Student Bc. Michaela Ráčková in her diploma thesis will be deal with a phenomenon of revitalization of church buildings, especially design of reconversion of the former vicarage and its surroundings in the village Přítluky in South Moravia. Church buildings as churches, vicarages, convents have always been determining and dominant element in the formation of settlements. Their clear and often privileged position in the structure of settlements was determined by relationship of man to faith. This position remained them despite many ups and downs and church buildings still play an important role in the environment in which we live.

This diploma thesis is focused on the various types of pricing in the real estate market. The first section, is theoretical, and explains the basics of asset evaluation and the building budgets, which are neccessary for the further understanding and the elaboration of this thesis. The second part compares prices in the real estate market according to certain methods, asset evaluations and set budgets, based on the project documentation.

My thesis is concerned with design of architecture form representing the context of existing site and in the appropriate manner integrating animal expositions to present to public in the most natural way. The purpose of this project was reaching the understanding of demands between animals and visitors. The designed organic form comes from these needs and also tries to be integated with surrounding area.

Urban design of the site called Black meadow in Ostrava is based on the winners’ design of urban planning competition for this place from the Dutch architectural studio Maxwan made in 2010. Changes in urban planning are influenced by changes of conditions, in which is the city Ostrava today. Nowadays it‘s important to find some additional function instead of just cultural cluster planned in 2010. The function, which is missing in the area and has potential to be realized in the future is sport and relax. It‘s nothing better, than develop different types of sport activities on the riverside and connect sport, relax and cultural activities at one place, to create living and attractive place. The major task was design of the school complex in this area. My school is located outside of Black meadow cluster, but in his very neighborhood, in connection with the sport playgrounds created along the river. Separated operational units are connected with common spaces like school library, canteen and hall and surround the common schoolyard with the view to the river and castle. Simple raster of classes is broken by common meeting and sport areas, which are extruded from the rectangular plan and creating view points, which communicate together and improve the orientation in the building.

The topic of the master thesis is design of the new building of the equestrian center with the stable for horses. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with development of the horse breeding and buildings for breeding horses. In the second part of the master thesis there is a proposal for the new equestrian center with stable for horses. The new equestrial center is a fictious building located on the real estate in the village of Mokrý Lom.

The topic of this thesis is the superficiary right of building (and other possibilities of building on the land belonging to a third party, though the focus is primarily on the institution of the superficiary right of building). The principle "superficies solo cedit" was reintroduced in Czech legislation when the new Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012, Coll.) came into force. Along with this principle, the institution known as superficiary right of building has also returned to Czech law after a hiatus of more than 50 years. This thesis seeks to provide a comprehensive interpretation of the superficiary right of building, to explain the individual rights and obligations arising from the superficiary right of building, and to compare the institution of superficiary right of building to other possibilities of erecting a building on land which belongs to someone else. The first chapter defines some of the basic concepts which facilitate the explanation of individual issues and the understanding of certain connections in the following chapters. The second chapter describes the history of the superficiary right of building, which has its roots in the times of ancient Rome. The diploma thesis deals with the cost determination of the family house reconstruction, which was built at the beginning of the last century and has already undergone one reconstruction in the 90s of the last century and the assessment of the building's valulation by the building modifications. The construction technical state of the house before reconstruction and description of the construction works and used technologies in the reconstruction realized in 20132015 are detaily described as well. Expected construction costs are determined by an item budget and actual reconstruction costs which were largely self-made are determined according to the tax documents of building owner. The determination of value change by house reconstruction was evaluated using the cost and comparation method.

The diploma thesis solves the value of a cultural immovable monument. The course will deal with the issue of real estate valuation in relation to the life cycle of the building and its historical value. In order to verify the acquired theoretical knowledge, a case study will be prepared, which will determine the value of the cultural monument.

The diploma thesis purpose is to choose optimal structure of the modernisation of slab block flat roof, according to building life cycle coast minimalisation. Based on the theoretical knowledge, the design of the stack was made in different phases and based on the building life cycle cost, considering the decreasing value of money over time. The selection of the optimal solution followed, taking account the specific conditions of the given scope of realization and the specific object. The diploma thesis focuses on shape optimization and then on determining of strength of straw bane panels. The thesis aims to maximize the load-bearing capacity of the panels and using static calculation and laboratory testing to prove usability of panels in construction of buildings. From the acquired maximal load values for each panel the technical data sheets were created. Values in the technical data sheets were evaluated on FEM model of a simple house. The model proved applicability and reliability of straw bane panels in construction of buildings.
