Castaway : Nätverksspel till Swedish Game Awards / Castaway : Network Game Entry for Swedish Game Awards

Riahi, Jemil January 2014 (has links)
It is described in this report how to develop a network that can be used in different network games. How to prevent clients that is cheating and try to achieve a secure network that regular clients to the game should not be affected too much from. In ten weeks a network is developed that represents the foundation of a network game. A very simple game with a network structure that prevents cheating.

Prístupy ku konsolidácii programovej a dátovej základne webového serveru Techno.cz / Approaches to consolidating data base and source code base of the Techno.cz webserver

Stankay, Michal January 2008 (has links)
In this diploma thesis, I conduct a research into approaches to consolidating data base and source code base of the Techno.cz webserver, which is the subject of the consolidation. By consolidation I mean bringing the server into the state where documentation is produced according to given requirements, data base is changed in order to improve data structure and consistency and source code base is reorganised in order to unify source code upon one platform, improve file system organization and remove problematic characteristics of the source code in general. The goals of this thesis are to create and describe general process of consolidation, sequence and contents of its steps; to describe contents of consolidation in given areas: documentation, data base and source code base; to describe actual steps made to achieve the final state of the server. My approach to accomplishing these goals is the study of relevant literature and usage of my practical experience in the field of web development. My contribution to the topic is the creation of the general consolidation process that has a potential to be reused by similar projects. Another contribution may be the description of handling the risks and problems that emerged during the consolidation process. This topic may find itself as a valuable source of knowledge for fellow developers facing similar issues. The thesis is divided into eight chapters. After the introduction chapter 2 follows. Chapter 2 describes parameters of the Techno.cz webserver. Chapter 3 discusses software engineering methodologies in order to create suitable consolidation process. Chapter 4, 5, 6 discuss particular fields of consolidation: documentation, data base and source code. In chapter 7 I am trying to assess suitability of created processes and approaches for usage in future development. In the conclusion I summarize the thesis according to required structure.

Internet věcí v praxi / The Internet of Things in Practice

Bajgl, Vojtěch January 2018 (has links)
The subject of this diploma thesis, is the Internet of Things, and its use in applied practice, with a subsequent design of a custom system of smart home automatization. It acquaints the reader with the issues of automated home and smart systems, including a basic familiarization of regulations as declared by law about electronic devices. The attributes of miniature computer platforms, developmental boards, and wireless modules for the design of custom systems are analyzed and compared. The biggest part of the thesis is dedicated to a design of a custom system, specifically designing the central processing module and other controlling modules for controlling various electric home appliances. The main controlling unit of the system is a Raspberry Pi 2B unit, with which it is possible to control a device in a household through an user-friendly web application.

Nativní aplikace pro mobilní zařízení / Native Application for Mobile Devices

Beníčková, Zuzana January 2018 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the universal mobile client-server application of Android and iOS devices solved in the native environment of the given operating systems. The work explores approaches to solving the problem in both environments. The application solution will display, store and process a variety of data sent to the server in a unified form as well as customize the look given the conditions addressed conditions and equipment. The aim of the thesis is to show and compare the native potential of the mobile device as well as to design a unified application of frequently asked issues - to view and access a large amount of stored data to the user.

Výpočty v Cloudu / Cloud computing

Bräuer, Jonáš January 2019 (has links)

Straka, Ivan January 2019 (has links)
The thesis deals with server monitoring, focusing on the server logs and storage devices in the form of modules into the KNOTIS information system. An administrator is warned of unusual activities or possible disk failures that may lead to data loss. It describes automatic data collection, data processing and user interface that is developed in the web environment and allows you to set different server monitoring parameters. SMART technology has been used to obtain the status of disk units. The thesis works with the use of disk arrays and LVM technology. It monitors also the most important server logs, such as auth.log, syslog, kern.log and apache's log files.

Univerzální linuxový server pro malé a střední firmy umožňující jednoduchý dohled nad sítí / Universal linux server for small and medium companies enabling simple network control

Juřena, Stanislav January 2008 (has links)
The main object of this thesis was to design a computer network for small and medium companies which will be made among others from network server providing simple network control. The next task was to provide internet connection to subscribers of local area network, their security and access to common services. There had been discussed the choice of distribution of Linux operation system with regarding to demanded services, stability and long lasting operation in theoretical part. One part of the work is a theoretic preliminary to separate services, to the purpose of their using and to their weaknesses. The practical part deals with an installation and configuration of Debian operating system, launching the base services and the setting of selected monitoring programs.
