Though, when the problem of parents‘ violence against children is given publicity it becomes the object of discussion and the reality in the family life. Scientific problem. The violence against children lies in all family life, its poor daily circumstances, in psychological communication between parents and children, in their behaviour, in parents‘ ability to educate modern children under the circumstances of developing democratic relations among people in Lithuania. That is possible to investigate impirically using the experience and wisdom of social teachers as well as evaluating the violence against children which happens in their pupils‘ families. The part of the scientific literature analysis deals with the conception of the violence against children, its origin, reasons and consequences. The experience of foreign countries related with the solutions of these problems is being analysed.
