The diploma thesis is focused on design of timber construction of wooden house on the specific area in Popice. In the first part is outlined history of the village, then there are described main requirements for the permanent housing and the requirements for the permanent use of building with barrier-free layout. The following is a general overview of the wood-based construction systems and types of roofing of these structures. In the second part of the thesis is worked out design of five layouts in accordance with the legislative regulations applicable to the Czech Republic and with the territorial plan. For the selected alternative, there is made the design and selection of the appropriate roofing of the building. Design composition of constructions is complemented by calculation of heat transfer coefficient. In the end, there is calculated approximate price of the building construction. For the selected layout, there is made drawing which is in the separate attachment.

In my thesis, I have devoted myself to a preparation of draft of a wooden house . The thesis also includes construction documentation for a realization of the whole project . The building type is bungalow using frame wooden construction with diffusely opened construction of external cladding. Roof construction consist of wooden truss. The thesis includes process layout of the whole project, basic drawings for a building permission, selected construction details, structure of constructions, heat assessment 1D and construction documentation, which is necessary for a realization of the whole building.

Thesis focuses on the comparison of the technical parameters of the 1920s window and refurbished one to the current conditions. The refurbished window was tested according to the relevant tests in the STV testing laboratory in Zlín and based on the results these values were compared. Thesis also includes the economic balance of the problem. Fur-thermore, there is a proposal for improving the insulation properties of double windows described. The diploma thesis is a follow-up to the bachelor's thesis, so the refurbished win-dow was again tested according to the three most important technical requirements. It was a test of air permeability, load resistance to wind pressure and water tightness. The heat transfer coefficient was also calculated.

The diploma thesis deals with a construction of a wooden family house design. It is about two – storey house without cellars and with a saddle roof. The designed wooden building consists of combinations of two construction systems. This is the combination of a solid timbered construction system with a system of a frame wooden house. In both cases it is about difussely closed construction. The thesis is devided into two parts – the drawing and the text part. In the text part there is a timber described as construction material. Further, in the text part there is somenting about wooden builidngs from history to the present. Particular constructions systems of wooden houses and systems of solid and frame wooden houses are described in more details in the text part too. Further, the text part contains a description of a family house layout and a description of particular constructions related to an own design and thermal – technical assessment of the designed construction structures. Accompanying and technical reports, fire safety solutions and a price calculation are also included into the text part. As for the drawing part, the thesis contains of particular drawings of the family house and basic construction details.

The subject of the thesis is the drawing up of a proposal to alter a holiday building in the municipality of Domašín - Studená. It is a one-storey, hipped-roof brick cottage used for weekend stays. The alteration includes replacing the unsuitable stone part of the adjacent barn with a wooden extension and also to put new roofing over the remaining part of the building. This roof space will also be used for residential purposes. The design has been drawn up in accordance with requirements in current standards and legislation which are applicable in the Czech Republic, while complying with the local building conditions specified in the land-use plan. The thesis includes drawings and text in the design documentation, visualisation of the building, heat passage calculation, and a rough evaluation of the building.

The thesis describes the design of complex of identical four timber houses disposed over a particular area. The thesis also contains documentation for the implementation. Objects will be used for recreational accommodation purpose on an organic farm. One building is designed for a capacity of at least 6 people. Project is focused on one type object for which are developed construction drawings needed for construction permit check. The thesis is mainly focused on manufacturing documentation and output from modelling software for timber constructions made by DIETRICHS company. For the needs of an investor, for possible design of composition of timber construction were proposed, for which were performed calculations of coefficient of heat transfer and calculations of the house constructions project documents. Due to chosen construction technology, the first part of the thesis is focused on basic information related to timber constructions from the perspective of history. Description of possibilities of corner joints are also included in thesis.

This work is focused on a design and assessment of construction of wooden building family house. It is a building of frame construction with diffusion open structure of perimeter shell. At the beginning of work is sketch given issue and used construction system. After that are designed possible alternative structures of perimeter wall and its chosen the most eligible option from the point of view thermal technical appraisal. The appraisal is executed from the point of view achieved value thermal transmittance, so it met the requirements low-energies buildings. The chosen structure of perimeter wall is subsequently considered in design of family house.

This master´s thesis deals with an air cooled condenser. The specific attention is focused on the condenser in the Brno´s waste-to-energy plant SAKO. The general process of calculation of the heat transfer coefficient is introduced, which is the base for the calculation of the condenser´s output. This process is later used for the calculation of a specific condenser. A considerable part of the thesis is concentrated on the analysis of behavior of the condenser of SAKO in various conditions from the theoretical point of view and then also in terms of real operation using provided operational data.

The thesis is divided into literary research and practical part (own measurement). The content of the literary research is a description of the flow over thin-plate rectangular weir. The practical part is focused on a description of the model, measuring equipment and measurement. The results are evaluation of lower and upper surface of nappe, determination of discharge coefficient, coefficient of relative length of shaft, limit value of relative length of shaft for uninfluenced shape of nappe.

Master´s thesis solves problematic of energy evaluation of residential building in Kyjov. The theoretical part analyzes the legislative requirements, the practical part includes energy audit of brick residential building with 9 apartments for 18 inhabitants.
