapter is devoted to forecast capacity needs of care facilities for older people in the medium term. Work is completed on the cartographic output, tables and graphs.

Důsledky stárnutí populace na potřeby služeb sociální péče / Consequences of ageing population for the needs of social care services

Šebík, Antonín January 2017 (has links)
This thesis is focused on problems of consequences of ageing population and the needs of social care services in terms of bed capacity in retirements homes and nursing homes. The aim of the thesis is to set a projection of bed capacity in these facilities at the level of individual regions and the whole Czech Republic by 2051. The dissertation presents three methods of calculating the future bed capacity which shows that the bed capacity will need to be significantly increased in future. The results found show that there are regional differences in the demographic structure within the Czech Republic at regional level which leads to a different intensity of demand for bed capacity.

Neúplné rodiny a domácnosti v České republice / One-parent families and households in the Czech republic

Jandová, Veronika January 2015 (has links)
The thesis handles the topic of families and households from the point of view of EU-SILC, Statistika rodinných účtů and also Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů, especially from the year 2011. It discribes kinds, types of families and households and what is possible on basis of gained information about each family and household see on national as well as international level. Another part of the thesis is focused on definition of poverty limit and it´s impact risks on particular family types mainly in Czech households. On the base of previous development, the future development tendency of number and structure of households and families is mentioned and is expressed by three projections concerning the household development.

Od 3D počítačového modelování k realitě a zpět / From computer 3D modelling to reality and back

Zdražil, Michal January 2021 (has links)
Technological advancements are faster than ever and on the frontier are applications and mechanisms entwined with 3D computer aided modelling, such as 3D printing, scan- ning and extended reality technologies. This work gives a peek behind the veil of mystery surrounding these technologies. We aim to give a brief look into each of the mentioned areas and let the reader experience them practically, mathematically and algorithmically in hope to bring these three so often separated views closer together and to the reader. 1

Interaktivní webové aplikace pro podporu výuky 3D počítačové grafiky / Interactive web applications supporting education of 3D graphics

Morávek, Jan January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on computer 3D graphics and the implementation of educational applications in JavaScript language. Discussed topics of computer graphics include object transformations, Bezier patches and the role of the camera in the scene. The thesis describes the basic theory of these areas and educational applications. The thesis also includes the detailed description of the features and the implementation of the created applications. In the end of the thesis possible extensions are discussed.

Augmented Reality in CAVE / Augmented Reality in CAVE

Kolčárek, Michal January 2013 (has links)

Projekce dat do scény / Projector camera cooperation

Walter, Viktor January 2016 (has links)
The focus of this thesis is the cooperation of cameras and projectors in projection of data into a scene. It describes the means and theory necessary to achieve such cooperation, and suggests tasks for demonstration. A part of this project is also a program capable of using a camera and a projector to obtain necessary parameters of these devices. The program can demonstrate the quality of this calibration by projecting a pattern onto an object according to its current pose, as well as reconstruct the shape of an object with structured light. The thesis also describes some challenges and observations from development and testing of the program.

Struktura populace a modelování jejích změn: Neolitická demografická tranzice ve střední Evropě. / Modelling population structure and their changes: Neolithic demographic transition in Central Europe.

Galeta, Patrik January 2011 (has links)
Neolithic dispersal in Europe has been alternatively explained through spread of farmers (migrationist position) or by adoption of farming by Mesolithic foragers (indigenist position). Mixed explanations have considered a combination of both processes. Neolithic dispersal in Central Europe was traditionally viewed as migrationist process. It was believed that farmers colonized the area and replaced indigenous foragers. During the last decade, authors have adhered to integrationist view as they have observed the continuity between Mesolithic and Neolithic technologies. Interestingly, the most recent genetic analyses again invoked the idea of colonization. Surprisingly, little attention has been paid to demographic modeling. The farming quickly spread in Central Europe between 5 600 and 5 400 calBC. Assuming colonization, Neolithic dispersal in Central Europe would have to be associated with high fertility rate of farmers. Our goal was to test whether the fertility rate of farmers was high enough to allow them to colonize Central Europe without admixture with local foragers. We produced four stochastic models of population dynamics of farmers during their colonization in Central Europe. The principle of Model 1-3 is based on methods of population projections. Model 4 stems from the wave of advance...

Demografický vývoj zemí Evropské Unie / The demographic development of the European Union

Dotlačilová, Petra January 2011 (has links)
The aim of this Master's thesis is to describe the past and future demographic development of selected EU countries. The second aim is to utilize methods for multicriteria evaluation of alternatives in the demography. The last aim is to describe methods used to extrapolate mortality curves. The theoretical part describes demographic indicators, methods used to extrapolate mortality curves and computational processes for methods for multicriteria evaluation of alternatives. The practical part includes the computation of demographic indicators and describes the progress of the indicators in the future. The methods for multicriteria evaluation of alternatives are used for ranking selected EU countries according to the demographic indicators. The last part of the thesis includes the application of methods used for extrapolating mortality curves and compares the achieved results with the actual progress.
