The Diploma Thesis seeks to evaluate key markets of the SKODA Auto company in terms of purchasing and supply possibilities. It analyzes both Skoda's external and internal environments and assesses current conditions in their key foreign supply market. Furthermore, it describes the purchasing process, methods of localization of suppliers, as well as possible methods of evaluation of Skoda's suppliers. The Thesis should provide the reader with an overview of current trends and opportunities in Skoda's supplier market.

This master’s thesis is dedicated to Side Impact Crash Tests Measurement in company Skoda Auto a.s.. Thesis describes measuring chain devices of Crash Test Laboratory, and also transferring and assessment process of crash record. Main part of Thesis describes eligible acceleration transducer attachment to B-Pillar of a vehicle.

The object of this work is the development of business regulation Skoda factory from 1859, representing the company's own foundation in 1946, when it was nationalized. In the context of this development work also deals with economic and social aspects that influenced the nature of this business. Research will focus on legal standards and their implementation in the Skoda factory. The analysis of most of the legislation under which developed the legal form of the company should show a benefit or adverse effect on the positive development of the company.

The aim of this Master Thesis is to analyze using the system of plans and budgets in a steering of sales department in the company SKODA AUTO a.s. In the theoretical part are basically defined terms plans and budgets and also analyzed different point of views of scientific and professional public on using system of plans and budgets in business management. Then are characterized the basic approaches to budgeting and described in detail the proscedure of establishing the budget. In the practical part is described the analysis of using system of plans and budgets on example of SKODA AUTO a.s. company, during which obtained theoretical knowledge were applied. The analysis revealed a weakness in the steering of sales department and have been proposed the measures, aiming to eliminace this weekness.

The Diploma thesis deals with the methods of analysis of corporate indicators and their use in the context of preventive Risk management for company Skoda Auto a.s.. Based on the performed analysis is optimized current process and are proposed new corporate indicators in the context of preventive Risk management.

This thesis is concerned with an evaluation of a role of financial and managerial accounting in the management of financial performance. From the range of criterions, that indicate the development of performance, the profit was chosen. The basic approach of the thesis is the concept of financial performance in the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP). The diction of U.S. GAAP is compared with the text of International Accounting Standards / International Financial Reporting Standards (IAS / IFRS) and the Czech accounting legislation. In addition, the thesis deals with the concept of financial performance and its role in the performance management system. In conclusion, the theoretical background is confronted with its practical application. The comparison is made with the assistance of the example of financial performance management in the company Škoda Auto, a.s.

The purpose of my diploma thesis is to figure out the value of company SKODA AUTO, a. s. for the large foreign investor. The valuation will be carried out using DCF entity method, MVA method and market comparable approach by method of comparable companies. Valuation will be made to 30 9th 2013. This thesis is able to serves for the broader professional community for evaluating of the effectiveness of managing of one of the strategic Czech companies by the large foreign investor. The valuation contains financial and market analysis of the company, financial plan and value drivers of SKODA AUTO a. s.

This diploma thesis deals with the strategic analysis of Skoda Auto a. s. and its current strategy. Also, it deals with verifying of given hypotheses to effectively determine the future operational strategy. The first part is the theoretical and methodological, which explains the key concepts of strategic analysis of a company. It's followed by the practical part, which translates the theory of strategic analysis into the practice, analyzes modern trends and via the synthesis method it achieves the objective of this thesis: to specify strategic recommendations for Skoda Auto and to verify the hypotheses specified in the beginning.

The thesis deals with the search of the current sequential gearboxes and the structural shift of the Škoda Felicia 1.6 MPI synchronous transmission to the manual sequential gearbox. Based on the assignment, the schematic reconstruction principle is included. This principle i s then elaborated into a detailed design and the thesis focuses on strength analysis of newly created parts of reconstruction, optimization of these parts and control of their fatigue life. The thesis ends with the theoretical continuation of mechanical conversion to a fully electronic sequential gearbox.

The aim of the master’s thesis is a design of double casing condensing steam turbine with gearbox, reheat and with power output 110 MW for solar power station. The steam turbine has an axial output to the air cooled condenser. The design of the turbine is developed on the basis of concept of Doosan Skoda Power company. It is the main reason this turbine has the impulse blading. There are heat calculation and calculation of heat balance diagram in the first part of the thesis. The system of regeneration consist of three Low Pressure Feedwater Heaters (L.P. FWH), deaerator, and two High Pressure Feedwater Heaters (H.P. FWH). The next part of the thesis is focused on a flow path section of turbine. There is a selection of profile of turbine blades at this part, too. The basic design and strength calculation are available only for high-speed high pressure (HP) part of turbine, as an assignment of the thesis says. There is heat balance diagram for 75 % of nominal power output at the end of thesis. The drawing of longitudinal section of HP part of turbine is the main appendix of this thesis.
