The potential importance of the genetic etiology is pointed by innumerable studious and disclosed in family history. The Clinic of Invasive Upheavals of the Development of the University Prebisteriana Mackenzie come developing research in the area, become necessary the systematization of a protocol of evaluation of family history. In this study it will be carried through the translation of the protocol of Study of the Family s History of Autism of the University of California and posterior application in the TID-MACK. In conclusion to the gotten results, it can be observed that great part of the questions contained in the protocol is contemplated in other studies that investigate the family history of individuals with TID. However, had the extension of the questions and some similarities, an adaptation for it s becomes better necessary utilization. / Os Transtornos Invasivos do Desenvolvimento são caracterizados por anormalidades qualitativas graves e abrangentes, manifestadas nas áreas de interação social, comunicação e comportamentos repetitivos e estereotipados. A potencial importância da etiologia genética é apontada por inúmeros estudiosos e revelada na história familiar. A Clínica de Transtornos Invasivos do Desenvolvimento da Universidade Prebisteriana Mackenzie (TID-MACK) vem desenvolvendo pesquisas na área, se tornado necessária à sistematização de um protocolo de avaliação da história familiar. Neste estudo foi realizada a tradução do protocolo de Estudo da História Familiar de Autismo da Universidade da Califórnia e posterior aplicada em 4 famílias de 5 sujeitos atendidos na Clínica TID-MACK. Em conclusão aos resultados obtidos, pode-se observar que grande parte das questões contidas no protocolo estão contempladas em outros estudos que investigam a história familiar de indivíduos com TID. Porém, devido à extensão das questões e algumas semelhanças, faz-se necessário uma adaptação para o seu melhor aproveitamento.
