The chapter titled Present state focuses on the problem of gerontology and geriatrics. Other chapters include description of the most outstanding neuropsychical and somatic changes in the old-age. Next chapters deal with functional examine and geriatric rehabilitation problem.The objective of the thesis was assessing the extent of self-reliance and psychical changes affecting all the occupants of using Crichton Geriatric Rating Scale.146 seniors were tested according to the Crichton Geriatric Rating Scale.Three hypotheses were stated. It was expected that the results of the Crichton tests would correlate with the results of MiniMental Test. Another hypothesis was that there would be better results of the test done to the people whose family care for them actively. The last hypothesis expected worse results of the people who have been in the retirement home for more than three years.The research has confirmed that the results of the Chrichton test and MiniMental test correlate. Correlation of the Crichton test with the active care and interest of the family for the senior and the length of their stay was not proved.

1 ABSTRACT The diploma thesis, "Specifics of education of children from a children's home" has a theoretical and empirical character and it is focused on the education of primary school pupils who are placed in a children's home. The first, theoretical part, gathers expert knowledge related to the social and legal protection of children and selected cases where the rights of the child are not respected. It describes institutions operating in institutional and protective education, which are under control of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. It captures the negative effects of institutional education on the child. In the context of inclusive education, it characterizes a pupil from an orphanage as an endangered child with special educational needs. The purpose of the theoretical part was to describe, on the basis of professional literature, the most common obstacles that a pupil from a children's home encounters (or may face) during education and what are their causes. The thesis deals with the relation between psychological safety at work and the burnout syndrome among social workers providing social or integration services to persons granted international protection. The structure of the main text part of the thesis is divided into the theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part mostly deals with the definition of psychological safety at work, burnout syndrome and specifics of social work with persons granted international protection. In the empirical part are researched data, gathered from the quantitative survey conducted at the turn of 2020 and 2021, analyzed using the statistical data analysis. A total sum of 52 social workers, providing social or integration services for persons granted international protection in the Czech Republic, participated in the research. To create data the survey consisting of the introductory survey focusing on the attribution data, scale to measure psychological safety and survey Maslach Burnout Inventory measuring the burnout level in three dimensions of the burnout syndrome which are emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment was used. The work titled "Rank of caring persons in the context of the social services law" analyses the situation of caring persons during the care. The work follows the question of discrimination and social-economic exclusion of caring persons in the Czech Republic on the basis of executed research analyse. The rank of caring persons is not legally embedded in any legal regulation. However, this results into the fact, that there is neither range of duties nor the law or social benefits in the case of sickness, and the old age pension scheme is very limited, too. This work brings suggestions of measures and solutions of these problems so that family and intergeneration solidarity and rules of subsidiarity would be supported, and at the same time the social and economic discrimination of caring persons in the Czech Republic.

The main theme of this thesis is to find out the reasons which leads different people to enter the fitness centres. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to a brief history of fitness and fitness centres, then the main focus is on the reasons of people to decide to go to a fintess centre. The key words are explained there. Lastly, the system of primary methods while using diagnosis equipment before a person enters a fitness centre is explained. The second part deals with finding out the actual reasons of various people for entering a fitness centre through the method of survey.

This paper deals with the impact of prematurely canceled foster care on a deve-lopment of a child. It gives an overview of the system of care of endangered children in the Czech Republic. It also presents the current legislation which is the basis of the surrogate family care in the Czech Republic. In 2013, an amendment of the Social and Legal Protection of Children law came into force, which the legislators built up on the experi-ence with professional foster care in Slovakia. Its goal is to reduce the number of chil-dren in children's institutions. The paper further includes a thorough analysis of develo-pmental needs of a child. Foster parents have to accept the fact, that they decided to take in a child with an unfulfilled attachment bond. Premature cancellation of foster care can bear witness to the fact that a foster family cannot create an attachment bond to the child and does not provide a sufficient amount of support for its development. The pa-per takes into consideration the dangers the juveniles are challenged with as a result of an unsuccessful foster care. Based on the interviews with many directors of children's homes in the South Bohemian region, negative impact of the canceled foster care on children has been noted. New questions suitable for further research in this region have emerged out of the interviews. Host care is one of the possibilities to provide children with a family educational model in children's home. The directors agree that it is the first-rate personality of a foster parent that is crucial for a first-rate foster care, i.e. a foster parent who can open her- or himself to the child and grant him or her his or her own family affectionate environment. The problem of unsuccessful foster care can be minimized only by genuine acceptance of a child and unconditional love for him or her.

In my investigation I concentrate specifically on cases of children from three children{\crq}s homes in Italy and Czech republic (Casa del bambino PIO XII., private children{\crq}s home Marketa and Church children{\crq}s home Emanuel). In these homes they use preventative bahaviour system founded by Don Giovanni Bosco who was the Italian priest and educator who lived in the 19 century and he founded the work which was dedicated to the poor young people without their home in Turin.The intention of Don Giovanni Bosco was to help to give the right direction to young people.This system has three basic pillars which are reason, kidness and religion. His system demands from the educator constant presence with the children and education with the example of yourself.The preventative behaviour system of Salesiani and its tradition is worth attention for the the prevention of social {--} pathological phenomena.

The aim of this work is to describe hagiotherapy as a suitable psychoterapic method for work with psychological difficulties of workers in helping professions. The first chapter is dedicated to the hagiotherapy description, its development, selected philosophical solutions, its procedure and targeted groups in which the hagiotherapy is applied. The second chapter is dedicated to psychical difficulties of workers in helping professions and is focused on the following phenomena: helper syndrome, power in helping professions, burnout syndrome. The third chapter reveals the authorś assumptions, the reasons why she considers the hagiotherapy a suitable supporting means for workers in helping professions. In the fourth chapter an illustrative investigation is presented which is supposed to answer the question: What impact did the hagiotherapy have in the life of worker in helping professions? This question was answered by the participants of the illustrative investigation, who are workers in helping professions and completed hagiotherapy trainings. For the analysis of their answers in the illustrative investigation the elements of grounded theory were used.
