Orientador: César Donizetti Pereira Leite / Banca: Silvio Gallo / Banca: Dirce Djanira Pacheco Zan / Resumo: O presente trabalho resulta de discussões em torno das relações entre o silêncio, como forma de linguagem, a experiência, sob a ótica benjaminiana e, os processos de violência que permeiam a sociedade e, em particular, os adolescentes. A partir das reflexões em torno da violência, tendo em vista os modos de anulação e de constituição de experiência como modo de vida e produção de sentidos, e vislumbrando o silêncio como uma possibilidade de significar, experimentar e manifestar a violência se constituiu como objetivo deste trabalho: discutir o silêncio e a experiência como formas de produção de sentidos, buscando suas relações com os modos de manifestação da violência. Como instrumento específico, para que a metodologia percorresse seu caminho, utilizamos um dos meios de comunicação de massa, o cinema. Durante o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, aventamos as possibilidades de olhares circularem por entre movimentos que desencadearam outros olhares, pistas e vestígios, nos guiando através do Paradigma Indiciário e possibilitando aberturas de produção de sentidos, de caminhos e descaminhos metodológicos, que apresentaram diferentes olhares sobre o percurso da pesquisa. Dessa forma, pensamos essa pesquisa enquanto processo, enquanto caminho, enquanto experiência. Não nos concentramos em interpretações que se encerrem apenas em um sentido, pelo contrário, nos esmeramos em permitir o olhar que vislumbra múltiplos sentidos, possibilitando que o produto da pesquisa também se torne veículo de transmissão de outros e novos conhecimentos / Abstract: This work is the result of discussions about the relations between the silence, as a form of language, the experience, in the Benjaminian perspective, and the violence process that permeate the society and, in specific, the teens. From reflections around the violence, in view of the annulment' modes and the experience constitution of as a way of life and senses' production, and visualizing the silence as a possibility of the to signify, to try, and to express the violence is the objective of this work: discuss the silence and the experience as forms of senses' production, seeking its relations with the modes of violence expression. As specific instrument, so that the methodology sprinting your path, employed one of the mass' media, the cinema. During the research development, occurred the possibilities of the looks be spread around the movements that unleash other looks, tracks and traces, guiding us through the Ginsburg's Indiciary Paradigm and enabling production senses overture, the methodological paths or not paths, who presented different looks on the research trajectory. Através de um diálogo teórico-reflexivo tenta caracterizar a experiência do silêncio como elemento presente na vida do ser humano e, portanto, também nas entrelinhas do acontecer educativo, e analisar a arte como possibilidade de uma experiência estética transformadora, acontecimento de silêncio. Assim sendo, as experiências do silêncio e da arte podem mediar uma educação capaz de dar um sentido outro à prática educativa na medida em que oferecem elementos de transformação. Para tanto, aborda o significado da experiência, suas relações com a subjetividade e sua dimensão como acontecimento que nos surpreende e nos dá o que pensar. Trata das práticas ascéticas dos estoicos onde o silêncio, dentre outras, é considerado um dos exercícios necessários à ―constituição de um saber sobre o mundo como experiência espiritual do sujeito‖ e como ―constituição do sujeito como fim último para si mesmo, através e pelo exercício da verdade‖. A seguir, aborda o silêncio como elemento constitutivo do ser, morada do homem, um dos espaços onde podemos fazer experiência. Em se tratando de arte, esse espaço é o inumano de nós, onde o gesto deixa rasto despertando o sentimento sublime, desejo do inexprimível e do indizível, universo dos juízos estéticos / Abstract: This thesis is about the problem of the lack of silence and its consequences in the society today. Through refletive and theoretical dialogue attempts to characterize the experience of silence as an element in the lives of human beings, and therefore also in the implied sense of the educative happening, and to check the possibility of using art as a transformative aesthetic experience, an event of silence. So, the experience of silence and art can both be an arbiter of an education that is able to give another sense to the educative practice as they offer other elements of transformation. To achieve this, it broaches the meaning of the experience, its relationship with subjectivity and its dimension as a happening that surprises and make us to think. It deals with the ascetic practices from stoic people where the silence, among other things, is considered to be one of the practices needed for the ―constitution of a knowledge about the world as a spiritual experience of a person‖ and for the ―constitution of a person as an ultimate end to himself through and for the exercise of the truth‖. In the sequence, it approaches the silence as a constitutive element of the human being, the inner part of the man, one of the areas we can exert this experience. In terms of art, this area is the inhuman part of ourselves, where the gesture can leave traces to awake our sublime feelings, longing for something one cannot express nor state, the universe of aesthetic appraisal / Doutor
