Förutsättningar för en framgångsrik skrivundervisning i svenska på gymnasiet och högstadiet : En litteraturstudie

Nilsson, Oscar January 2021 (has links)
The art and rules of traditional writing created by earlier generations is not always easy for the youth of today to understand and see the meaning of. Writing a Twitterpost or sending an SMS message seems to be the most common writing skills needed outside of the school buildings. The questions that this study seeks to answer is what kind of problems are connected to improving the students writing skills on the Swedish high school levels and how these problems can be solved? The focus of modern day Swedish language teaching has been removed from grammar and spelling to instead be focused on the content of the text. Writing an interesting story is more important than using the right grammar or spelling it correctly. The result shows that one of the main reasons for the writing deterioration is the lack of writing and grammar teaching. Many students have problems because of this when entering the university level where it´s taken for granted that the student knows the basic rules of writing and spelling. Some authors referred to in this study simply suggest that we go back to a writing correctly focused teaching again, but that is not the only thing suggested. The problem simply does not have just one solution but a diversity of different methods needs to work together to come up with the wished for result of a successful reading and writing education in the school of today.
