Ondra, Martin January 2018 (has links)
Construction of buildings and their alterations Abstract This master's thesis is concerned with the analysis of the primary regulation of realization of structures and their alternations, which is a part of the public construction law. The topic of this thesis is up-to-date because of adoption of the second major amendment to the Building Act. The proclaimed goal of this amendment is a simplification and an acceleration of the processes and procedures. The main goal of this thesis is to identify problems associated with the current legal regulation of realization of general structures and their alternations, which, in selected cases, is followed by the effort to find their solution de lege ferenda. The secondary goal of this thesis is a critique of the second major amendment to the Building Act from 2017 and the identification of what problems it has brought including the assessment of whether is actually fulfilling its stated goal. The master's thesis is composed of six chapters. Chapter one deals with the sources of law and the fragmentation of implementing statues. Chapter two analyzes the basic concept of structure as well as other basic concepts related to the topic of this thesis. Chapter three contains an analysis of the organisation of building offices, selected issues related to the performance of...

Historické a soudobé dřevěné roubené stavby pro bydlení a jejich konstrukční řešení / Historical and contemporary wooden timbered buildings for living and construction solutions

Matějovský, Šimon January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was to carry out a search based on available literature that focused on historical development of timbered houses in the Czech Republic that are intended for permanent living. A survey was conducted subsequently to this search. This survey concentrated on firms that nowadays build timbered houses and also on construction solutions and structure composition of such houses. The conducted survey describes prevalent construction solutions of timbered houses in the current housebuilding sector of the Czech market. The thesis focuses on thermal properties of today's timbered wooden structures. Next, an indicative measurement of these buildings was carried out by a blower door test and thermal imaging diagnostics. Furthermore, the thesis compares timbered structures with standard requirements for permanent housing. Interestingly, the measurements for instance showed that one new building met the requirements of the blower door test. Next, several thermography measurements demonstrated seamless heat transfer of a timbered wall as a whole. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the current use and construction of timbered houses in the Czech Republic. Moreover, it sums up the results of the measurements and outlines the survey results regarding the thermal properties of these houses.

Kámen v zahradě. Návrh zahrady penzionu s apartmány v Desné v Jizerských horách. / „Stone in a garden". The Project: The garden of a guest-house (with apartments) in Desná, Jizerské Hory

Žitný, Lukáš January 2017 (has links)
Diploma work: Stone in a garden. The Project the garden of a guest-house (with apartments) in Desná, Jizerské Hory. This diploma work deals with the use of stone, a naturally resistant material, in an appropriate and aesthetic manner in the creation of a garden. The first part of this work is theoretical and focuses on the usage of stone in history as a building material for both utilitarian and conceptual buildings. This is followed by a discussion of the use of stone in Asia as a natural material in garden art in contrast to its use in Europe. With a focus on granite in garden and landscape creation, an assessment and classification of the soil (based on its mineral and chemical composition) is necessary to provide accurate information in order to select only stone which has been correctly mined, processed and shaped before its final use. An in-depth knowledge of the large range of stone products available and their correct usage is very important in order to realise a design with permanent garden elements which are both functional and aesthetic with buildings that will last for generations. The practical part of this diploma work - my own project, is a guest-house garden in Desná, Jizerské hory owned by Martin Bajer. The land area is 2000 square metres of which 531 square metres is used by buildings. The terrain, steep and set at 580 - 590 metres above sea level, is located in the mountains with its rich history and views of beautiful nature. The river Bílá Desná flows though the valley of Desná and helped to create the "golden age" of the glass industry in the 2nd half of the 19th century. Unfortunately, Bílá Desná also contributed to the biggest catastrophe of its kind in the Central Europe. In 1916 a dam failure on the river disastrously resulted in 62 fatalities and 100 damaged houses. In 2006 Martin Bajer couldn't resist the beauty of the area and became the owner of what remains of an old guest-house. Reconstruction work began in 2006 and continued for the past 11 years. The redevelopment of the garden is expected to begin soon (2017). Only after understanding the owner's vision for the future of the guesthouse could a design be created. The owner's idea focused on owning a guesthouse with apartments favourable to both families with children as well as more senior guests who prefer to enjoy an active holiday in a natural setting. The garden's design therefore, offers the possibility for guests to use the garden for activities as well as passive relaxation in winter and summer months. Much emphasis is placed on the use of natural materials. Granite is the natural building material most commonly used in this region. Thanks to its unique characteristics - tough and resistant to the elements, granite makes an ideal choice for use in gardens. Its toughness makes it resistant to constant wear by guests and able to cope with difficult mountain conditions, especially heavy snow cover and the extreme temperatures of winter. The result of this practical diploma work is a garden design coupled with a detailed strategy for realising the owners initial concept. The design outlines the space as well as the technical process of building the individual elements with garden structures surrounded by plants - all accomplished within the agreed budget.

Mobilní stavby pro nouzové bydlení / Mobile houses for emergency

Kučerová, Petra January 2015 (has links)
The aim of the dissertation is to present the issue of post-catastrophic reconstruction of and and dwellings with focus on temporary forms of housing. Given the complexity of the topic, various aspects are presented, from mobile houses, the basics of environmentalism and foreign aid through temporary post-catastrophic dwellings and constructions to assessment databases of temporary post-catastrophic constructions. Observation is focused mainly on constructions and shelters built shortly after the catastrophe. Based on the study of manuals, directives, post-catastrophic reports and analyses of constructions for emergency situations, a hypothesis was created that determines the factors for the success of mobile houses in post-catastrophic conditions. The crucial factors are: transportability, efficiency, versatility, adaptability to the place of catastrophe and development in time. The hypothesis was verified on a sample of 17 selected mobile houses and on student´s works. The contribution of this dissertation is global evaluation of the issue of post-catastrophic reconstruction from several points of view, formulation of three areas of current mobile and basic types of transitional shelters, the description of post-disaster reconstruction of land and dwellings.

Studie městského parku s využitím přírodních materiálů

Waldhauser, Jan January 2017 (has links)
The diploma thesis is about Study of the city park using natural materials. In the literary search, natural materials are broken down according to their properties. Unburnt clay, straw and other materials are given more space in work than wood or stone, which are generally known as materials. The materials are thus analyzed both in terms of their characteristics and history, which clarifies the reason and philosophy of their use together in the context of the chapter on sustainable development and energy balance of material. The thesis also deals with the analysis of several existing buildings and objects in parks or gardens, where it was possible to evaluate the behavior of natural materials in practice. The core part of the study of the city park in Prague near the Ďáblice Observatory is supported by a number of analyzes and graphical outputs. The proposal focuses primarily on engaging the public in the creation of a park, whose idea is to literally grow out of itself. Natural materials such as clay, wood or straw are used as the main resources.
