In what ways did they deal with the religious, whether there was a natural accommodation or if these impacts, extrapolated the expectations of a dominant religious ideology, overcoming what is intended in religious discourse, going beyond rites and behaviors. Through the reading of each religious time, to verify their contributions in the structuring and re-signification of the life of the quilombolas, the way in each religious phase this construction of the identity is legitimized, and, it is incorporated, contributing to the development of a collective identity. To see whether the religious face of Protestantism in the present day represents the face of the identity for which they wish to be recognized and whether it would be the result of a reflective capacity or just a reproduction of religious discourse. Above all, what factors contributed to the incorporation of Protestantism and its permanence in the life and history of this quilombo, as part of its social restructuring and significant advances in the quality of life and in the dreams of the future. / O presente trabalho, busca refletir sobre os impactos da religião na construção da identidade dos quilombolas do Mel da Pedreira em Macapá/AP, passando pelas experiências religiosas vividas por eles como comunidade, em suas diversas fases, desde às práticas mágicas, catolicismo até o protestantismo. De que forma eles lidaram com o religioso, se houve uma acomodação natural ou se esses impactos, extrapolaram as expectativas de uma ideologia religiosa dominante, superando o que se pretende no discurso religioso, indo além de ritos e comportamentos. Através da leitura de cada tempo religioso, verificar suas contribuições na estruturação e ressignificação da vida dos quilombolas, a forma como em cada fase religiosa essa construção da identidade se legitima, e, passa a ser incorporada, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento de uma identidade coletiva. Constatar se a face religiosa do protestantismo nos dias atuais, representa a face da identidade pela qual eles desejam ser reconhecidos e se a mesma seria o resultado de uma capacidade reflexiva ou apenas uma reprodução do discurso religioso. Sobretudo, quais os fatores que contribuíram para a incorporação do protestantismo e sua permanência na vida e na história desse quilombo, fazendo parte de sua reestruturação social e avanços significativos na qualidade de vida e nos sonhos em relação ao futuro.
