This thesis focuses on the education of secondary school pupils who are socially disadvantaged. It presents the phenomenon of social disadvantage in the context of education and current legislation. It also describes the current situation and the causes of social disadvantage, particularly the role of the family, and also focuses on pupils and their families from socially excluded localities. A significant amount of space is dedicated to descriptions of the manifestations of social disadvantage in school, the diagnosis of social disadvantage, and the specific education of socially disadvantaged pupils, especially the principles of such education. The goals of this thesis are to demonstrate the effect of social disadvantage on secondary school pupils and to highlight possible solutions to this phenomenon within the education system, the possibilities for support in education, and the role of the school social worker in eliminating the impacts of social disadvantage in education. The thesis also contains case histories of socially disadvantaged female pupils as a demonstration of the professional and important work of the school social worker. The thesis aims on complex description of environmental features of ZŠ Hostýnská school ground and evaluating its using for teaching biology. In theoretic part the importance of school grounds for educating is introduced, history of school gardens and current state of their using is described. Next part is focused on current using of school ground and description of its environment. Floristic investigation made by author in 2014-2015 is included. In frequent visits author found and determinated 117 species of vascular plants, which is a sign of relatively high biodiversity. Finally using of school ground is compared with school book and key competences. Plans and suggestions for future improvements are given. Five work sheets with methodic suggestions are included.

This diploma thesis presents monographic study that deals with the autonomy of schools in the context of the idea of the Waldorf School and philosophical convictions of its founder Rudolf Steiner. The content itself brings a particular identification, analysis and description of the basic principles of Steiner's ideas of Social Threefolding. For better grip and insights into this topic in the introductory chapters with the concept of autonomy as the general context, and given directly to the school autonomy. Further insight on school administration and local government and various school systems in the European area. The work also includes historical and political context of the time of different directions of reform pedagogy 19th and 20th century, which proved, among other things, as one of the key conditions for understanding the concept of free Waldorf school Rudolf Steiner and the conditions under which it was created. The diploma thesis raises the question of how to live differently and suggests living in the Swiss city of Lausanne. The master plan contains the basic parameters, 5,500 inhabitants, 3,000 jobs, 550,000 m2 of gross floor area. Housing is in the neighborhood of the elementary school, the design of which is thus part of the assignment. Thinking about buildings is in connection with modern standards of ecological construction. The design is based on an analysis of the environment and architectural and urban considerations about how to live well and healthily. The development of the project is shown from the concept, to a more detailed solution of the facades.

The thesis Between Picture and Word,The Life and Work of Viktor Pivovarov explores the life and art of one of the leading personalities of Russian unofficial art. Viktor Pivovarov is considered one of the founders of The Moscow Conceptual School. He has been living and working in Prague, Czech Republic since 1982. His works are represented in major world collections, e.g. in The Tate Gallery in London, Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, in The Tretyakov State Gallery in Moscow, The Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg and The National Gallery in Prague. The thesis is divided into three parts: 1) Life, time, contexts, 2) Work and 3) Timeline. The first part covers the artist's biography, the period context and the so-called unofficial Russian art of the 1950s- 70s. It also deals with his influence on the Czech cultural scene. The second part analyzes selected works by Pivovarov and tries to present an overall characterization of his art. It also attempts to place his work in the Russian, Czech and the West art contexts. The third part, the timeline, focuses on the important dates in Pivovarov's life and work and on crucial political and cultural events.

TITLE: Truancy and school attendance rejection at high school ABSTRACT: Risky behavior among adolescents is a serious society-wide phenomenon. In this context was carried the first research of medical high schools in Karlovy Vary region in school year 2007/2008 which was generally focused on all kinds of risky behavior. From this research have come out, besides others, that 30.80 % of students committed truancy. This work is focused on the issue of truancy and school attendance rejection based on the increasing tendency of truancy. The theoretical part defines truancy, its causes, diagnosis, consequences, intervention and legislative of this issue. Truancy and school attendance rejection for pupils in the 1st and 4th grade at Medical High School in Karlovy Vary analysis, evaluation of related factors influencing truancy and school attendance rejection and comparison of the obtained results was the purpose of the research part. The information from own anonymous questionnaires completed by 180 respondents were used in the practical part. Data analysis confirmed high and still growing number of truants among Medical High School in Karlovy Vary. Background: School prevention programs of risky behavior should be an important part of the education of children and adolescents. The programs are implemented by each school individually according to the elaborated Minimum Preventive Program (MPP) and their mediation and implementation is supervised by the school prevention methodologist (ŠMP). Within the Prague 6 City District, there is close cooperation between ŠMP, the prevention methodologist from the pedagogical- psychological counseling center and the drug coordinator. The aim of this cooperation is to ensure quality of prevention in local schools and in the wider community of the municipality. Objectives: The aim of the study is to map the process of implementation of programs of general school primary prevention of risky behavior in primary schools in the administrative district of Prague 6 in terms of performance of the function of the ŠMP, elaboration of MPP and implementation of preventive programs. Methods: A mixed-method design was used, combining a questionnaire study with ŠMP from the district of Prague 6 with a group discussion with six respondents who participated in the questionnaire study.
