The project concerns itself with a current issue concerning the use of the social space, Černa louka, situated a short distance from the centre of Ostrava. This project adds new facilities - educational, sports, gastronomical, and scientific - to the original competion proposal. What is more, this brings new input to the area responding to the needs of local inhabitants. The complex of educational buildings is designed as a new principle of vertical compact form.

The Diploma thesis deals with the testing of electrically assisted turbochargers. Aim of this work is to apply the established way of the performance testing of conventional turbochargers for electrically assisted turbocharger. Part of this work is to create a program for the calculation of the observed characteristics of the turbocharger. The program is extended to the characteristics of the generator for electrically assisted turbocharger. The program will serve as a basic for control the data for tested motorsport applications.

Title: The learning aids for educational therapy of dysortographia of primary school pupils pupils Thesis "The learning aids for educational therapy of dysortographia of primary school pupils" aims at assembling a list of method of reducing dysortographia - a specific grammar disability - and assessing their effectiveness for treating this disability. The theoretical part of the thesis covers terminology, symptoms and ethiology of specific learning disabilities. Next, the topic of specific learning disabilities is discussed in the context of primary school (ages 7 - 12). Diagnostics, methods of educational therapy and learning aids are described in relation to dysortographia. The reserch part of the thesis describes the methods used in special pedagogical intervention and, based on analysis of input and output diagnostics, assesses the effect of used methods on management of dysortographia in a chosen sample of pupils, compared to the control group which hasn't been treated with these methods. The diploma thesis aim to the design of equipment for ŠKODA JS a.s., which is part of a new inspection stand (N-SIO). This equipment is an inspection column that provides the possibility to inspect spent fuel assemblies at the operation of the Temelín nuclear power plant. This master thesis is also a summary of the whole design of the new inspection stand and a description of the individual inspection components and devices. One of the parts of the thesis is also a basic strength analysis and a drawing of the main assembly of inspection equipment.

This diploma work deals with proposal and implementation GPS navigation system. Work includes described basic types of cement quarry and proposal to create mathematical and software model of quarry. Then work is devoted to possibilities of basic described algorithms for searching the shortest way in graph and two algorithms are described. They are Floyd-Warshall and Dikjstra algorithms. Master’s thesis concern with the area on the edge of urban district Brno-Řečkovice a Mokrá Hora which is defined by street Terezy Novákové and Žilkova. In this territory is designed new residential complex which is integrated into existing buildings and area of the Czech Army. The main theme of this projet is created compact housing development with adequate population density which complete current built-up area and guarantee high-quality enviroment for living present and future inhabitants. Urban development respect surrounding houses. New complex has mainly block character which is created by block of flats and transformed into low row houses. In the proposed complex prevail residential function which is supplemented by public facilities like kindergarten, sports grounds and basic services. The urban philosophy put emphasis on human scale, high-quality public space and general contentment, liveliness and safety in street’s area.

The aim of urban concept is cadastral area of Brno – Holásky. This area is designated area for development in spatial plan for the city of Brno. Area is designated for housing, social care and education. The area has size of 42ha and it is defined by the railway in the east. From the south hit is V Aleji and U potoka street. The border continues along road towards shopping mall Olympia. The west border is consists by Holásky lakes. In the north the border goes through structure between V Aleji street and Ledárenská street. The area is relatively attractive mainly due the close connection nature sight Holásky lakes. Also interesting is location within the city of Brno. Altough the area is located outside the larger city center, there is a good accessibility to the center. The new residential housing area provides space for approximately 1400 inhabitants. The structure and vertical articulation is based on response of the surrounding buildings. The V Aleji street defines an axis that helps to create new space for central square. Another axis it the road from the V Aleji street towards Holasky lakes. This is major line connecting residential area and the surrounding with the area of lakes. This street also devide the area into two parts. Right part, northern, consisting with coherent block with dimension of 200x300 metres. Outside part of the block consists of blocks of flats. The inner part is filled with family houses and public space belonging to blocks of flats. Part of the block is also elderly house. The left, southern, part concludes the L shape block of current housing. Again the edge of block is formed by blocks of flats and family houses in inner part. At the end of the axis heading to Holasky lakes is kindergarten in direct relation to natural park. Next to the Holásky lakes there will be space for sports and recreation. The aim of the diploma thesis is to elaborate a selected part of the construction technology plan for the Residential complex Troubsko. Specifically, it is focused on a pair of mirror-image apartment buildings marked SO 12.11 and SO 12.12. The building is located in the area of a former pond, which was backfilled in the past. The foundation strips are therefore placed on vibrated gravel pillars. The structure of the building is proposed as a traditional masonry building, the horizontal load-bearing structures consists of the cast-in-place reinforced concrete floor and the roof structure is designed as a flat roof. The thesis consists in a technical report pertaining to the construction technology plan, evaluation of transport routes, technological regulation for the cast-in-place reinforced concrete floor above 1PP and a time schedule for rough construction. Also elaborated are construction site equipment including a drawing and text part, a control and test plan, itemized budget with bill of quantities for rough construction, design of machine sets and work safety solutions are elaborated.

The prefabricated apartment buildings are on the west bank of the river and family houses on the east bank of the river. On the east side there are private areas of family houses and on the west side there are prefabricated buildings with poor quality public spaces. There is only the anonymity of the city, isolation and a lack of human dimension. My concept solves the problem of combining two opposing approaches. It emphasizes neighborly relations in the form of community and the development of community thinking. What should urbanism that unites people look like?

The goal of diploma thesis was design of educational building complex in Ostrava, Černá louka. Design is divided into two buildings- the main building(primary and secondary school) and kindergarden building. Main entrance into the complex is oriented to the catchment area - new living in Nová Karolina. Subsidence of the Kindergarten object creates landscaped space in front of schools. The green belt for sport and recreation was preserved along the river. Form the main object corresponds with the surrounding buildings - closed block with an inner atrium. The block opens and decreases towards the river, as well as kindergarten object. The facade of the building is special architectural concrete with the ability to clean the air - pierced around the windows. Gllass is used towards atrium and the river. Colours facade is enlivened by yellow surfaces lining by the windows, for common areas are used flat glass glossy green panels. Operation of the main building is divided into 4 units. Primary school is oriented towards the river and it is typical for square classrooms and a large corridor. Secondary school, coupled with the high school is located in 2nd and 3rd floor in the atrium arrangement of corridors with classrooms. Next part is gymnasium oriented to the Černá louka. Facilities of the school is located in the 1st floor. The dominant element is spatially banked dining room that opens into the atrium.
