This master's thesis contains an analysis of the Maxprogres, s.r.o. company based on account statements and information given by the firm. It is focusing on an overall review of the firm standing and tries to assess it's internal situation and the environment as well. The theoretical base, which antecedes the whole analysis, clarifies the significance of the particular analysis and describes the way of their completion.

The main objective of this diploma thesis is the application of selected methods of financial analysis to a selected company. Assessment of its current financial situation and outline the company's strategy. The theoretical part are described the findings of the financial analysis, ie. different methodological approaches, including elementary strategic models. The practical part deals with evaluating the financial aspects of the company for the period 2008-2011 using selected methods and procedures mentioned in the theoretical part. The part of financial analysis is a partial investigation of the external and internal surroundings of the company.

This master’s thesis deals with the company analysis by applying different methods whose purpose is to obtain information and comprehensive view of company from different perspectives. Theoretical basis of the analysis and also the theoretical concepts are explained. It contains my own suggestions and recommendations to support further company development.

The selected methods evaluate external and internal environment as well as the financial situation of company. The result of the thesis is the identification of recommendations and suggestions for improvement economic situation of the company.

The thesis is a description of external and internal environment of company. Based on an evaluation of each analysis, proposals for improvement in the company are also provided.

Using external analysis the author identified, opportunities and threats, based on internal analysis strengths and weaknesses of the company are identified. By identifying these facts Author has made suggestions and recommendations to improve this businesses performance.

The object of this master´s thesis is to analyse economic situation in the chosen company, which is providing technologies for energetic and automation. The external and internal structure is gradually analyzed. The result of the thesis is the identification of suggestions and recommendations for improvement of the state.

This master´s thesis deals with evaluation of financial situation of the company CECHO - BOHUMIL CEMPÍREK s.r.o. in years 2007 - 2011 using selected indicators of financial analysis. The thesis is divided into four basic parts. In the first part there are defined problems and objective of thesis. In the second part there are formulated all necessary theoretical knowledge, which are practically used for the calculation of financial indicators in part three. In the last part of this thesis there is evaluation of the financial situation of the company based on results of the financial analysis, including the preparation of proposals for its improvement.
