Plšek, J. Risk Analysis in Software Projects. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2020. This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a web application whose aim is to try to make small start-ups available for risk analysis for their IT projects. Users must first register and then check their current status after identifying potential risks.

Diploma thesis is focused on risk management. The first part of this paper provides the necessary theoretical frame of risk management and project management. The theoretical research is followed with a brief summary of actual methodics of risk management in projects funded through operational programmes within the selected organization, which is Mendel University, the science and research department in particular. The author then proposes a recommended scope of methology of risk management to be used within the selected organization.

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na rizika při řízení projektů financovaných ze strukturálních fondů EU. V teoretické části jsou popsány hlavní současné metody, postupy, principy a jednotlivé kroky v procesu managementu rizik vhodné pro identifikaci a kvantifikaci projektových rizik s důrazem na standardy PMI a IPMA a metody vhodné pro analýzu rizik. V praktické a analytické části diplomová práce hodnotí řízení projektů a jejich rizik v konkrétní instituci. Doporučuje nejlépe využitelné metody pro realizaci projektů a zavedení vlastních metod řízení rizik.

The thesis deals with the risk management in Motortec s.r.o., a company that operates in the field of sales and maintenance service of passenger and commercial vehicles. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part, in which all the essential terms are defined that relate to the thesis itself, and an analytical part that employs the process of risk management. The process includes identification, analysis and subsequent remedies to risks identified. The identification of risks has been carried out using Porter's five forces analysis, SLEPT analysis and McKinsey 7S Framework. SWOT analysis has been carried out subsequently. The risks defined have been assessed using a scoring method and grouped into categories based on their severity. The last part includes measures to reduce the major risks that threaten the examined company.

Risk management in company AT CAR, s.r.o. with focus on its branch Brno is the main topic of this thesis. As for the risk management itself, the most important tasks are identification, analysis and reducing the possible risks. These processes are described and discussed in the theoretical part of the thesis, while it also introduces all important terms related to this topic. In the analytical part, the risks are identified using appropriate methods such as SLEPTE analysis, Porter’s Five Forces and 7S model. The risks identified are thereafter evaluated using the scoring method. In the last part, recommendations and measures for reducing the risk are presented.

This thesis deals with the safety of engraving machine. The main contribution of this thesis is the detailed implementation of the risk assessment according to valid standards. Further detailed design of measures to meet all safety requirements. Part of this thesis is familiarity with the machine and its current state and the procedure of risk analysis. Another part is the risk assessment. Conclusion of this thesis includes the documentation and ES certificate of conformity.
