Nesse sentido, a disserta??o em tela investigou e discutiu sobre os protestantes Batistas em Parnamirim-RN. Procurando interpretar e descrever esse grupo religioso e sua din?mica espacial, bem como perceber os caminhos de sua hist?ria, din?mica, territorialidade, gest?o, sistema, c?digo, rede, identidade e sonoridade, elementos estes que o grupo utiliza na constru??o de sua dimens?o espacial citadina. Com o intuito de atingir esse objetivo maior, procuramos compreender as estrat?gias territoriais, fazendo uma an?lise de sua dimens?o, sistema, uso de c?digos e elementos simb?licos apropriados pelo grupo religioso em Parnamirim-RN; bem como apresentar a suas rela??es de identidade, percep??o e sonoridade, acarretando estes novos elementos investigados em uma dimens?o espacial dos protestantes Batistas com formas materiais e imateriais. Para tanto, neste trabalho optou-se por uma pesquisa participante, historiogr?fica, na qual distintas estrat?gias investigativas foram adotadas na coleta de materiais, discursos, imagens, letras musicais analisadas, favorecendo o entendimento da problem?tica. Isso implicou na participa??o em cultos, eventos com v?rios registros fotogr?ficos, produ??o de mapas, gr?ficos, organogramas a respeito dos protestantes Batistas na afirma??o de sua dimens?o espacial. Sendo assim, o resultado indica que as pr?ticas dos protestantes Batistas no territ?rio apresenta a??es repletas de diversas estrat?gias fazendo com que se torne poss?vel desvendar as trajet?rias e dimens?es espaciais dos protestantes Batistas na cidade de Parnamirim-RN. / This dissertation was the challenge and desire to develop a product arising from readings, dialogues, research and observations regarding the relationship between religion and geographical science, in the figure of the Baptist Protestant and churches in Parnamirim-RN, in understanding their spatial dimension. In this sense, the screen in research investigated and discussed Baptists Protestants in Parnamirim-RN. Looking interpret and describe this religious group and its spatial dynamics and understand the paths of its history, dynamics, territoriality, management, system, code, network, identity and sound, elements which the group uses to build its spatial dimension city . In order to achieve this greater goal, we seek to understand the territorial strategies by making an analysis of its size, system, use of codes and symbolic elements appropriated by religious group in Parnamirim-RN, as well as present their identity relations, perception and sound, bringing these new elements investigated in a spatial dimension of Baptists Protestants with tangible and intangible forms. Therefore, this work was chosen by a participant research, historiography, in which various investigative strategies were adopted in collecting materials, speeches, images, analyzed musical letters, favoring the understanding of the problem. This involved participation in cults, events with various photographic records, production of maps, graphs, charts about the Baptists Protestants in affirmation of their spatial dimension. Thus, the result indicates that the practices of Baptists Protestants in the territory presents actions filled with various strategies making make it possible to unravel the paths and spatial dimensions of Baptists Protestants in the city of Parnamirim-RN.
