The thesis deals with selected risk groups of unemployed in Moravian-Silesian region in the years 2006 to 2015. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to unemployment and individual risk groups, time series and characteristics of the Region. Own work is focused on the analysis of unemployment in the Czech Republic, Moravian-Silesian region and analysis of high-risk groups of people with reduced working capacity, a group of women and persons caring for children under 15 years of age, risk group of people over the age of 55 years and at risk groups of people according to educational structure. Predictions for the next development period is treated the choice of methods of time series. The analysis is drawn from the available data from the Czech Statistical Office from 2006 to 2015. The final section includes a proposal for measures to improve the future development of the individual groups.

This dissertation thesis deals with the furniture manufacturing sector in Czech Republic. The main aim of the dissertation thesis is to define recommendations of strategic options and recommendations for competitiveness of enterprises on the basis of executed analysis of furniture manufacturing industry. The theoretical part gives an overview of industry analysis methods which are described in literature. The practical part of the thesis applies selected analysis to furniture manufacturing industry in Czech Republic, demonstrates results of research via questionnaire, which are mainly focused on the large and medium size enterprises and in this part are recommended suggestions for competitiveness of enterprises in the industry. Recommendations for Czech furniture manufacturers include e.g. improve a marketing and deepening cooperation with scientific institutions.

Historically, the insolvency proceedings are a matter of the national states and their own legal regimes. With progressive European integration, the undertaking activities grow over the national levels. Also with numerous cases of defaults of companies undertaking in different states of European Union, a request for regulation setting clear set rules for performance of multijurisdictional insolvency proceedings in European Union is made. At the beginning of the twenty first century the European regulation ES No. 1346/2000 on insolvency proceedings (the "Regulation") has become this set of rules. This Regulation, which among others stayed valid throughout the biggest financial crisis that European Union had come through and it is now becoming a quality ground on which the European Parliament is trying to establish its recast the regulation of European Parliament and Council (EU) 2015/848 on insolvency proceedings (the "Recast"). The interpretation of original Regulation was done by the European Court of Justice on several occasions. This interpretation helped on successful use of the Regulation. Based mostly on European Court of Justice decision making and international insolvency law experts opinion, the Recast has been prepared. Práce pojednává o vlivu referenčních skupin a aplikaci marketingových technik na ovlivňování spotřebního chování gymnaziálních studentů. Práce se snaží nalézt odpověď na otázku, zda existuje rozdíl v působení referenčních skupin na spotřební chování studentů státních a soukromých gymnázií v Praze. V rámci práce jsou nastíněny nejvhodnější marketingové techniky pro efektivní působení na cílovou skupinu gymnazistů. Součástí práce je analýza dvou dotazníkových výzkumů, a jedné provedené focus group.

This thesis engages in discribing Czech gambling law and it's recent development in preparing a very new gambling act. The goal of this diploma thesis is to point out at the biggest problems of so far existing gambling act and at what way they should be dealt in the new one. I use two main economic theories to explain reasons of issuing new act. The first one is The Theory of Interest Groups and the other one is Theory of Public Interest which are applied at the case of Czech Republic. Next goal of this thesis is an analysis of popularity of all gambles according to sum of money gambled and money paid back. I also describe a historic development of gambles and it's regulation and show that the ability to innovate new ways to evade the law had very often no limits and the regularors have never been able to make up a clear set of rules that would be unavoidable.

The purpose of my thesis "The change of goals in corporate governance of Canadian companies" is to find out CSR activities of chosen companies with emphasis on ecological and social activities. It examines the change of view on product manufacturing and thereby the influence on stakeholders. In the first part of thesis I focus on theoretical base of corporate governance and CSR. It zooms in the differences between two approaches -- focus on shareholders and focus on stakeholders. I analyze tools and methods of corporate governance and their influence on evaluation. In the second part I focus on analysis of real companies and application of theoretical knowledge from the first part of thesis. I analyze three Canadian companies, RioTinto Alcan -- mining company, MEC -- producer of outdoor equipment, RBC Bank -- Canadian bank. All companies are the best in their industries. Analysis of activities of three companies enables point to general CSR rules not only in Canadian environment. It is possible to demonstrate world trends of ecological and social projects and activities.

This thesis deals with the optimization of stocks of medicines in the pharmacy. The goal is to find a connection when dealing with inventory optimization drugs. First is the optimization of inventories as such. It is also discussed the situation in the pharmaceutical market in different ATC groups in the Czech Republic. Selected methods is processed inventory optimization of specific drugs in the existing pharmacy equipment.
