Silniční okruh kolem Prahy / Prague Ring Road

Kühnel, David January 2008 (has links)
Prague ring road is one of the most important constructions of Prague and Central Bohemia. When completed, it will become one of routes with the heaviest traffic in the Czech Republic. In my thesis I deal with the past, present and future of Prague ring road. I have mentioned its individual parts as well as its links to urban circuit. The main focus is on the most problematic part of the circuit, namely the northwestern segment.

Ekodukty Pražského okruhu a jejich pedogeografické apekty / Ecoducts of the Prague ring road and their pedogeographical aspects

Čánská, Kristýna January 2016 (has links)
The construction of new roads has many negative consequences for the environment, among others also increasing of the fragmentation of landscapes. One of the precautions to reduce the impact of these negative consequences for the environment is the construction of ecoducts. The question is whether the currently built ecoducts in the Czech Republic are functioning and whether the funds spent to reduce the negative impacts of road constructions are spent effectively. This thesis discusses the ecoducts of the Prague road ring. At the end of 2015, there were already completed seven ecoducts at the whole road ring. Their dimensional characteristics were ascertained by measuring, the soil on ecodusts was compared with the soil on the immediate surroundings and the assessment of the condition of the vegetation on the ecodustc was done. The results suggest that ecoducts the Prague road ring have many drawbacks and their efficiency is reduced due to their inappropriate solution.

Dopravně-inženýrská opatření na ul. Svatoplukově v Brně / Traffic Organizing of Svatoplukova Street in Brno

Bátora, Filip Unknown Date (has links)
The main goal of my diploma thesis is the design of transport-engineering measures on the Svatoplukova street with the focus on the finalization of the Great Brno ring road and the following changes of traffic intensity. For the implementation and simulation of my designed measures, I used the PTV Vissim modeling software. The simulation outputs were then evaluated and transformed into recommendations to be taken into consideration during the creation of future traffic-engineering measures in the given area.

RING! - Dostavba městského okruhu v Brně / RING! - Completion of the Ring Road in Brno

Líšková, Marianna January 2013 (has links)
Area of interest is located next to the ring road of Brno and between Koliště, Cejl, Vlhká and Křenová streets. Main prerequisites for the design were moving of the railway station to the „Južné centrum“ and at the same time keeping the original path of the viaduct running through the area. This allows to change the function and create a pedestrian and cycling path . It was necessary to create a new profile of the ring road, 30 m wide, and keep the character of the street by using adequate scale to the buildings. According to these conditions, office buildings from 6 to 8 storeys high with comercial use in the ground floor were designed to increase the atractivness of the promenade. The block of office buildings is integrated with a Visual arts centre, which is located at the connection of viaduct and the ring road and closes the block structure. Mass of the object decreases from the ring road to create a system of terraces available from interior, and public spaces available from the ground level and viaduct. Creating a public space on viaduct allowes us to connect the building with it. Decreasing of the mass and two level public spaces divides the object to two wings. The first wing includes the Visual arts center itself, with its exhibiton spaces, library and management and the other wing hosts offices and studios for young artists.

RING! - dostavba městského okruhu v Brně / RING! - Completion of the Ring Road in Brno

Chomjaková, Zuzana January 2013 (has links)
The new urban structure is based on a moving out of the railway and bus station. These parcels are used as public places. It is a new large city park and underground two-storey parking house. All is opened to the street Koliště by new retail spaces. The old structure of a viaduct is preserved in part from 19th Century. The viaduct has a new direction and connection with a city centre. It is a new pedestrian corridor for citizens and residents of blocks of flats connected with that line in the same level. The Six-storey office buildings are playing role of a sound isolation for these living areas. The theme of diploma thesis is one urban block consisted of a two parts. One part is office buildings and the second one is blocks of flats. It is retail and parking on the first floor. The entrance of this new part of the city is accented by the tower of luxury flats with magnificent view on the city panorama and two large roof terraces. The entrance level inside of the block is raised to the line of the viaduct. Two floors under this level are designed for a parking. This green area serves for residents of flats and their free time activities.

RING! - Dostavba městského okruhu v Brně / RING! - Completion of the Ring Road in Brno

Hodálová, Lenka January 2013 (has links)
The area of town part called Ring is situateted in Brno surrounded by Cejl, Křenová, Vlhká and Kolište Street. The main aim of the urban design is to provide the complete rehabilitation of the urban structure. The incompletely and accidentally arranged build- up area with many sandlots should be replaced with the traditional compact blocks which enable the create streets, boulevards, roads, green belts and a new piazetta. This design divides the border between private and public space. It counts with the replacement of the railway and bus station. There is designed the urban block with the dominance of the building function between the Cejl and Vlhká Street in the close neighborhood of old Edison factory. Another part of this block is created by the group of public buildings- Sport centre and Art school. There is also a hotel and an administrative building connecting few magistracies in the one place. The sport centre is divided into seven storeys respecting the fact that some storeys are 9 metres high if it requires the character of the sport space. There is a volume suitable for the basketball hall which can be reached from the entrance or from the second level. There one can found fitness centre, rehabilitation and relax centre, indoor golf, badminton, climbing wall, space for aerobic or zumba on the next floors. There is a restaurant offering the unique view on the town on the top of the building. The roof of the basketball hall is green with the minigolf. The essential component of the design is façade with blinds which enables the dynamically changing appearance of the building.

La ville et sa rocade : un projet d'infrastructure au risque du temps long : le cas de Marseille / The city and its bypass : a transport projet at risk from long time : the case of Marseille (France)

Leheis-Guillot, Stéphanie 30 September 2011 (has links)
The by-passes, ring roags and other beltways are quite frequent in the urban road network. Most of the cities want their by-pass, considered as a magic ring to reduce the congestion in the city-centre. but at the same time, only few of them are equipped with a complete ring, and the infrastructure is also highly criticized. In Marseille, the L2 bypass story line is symptomatic of this ambiguous relation between the city and its bypass. This study case reveals at the same time the project continuity (in the plans since more than 80 years), and its changes (from the circular boulevard to the integrated urban highway). Through the analysis of this project, our work answers a double ambition. The first one is to interrogate the dynamics of interaction between infrastructure and territory over the long time, taking the hypothesis that the project, examined in its temporal evolution, will give us to see these dynamics. We will rebuild the story of the by-pass object, its genesis and its evolutions, taking into consideration jointly the transformations of the city and of the roadway system. The second one is to contribute to a better comprehension of the development processes of the transport infrastructures. By focusing our research on the transformations of the project, we will show the strategies of development elaborated to adapt the project to the dynamics of co-evolution city/roadway, and their limits which are due to the failures of a flexible planning
