Pistolová páječka s napájením z baterií Li-Ion / Soldering gun with Li-Ion battery supply

Bartoš, Miroslav January 2018 (has links)
This master‘s thesis deals with the design of battery powered soldering iron. The soldering iron will be placed in the plastic box from a conventional transformer soldering iron. First, we need to find the parameters of the original transformer soldering iron. Then design a synchronous step-down converter, driver of converter, BMS circuits, and component placement in a plastic box. The battery-powered soldering iron was successfully revived and tested, the final parameters of the converter are: voltage 0.4 V at 80 A current. The total power on the soldering wire is 32 W. Technically, this is a very interesting alternative to the classic version of the soldering iron, which can be used for assembly or repairs in poorly accessible locations.

Vývoj a ověření DC/DC měniče pro budoucí automobilové osvětlovací systémy s palubním napětím 48V / Development and Verification of DC/DC Converter for Future Automotive Lighting Systems with Net Voltage of 48V

Pospíšil, Josef January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this master thesis is to describe the requirements put on electronics and headlights within car industry, above all on the newly emerging 48V power network. In the thesis the principles of chosen DC/DC buck converter topologies are briefly described. In the next part of this thesis the converters are designed and manufactured. Further, the EMC chamber measurement of these converters and their subsequent evaluation is performed. In the last part the proposed converters are compared and evaluated.

DC/DC měnič pro záložní zdroje / DC to DC inverter for backup power supplies

Eliáš, Marek January 2019 (has links)
This thesis deals with the design of a DC/DC converter designed for charging supercapacitors from the 36 V voltage source and consequent back transformation of supercapacitors voltage to the required output voltage. In the thesis the designs of decreasing and increasing DC/DC converters including schematics and calculations of individual components are presented and described. The calculations necessary for the supercapacitors to meet the 10Wh energy condition and the voltage balancer on the capacitors are given below. Completely designed equipment will be assembled and tested on supercapacitors with lower energy.

Procesorem řízený stabilizátor napětí s vysokou účinností / Processor controlled voltage stabilizer with high efficiency

Halouzka, Dalibor January 2010 (has links)
Each elektronics device needs power supply voltage with special parameters. Voltage regulators warrant this special parameters. This thesis deal with principles of switching voltage regulator, especially step-down convertor, its features and ways to microprocessor based control of the convertor.

Univerzální napájecí zdroj s mikrokontrolérem / General-purpose power supply with microcontroller

Jorda, Ivo January 2014 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is design of adjustable switched mode power supply with symmetrical output of 25 V, and switched mode power supply with fixed output voltage of 5 V. Required maximum output current of each outputs is 3 A. At the beginning of the paper function of the basic SMPS topologies is described. Next all reqiured SMPSs are designed and chosen parts of the design are simulated. In the second half of the thesis assembly and testing of PCB are described as well as functions of programs. Last chapter contains results of meassurement of power supply paramters.

Knowledge of and attitudes towards kangaroo mother care in the Eastern Subdistrict, Cape Town.

Rosant, Celeste. January 2009 (has links)

Kangaroo mother care (KMC) was first initiated in Colombia due to shortages of incubators and the incidence of severe hospital infections of new-born infants during hospital stay (Feldman, 2004). Currently it is identified by UNICEF as a universally available and biologically sound method of care for all new-borns, particularly for low birth weight infants (Department of Reproductive Health and Research, 2003) in both developed and developing countries. The Western Cape Provincial Government implemented a policy on KMC as part of their strategy to decrease the morbidity and mortality of premature infants in 2003 (Kangaroo Mother Care Provincial task team, 2003). Essential components of KMC are: skin-to-skin contact for 24 hours per day (or as great a part of the day as possible), exclusive breastfeeding and support to the motherinfant dyad. Successful implementation of KMC requires relevant education of nurses, education of mothers on KMC by nursing staff, monitoring of the implementation of KMC by nurses, planning for a staff mix with varying levels of skill and experience with KMC, the identification of institution specific barriers to the implementation of KMC, and the implementation of institution specific strategies to overcome these barriers (Wallin,et al., 2005 / Bergman &amp / Jurisco, 1994 / Cattaneo, et al., 1998). This study aims to determine the knowledge of and attitude towards kangaroo mother care, of nursing staff and kangaroo mothers in the Eastern sub-district of Cape Town.
