The master thesis deals with the issue of a single-wheeled robot, especially its construction and movement in more difficult terrain with the possibility of collecting samples. A variant of the robot balanced by a pair of gyroscopes was chosen as the most suitable construction. The robot is able to move in a space with an inclination of up to 24° and is equipped with its own manipulator design.

This thesis, as a part of the overall project to determine general methodology for calculating lost profits, deals with technical and economic data of trucks, cost analysis and quantification of lost profits after an accident and subsequent mending. It focuses on vehicles with a total weight of over 12 tons. The thesis and its results are beneficial for the experts and forensic engineering experts who, based on documents can more easily determine a methodology for calculating lost profits. It simplifies and accelerates the settlement of claims for loss of profits and payments.

This thesis focuses on the design of the hexacopter construction for photographic purposes with maximum load of 4 kg. When constructing a hexacopter it is necessary to take into account a number of factors. For the actual construction the correct dimensioning of the supporting frame is important as well as the locomotor system. The main concept of this thesis includes three-axis gimbal for camera control. The verification of the structure strength was performed using FEM analysis. This work describes also the selection of individual components and their wiring. The end is dedicated to safety and different procedures for reducing operation risks.

The Diploma thesis is engaged in the modelling of business processes, focusing on their design. Especially processes in area of providing support and customer care. The main goal of the thesis is application modelling method for selected business processes in a particular company engaged in telecommunications services. The theoretical part is focused on processes, process management and standards for the business process modelling. In the practical part are then described selected processes related to ABC satellite television services. These processes are designed by selected methodology. Under the proposed processes that take place after activation are calculated costs of operation the process (financial, human resources). These costs are calculated to the time when it is expected to 200,000 customers of ABC satellite television. Summary of costs is in evaluating the proposal.

This diploma thesis is a practical excursion into the organization of controls in a particular shared service centre. The work deals with the company relation to the section 302 and 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley Act and describes the company's internal control system according to the COSO "Integrated framework - Internal control" issued in 1992. More detailed description is provided within the company's fraud risk assessment process and within yearly testing process of control activities in order to meet section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The specifics of external audit when performing audit in shared service centre, the shared service centre influence to foreign accounting entities from internal control system perspective are the other topics taken in consideration. Finally, there are highlighted benefits of automated system for processing travelling expenses in relation to the COSO "Integrated framework - Internal control" issued in 1992 and in relation to necessary assurances requested by U.S. SEC for the purpose of preparing financial statements under U.S. GAAP. The company's relation to anti-corruption laws (such as the FCPA) intersect in the analytical section, whose purpose is to find internal control gaps in the department processing travel reports in terms of their content and process.

The thesis, entitled "Analysis of safety in transport and servicing of transport facilities for the selected companies" deals with safety and work-related injuries in transportation and servicing of transport facilities. Occupational injury is caused by a set of several interacting factors. These factors are known as the main source and cause of work-related accidents, which affect the formation of accidents. The most important element in the protection of health and safety is prevention. To evaluate the risks is one of the fundamental principles of the concept of occupational health and safety policy that is enforced in all countries espousing the principles of safe enterprise. The need to protect the health of the individual is already firmly established even in the most basic legal document such as the Constitution of the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to analyze the factors that are involved in causing accidents at work and on the basis of the analysis, to provide rules and recommendations for farms so that they serve as an aid in the elimination of induced injuries.

The aim of the thesis is to design, create and evaluate a user interface for control of service robot. I will focus on controlling of robotic arm, to be able to accomplish pick and place tasks. Specifically I will work with robotic platform PR2. The thesis describes different devices for sensing and perception of a user and usage of information from these devices to control robotic arm. Moreover, different methods for controlling of robotic arm are described there. Application design and implementation is presented further in this thesis together with description of the experiments used for evaluation of application.

The goal of this paper is to identify four types of voluntary failure by L. M. Salamone in Czech public-serving non-governmental organizations (NGO's) and to determine extend of their display by studying of the development of one particular organization and presence and dynamics of these failures. The paper is a case study of the NGO spolek Naděje which mostly works in the field of social services across the area of the Czech Republic. This organization is examined by predefined indicators which were chosen for all four types of voluntary failure. These are philanthropic insufficiency, philanthropic particularism, philanthropic paternalism and philanthropic amateurism. The paper consists of five parts. The theoretical part introduces the key concepts and theories for this paper, fundamental definitions of the civil sector, theory of the state and market failure, a role of the civil sector and brief characteristics of public-serving NGO's. Last but not least there are described four types of voluntary failure of Salamone. The next part presents the methodology of the study for which it was chosen strategy of the research, i.e. case study of one public-serving NGO, and research indicators. The master’s thesis processes project documentation for construction of Truck service, i.e. object for service and maintenance of trucks with built-in administrative part, situated in Letohrad. The proposed building is a onestorey hall, built-in floors are designed in the administrative part and auxiliary operating areas. The main entrance to the building with income for customers is located in the administrative part. Most of the first floor has a service hall with associated workshops and truck wash space. The supporting structure of the building is designed prefabricated reinforced concrete skeleton with continuous columns and girders mounted on short column brackets. The cladding of the service hall is designed with sandwich panels. The cladding of the administrative part is made of Ytong filler masonry. The facade of the administrative part is designed as ventilated. The horizontal load-bearing structures are assembled from Spiroll prestressed reinforced concrete ceiling panels. The roof is designed as typical for hall buildings, i.e. it is flat single-skinned roof with behind attica gutters and between roofs gutters formed by valleys falling down to the roof drains by spreading wedges.

This thesis focuses on prices, quality & risks of the Facility management. In the theoretical part there are explained points referring to the Facility management, it’s contributions, ways of securing them, important fields and it’s targets. Also individual levels of cooperation and the job description of the management. There is also a mention of an important standardization, of which the Facility management couldn’t function without. Also the example of service contract and lastly, a very important chapter is dedicated to the quality of work provision and Facility management services. The practical part of this thesis is the case study based on a questionnaire of how to support services of the two different subjects, hotels and construction companies. The case study also describes the cost of these services, ways of controlling the quality provided and contracts with appointed workers. The result of this thesis is a detailed description of potential risks which can appear in the individual type of services. There is a suggested optimization for all the risks mentioned.
