Hledání australské identity - základní autorská motivace Patricka Whitea / Seeking the Australian identity - the essential motivation of Patrick White

DAMCOVÁ, Lenka January 2007 (has links)
This paper aims at an analysis of major themes in Patrick White's novels with special attention given to the awareness of Australian identity as the chief motif in The Tree of Man, Voss, The Eye of the Storm, A Fringe of Leaves, and The Vivisector. No less important is the study into the autobiographical inspiration behind White's characters.

Trestněprávní problematika dříve vysloveného přání / Criminal Law Issues Related to Advance Directives

Blažík, Michael January 2016 (has links)
Criminal law issues related to Advance directives Abstract The aim of this thesis is to describe the recent institute of Advance directives in the Czech legal system and to analyze criminal law issues related with it's aplication. The focus is on medical workers which can get into jeopardy of criminal liability by respecting the Advance directives. Furthermore in this thesis are compared the legislations of Czech republic and the Australian state Queensland conserning Advance directives. Also, key rullings of Australian courts and other common law courts related to the aplicaton of Advance directives are described in this thesis. Descreption methods were aplied to describe each institute and terms close to it, analyzing methods to analyze liability of medical workers and comparative methods to compare the Czech and Queensland legislations. The thesis is divided into seven chapters and many subchapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the institute of Advance directives, to it's definition, history and to the legislations it is based in. The second chapter describes fundamental human rights related to Advance directives. These are the Right to Life, Right to dignity and the Right to self- determination. Every one of these rights is closely described and a subchapter deals with their collisions. The third...

Rodinné podnikání / Family business

Prchalová, Lenka January 2009 (has links)
The thesis deals with the phenomenon of "Family business". The first part involves theory aimed at the global importance of family businesses, their specifics, definition, strong and weak sides and potential difficulties. The process of succession and its strategy is described in more detailed way enabling future success of family businesses. The second part shows analyses of Czech family companies. There is a comparison with German family companies which might serve for some improvement of the Czech family entrepreneurs. At the end of this thesis, there are three case studies of three Czech family companies. On the basis of their analysis is provided a recommendation of potential solutions of their problematic areas.

Strategická analýza podniku / Strategic Analysis of an Enterprise

Kopřivová, Jana January 2008 (has links)
First part of my work deals with strategy, strategic management, strategic analysis and describes individual analysis. The practical part begins with the company presentation. In the practical part were used analysis such as PEST analysis, "4C" analysis , Porter's 5F model, analysis of enterprise resources or financial analysis. At the end of my work are shown conclusions and recommendations for company.

Silné srážky ve středně vysokých pohořích střední Evropy: Porovnávací studie Vogéz a Krušných hor / Extreme precipitation in low mountain ranges in Central Europe: a comparative study between the Vosges and the Ore mountains

Minářová, Jana January 2017 (has links)
of the doctoral dissertation Extreme precipitation is related to flooding which is one of the most frequent natural hazards in Central Europe. Detailed understanding of extreme precipitation is the precondition for an efficient risk management and more precise projections of precipitation, which include uncertainties, especially at regional scale. The thesis focuses on extreme precipitation in the Ore Mountains (OM) and the Vosges Mountains (VG); two low mountain ranges in Central Europe experiencing orographic effect on precipitation. Based on state of the art about precipitation in OM and VG, a currently missing analysis of the temporal distribution of precipitation in VG was needed prior to the analysis of extremes. The original dataset of daily precipitation totals from 14 weather stations used in the initial study was extended to 168 stations covering a broader area of VG. The study of temporal distribution of precipitation during 1960-2013 led to a classification of stations: (i) mountainous stations with winter maxima and highest mean annual totals due to orographic enhancement of precipitation, (ii) stations on leeward slopes with two maxima (summer and winter), (iii) lee side stations with summer maxima and lowest mean annual totals due to rain shadow and more continental character, and...

Elektronová struktura a magnetické vlastnosti materiálů se silně korelovanými elektrony / Electronic structure and magnetic properties of the materials with strong electron-electron correlation

Kozub, Agnieszka Lidia January 2018 (has links)
In this thesis, we summarize the material-specific theories of strongly correlated systems and apply them to selected materials. We describe and apply the corre- lated band theory methods: the local density approximation plus Coulomb U, and the density functional theory plus exact diagonalization of single impurity An- derson model. First, we investigate the systems containing impurity atoms: cobalt impurity located in the bulk copper and samarium, and neodymium adatoms on the surface of graphene. We present the spectral densities and study the magnetism of those compounds. Afterwards, we analyze three Np-based compounds: NpPt2In7, Np2Ni17 and NpBC. For all three compounds we analyze the spin, orbital and to- tal magnetic moments and the total density of states, as well as its projections for selected orbitals and spins. Moreover, for NpPt2In7 and NpBC we perform the to- tal energy analysis between different magnetic moment arrangements on the Np atoms.

Zajištění bezpečnosti online platebních služeb / Ensuring security of online payment services

Havlíková, Nikola January 2019 (has links)
Ensuring security of online payment services Abstract The thesis is devoted to the topic of ensuring security of online payment services, especially in the context of identification and authentication of the client in the Internet when performing acts related to the provision of payment services. The issue of the customer identity is described especially in the context of know your customer principle governed by legal regulation in the area of combating money laundering and financing of terrorism, and in the context of the obligation to carry out a strong customer authentication (SCA) brought by the PSD2 directive and related RTS. The aim of the thesis is to describe and critically evaluate the legislation in the area of ensuring security of online payment services, meaning the binding legislation, soft law and rules created by entities operating on the payment services market. In this context, the thesis also deals with the question of proportionality of legislation in connection to the positive user experience and the possibility of implementing innovative FinTech solutions. The thesis is divided into four chapters, supplemented by introduction to the respective subject matter and conclusion summarizing the observations made in the thesis. The first chapter is devoted to the general definition of the...

Parametry uspořádání tříflavourové chirální symetrie z ππ rozptylu / Order parameters of three-flavour chiral symmetry from ππ scattering

Říha, Jaroslav January 2021 (has links)
This thesis familiarizes the reader with the process behind the construction of ππ scattering amplitudes. Several representations and transformations nec- essary to pass from one to another are introduced. Then known solutions of Roy equations are employed to extract values of subthreshold parameters αππ and βππ from recent experimental data. As a second goal three-flavour chiral perturbation theory(χPT), which is a low energy effective field theory of quan- tum chromodynamics, is used to obtain theoretical predictions for αππ and βππ by applying a technique called resummed approach. A large statistical ensemble of predictions is numerically generated. Subsequently, Bayesian statistics is uti- lized to get more information about spontaneous symmetry breaking parameters X(3), Y (3), Z(3), which are related to the leading order low energy coupling constants of three-flavour χPT. These results are then compared to several other recent determinations. Significant shifts in probability distributions compared to Descotes-Genon et al. [2004] are observed. The new results are more consistent with theoretical expectations. 1 Bibliography S. Descotes-Genon, N. H. Fuchs, L. Girlanda, and J. Stern.
