The thesis is focused on two chosen standards of project management such as IPMA and PMI. The document covers fundamental terms of connected with the topic of project management. There is also a description of both institutions including their history and structure. The comparison of both standards and their certifications according to chosen indicators is based on the analysis of above-mentioned theoretical background. The thesis is based on information contained in official IPMA and PMI materials.

This thesis deals with project management in the selected company LINET, which is dedicated mainly manufacturing and innovation hospital and nurturing beds. Concretely, this work is focused on the project life cycle development projects, thus on his phases. After analyzing current situation of project management in a company, is pointed to weaknesses with a proposal for improvement. Based on theoretical and practical knowledge is created a new proposal structure project phases and recommended a list of documentation, which the author has added several templates. Further are proposed responsibility matrix for each phase separately.

This thesis focuses on Project Risk Management in selected company. Attention is dedicated to the topic of Risk and its relation to the project Project. Risk is perceived in a broader perspective as a threat and an opportunity. The theoretical part also describes the process of risk management and related concepts. In the practical part the author describes the initial situation of Project Risk Management in selected company and proposes adequate methodology for Project Risk Management. The proposed methodology involves the optimal process of Project Risk Management, including all documentation and charts. The proposed methodology of Project Risk Management is applied to a particular project from the practice of the company.

The thesis focuses on the issue of Agile approach Scrum in IT project management, namely the description and analysis of the current state of Agile approaches in selected company and the subsequent drafting own proposals for improvement of the management of IT projects. A literature background review deals with the basic characteristics and rules of agile approach Scrum. In the practical part of the Thesis is introduced the company Juicymo s.r.o. After a brief description of the company, the current state of agile approach to IT project management is described and analyzed. The thesis primarily described in detail cases in which the management of the company differs from the definitions and rules of Scrum. The thesis also drawn up concrete proposals on how to improve the current state of management of the selected company.

The dissertation is focused on the economic management of the selected company. The first part contains theoretic information on economic management drawn from technical literature and other sources which are stated in the list of literature review at the end of the dissertation. The second part deals with a real company. This part brings basic information about the selected company and the planned investment scheme. In the chapters of the second part of the dissertation, there are methods used for rating the environment in which the pursued company works, financial state of the company, economic efficiency of the planned investment scheme, and the value of the company. The closing part offers some suggestion and recommendation of the implementation team, describes responsibility of the individual members, and gives some advice on the implementation of the planned investment scheme.

The thesis deals with project management with a closer focus on risk management in the selected company. First it was necessary to establish cooperation with the company. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. First I describe the approaches of existing methodologies using common professional literature in the theoretical part. Then in the practical part I start with characterizing the company. I study current state of project management that I determine on the basis of internal corporate methodology, my own observation, and interviews with the Head of Strategic Projects Unit. I also study the status of project risk management that I determine on the basis of my own observation, structured collection of information, and follow-up interviews with employees. After that I design Project Risk Maturity model in the company. At the end of my work I evaluate existing information and propose improvements: risk management methodology for the company.

The subject of this thesis is through the policies and principles of financial relations within an economic system to assess developments and to understand the interactions and characteristics of program funding within the Ministry of Defence.

This master thesis is focused on integration of the information system in chosen company. Master thesis describes the management processes that have been used before the information system was implemented and after the implementation. It also describes recommendations for making the processes more effective. The theoretical part of this thesis introduces the project management methodologies that are mostly used for the integration of the projects and infor-mation systems. The practical part describes the processes of the management that are used for ma-nagement of the projects before new information system is implemented. Last part describes the implementation of the information sytem and the possibilities to expand the system.

This thesis deals with certification of project managers according to the ICB standard, which focuses on the competence of the project manager. The theoretical part introduces the historical development and approaches to project management, basic concepts in project management and widespread standards and certification in project management. The practical part is devoted to detailed description of the version 3 and 4 of the ICB standard. Subsequently comparison of both versions according to selected criteria and on the basis of this comparison are evaluated strengths and weaknesses of each version. The conclusion is formulated to benefit ICB 4 for the practice of project management and is designed to possibly form the structure of the standard.
