Management is one of the most important human inventions, which together with economics helps to strengthen the economic progression throughout the coexistence of these two disciplines. Dissertation thesis applies twenty-five contemporary challenges of management and ten characteristics of a viable business model in strategic management, seeking their use in analysis of internal and external environment of an organization in order to identify the important determinants and issues of strategic management of an organization, based on comparisons and disparity of perceptions of the importance of determinants identified by respondents across an organization. Among the traditionally perceived problem areas there belong the customer, the area of communication, innovation and others that are pointed out by defined determinants validated by questionnaire survey.

Six upholstelry materials were chosen and their drying time was tested. The same shaping materials were tested to find out their resistance towards mould, fungus if placed in damp environment. This thesis is focused on the theoretical bases of contemporary analysis of Turkish nationalism and Turkish identity. The first part of this thesis in two chapters provides a brief review of the historical development of Turkish nationalism and the main sources of its ideas, and then summarizes the evolution of theoretical debates on the nationalism and shows the most influent theories of the end of 20th century. The main part of the thesis analyzes texts of contemporary Turkish experts concerned with Turkish nationalism in the book Milliyetçilik. The analysis is focused in detail on four main topics. The aim of the analysis is to show how today's Turkish experts approach the study of Turkish nationalism and which thoughts and theoretical bases they work with.

1 Stopami Krejčovy divadelní poetiky ve frankofonní Belgii Disertační práce se zaměřuje na české divadlo od první do druhé avantgardy. Především je zaměřená na divadlo Otomara Krejči a jeho vztah s belgickým divadlem v rámci druhého českého avantgardního divadla do doby normalizace (do r. 1982). Hlavní hypotéza je v tom, že Krejčův přínos byl významný pro belgické pojetí dramatického umění. Existuje dnes belgické pokračování divadelní poetiky Krejči ve frankofonní Belgii a pokud ano, proč ? Krejča realizoval důležitou část svého uměleckého života v Belgii. Belgická divadelní činnost Krejči se dělí do dvou odlišných období. První z nich začíná založením Divadla za branou v Praze v roce 1965 a je spojené s působením v belgickém Národním divadle v Bruselu. Tato léta spadají do československé destalinizace a jsou velmi produktivní v umělecké oblasti. V Bruselu Krejča režíruje celkem čtyři hry : v roce 1965 Hamlet, v roce 1966 Racek, v roce 1970 Tři sestry a v roce 1978 Romeo a Julie. Ty tři první hry jsou inscenovány před odjezdem Krejči do jeho polo-exilu a před dobou normalizace. Poslední hra znamená začátek jeho druhého období v Belgii, spojeného s městem Louvain-la-Neuve. Thesis POLITICS, HISTORY, MEMORY: POLITIC USES OF THE PAST IN FRANCE SINCE 1990s David EMLER Abstract The PhD. thesis analyzes the triangle of mutual influences between politics, history and memory. The introduction brings interpretations of the most important French concepts of memory (Halbwachs, Nora, Ricœur). The content is divided into three chapters, analyzing the mutual interactions of politics and history (so-called "memory laws" and reactions of historians), influences between memory and politics (uses of memory in presidential speeches), and mutual effects between history and memory (development of French historiography of contemporary history).

The dissertation focuses on the microhistorical analysis of the last years of the life of Hugo Vavrečka (1880-1952), technician, journalist, economist, diplomat and sales director of the Baťa company. The theoretical and methodological part elaborates on the epistemological differences between biographical and microhistorical research, after which attention is paid especially to the possibilities of microhistorical research in the field of contemporary history. The methodology of clues (Carlo Ginzburg) and the researcher's own positionality follow, while the sources used are presented. The interpretative part briefly summarizes the basic outlines of Hugo Vavrečka's life before 1944, after which the main research focus is put on his actions from autumn 1944 to his death in August 1952. Thesis analyses Vavrečka's post-war life, his own attitude to the personal and socio- political situation, to its changes, trying to name the approaches and individual motivations or beliefs with which he chose them. Last but not least, the work also focuses on the broader context of his family and friends, as well as on at least partially exposing the steps of his post-war opponents, who largely led him into this uneasy situation.

This thesis is dealing with the education of contemporary history on the second level of elementary schools and grammar schools, concretely with the period 1968-1989 in Czechoslovakia, so called "normalisation" and works with options of application in the educational proces. The study of contemporary czechoslovakian history is sbdued to analysis: historic, didactic and methodical with the explicit theoretical research the proposition of didaktic approach arises, which forms 10 teaching lessons for elementary schools and 12 for grammar schools with the difference of 2 levels of lessons - standarized and the so called seminars with emphasis on the activity of the pupils, working with resources, development of critical historical thinking and the perception of the causes and results of historical evolution. The diploma thesis deals with the use of our senses in art education. The theoretical part of the thesis clarifies concepts of "pedagogical constructivism, personality approach in the teaching of art education, creation as self-knowledge, sensory education", opens the question of experience as a starting point for art activities for contemporary pupils at the time of digital technologies. Our senses that come out of us are inseparable and ubiquitous, therefore they interfer with the various other components of our lives. So that's why the work tried to cover the senses to a wider extent of our conduct. Sometimes the theoretical part ranged from the chosen trajectory, but it was only because of the strong feelings of necessity to think about the question of human culture or at least to mention the anchoring of our education in history. This section also focuses on the psychological side of sensory sensitivity education. The five elaborated tasks in the didactic part bring a look into art lessons which characteristic features are experience, imagination, free decision and easiness, which originates from true sincerity and truthfulness towards oneself. This degree work sets itself the objective to extend well-known information about the Institute of Contemporary History, bringing precise description of the first ten years of its existence. The main purpose of this work is to elaborate further on the Institute's activities from the perspective of the so-called non-scholarly component of its staff. In the first theoretical part of this work, the theme of the structure and activities of the Institute is put into the context of time, with special attention to previous perspectives and problems of historiography as a scientific discipline; in this scope a general description of historiography as such is examined. Subsequent chapters characterize the methods of examination in the field of contemporary History in the U.S.A, France, Germany, Austria, Great Britain and Poland. It also gives a rough outline of changes in topical and geographical analysis as manifested in the attempt of specialisation in the above mentioned countries. My Thesis Municipality Slavhostice on the Border of Contemporary History shows the history and progress of the village Slavhostice lying in region Hradec Králové, district Jičín, in important historical moments. During the World War I, during the inter-war period, the World War II and post-war period. It also focuses on particular topics, school and schoolchildren, cultural life and various municipal associations and economic situation. The aim of my work is to show continuity, and vice versa the contrast between large and small history. Show the impact of global progresses to this small village and to show, a life of its own, despite the events. Events in the village are drawn based on the chronicles, accountancy, correspondence, home lists, photos and many other documents tracing the history of the village. As a supplement serve two narrations of its inhabitants. It should be a merit for Regional history.
