Sociální vztahy a synchronizace ve stádech přežvýkavců - vliv na pastevní chování / Sociální vztahy a synchronizace ve stádech přežvýkavců - vliv na pastevní chováníŠárová, Radka January 2011 (has links)
This thesis addresses the relationships between beef cattle (Bos taurus) group behaviour on pasture, social dominance and individual characteristics such as body weight and age. The thesis is based on three studies performed in a herd of female beef cattle. In the first two studies, GPS collars were used as the main data-collection method, while the third study relied on an extensive dataset of cow dominance relationships. The first study focused on activity synchronization. We assessed whether cows similar to each other in body weight or in reproductive status were more synchronized and whether the timing of activity switches was determined by specific leading animals. We found that the body weight difference in a dyad of animals had a negative influence on their mutual synchronization. There were no leading animal initiating switches in activity. The second study focused on the role of dominant animals in group movements of the herd. There were positive correlations between dominance status of an individual and several measures of leadership during movements, namely the position of the animal at the front of the herd, more direct and shorter trajectories and higher alignment with nearest neighbours and with the whole herd. These results show that herd movements on pasture behaviour were...

Optimalizace metod hormonální indukce ovulace u hospodářsky významných druhů rybŠVINGER, Viktor William January 2013 (has links)
Extensive asynchrony of sexual maturation is characteristic of salmonid females, and, for various reasons, the spawning season can be extended for 4 months, although it generally extends over a 3 week to 2 month period, as in brook trout and northern whitefish. In aquaculture, to ensure high fertilization and egg survival rates, it is recommended that identification of ovulating females be undertaken at least twice weekly. This is time-consuming when keeping large numbers of broodstock with an extended spawning season, and risk of stress damage to fish increases. Ensuring sufficient Arctic grayling broodstock relies on capture of wild animals from natural waters before onset of the spawning season. Capture and long-term holding of wild stocks is associated with high pre-spawning mortality. Due to the high ovulation synchronizing effect, GnRHa is practical for induction of ovulation 1?1.5 months prior to the natural spawning season. This work focused on optimization of methods of hormone-controlled reproduction using GnRHa in brook trout, northern whitefish, and Arctic grayling from Siberia. Because this is the first report of use of GnRHa in these species, emphasis was on optimization of the hormone dose and delivery method along with assessment of effects of GnRHa treatment on postspawning broodstock mortality, egg size, and egg viability. As in other salmonids, GnRHa treatment effectively synchronizes the onset of ovulation in brook trout and northern whitefish. This gives accurate information about ovulatory status of the broodstock and enables planning of the stripping schedule. The most convenient methods were the double acute injection at 25 ?g.kg-1 ?-Arg6,Pro9-NHEt-sGnRHa administered 3 days apart and injection of 25 ?g.kg-1 of emulsified ?-Arg6,Pro9-NHEt-sGnRHa in Freund´s incomplete adjuvant, which prolongs and more effectively stimulates LH secretion and requires only a single injection. Double acute injection at 10 ?g.kg-1 of ?-Tle6,Pro9-NHEt-mGnRHa (Supergestran) was sufficient to induce ovulation in Arctic grayling 1?1.5 months prior to natural spawning, and enabled accelerated stripping and return of wild broodstock to their natural habitat. Single acute injection proved to be ineffective or unreliable in most cases and therefore cannot be recommended. No negative effect of GnRHa or GnRHa-FIA treatments on post-spawning mortality of broodstock was observed. It has to be noted that that to the extent of law Nr. 166/1999 statute book (Czech veterinary law)injective procedures can be carried out just by the veterinarian or by a verinarian-authorized person in veterinarian presence. GnRHa treatment has side-effects and alters egg quality. Apart from in brook trout, egg survival was significantly lower (5?20%) in treated females. Increased hormone dose did not influence egg survival at the levels tested. Egg and hatchling size was lower in treated females compared to untreated specimens irrespective of dose or hormone delivery method. Reduced egg size is, however, not the likely source of reduced viability. In general, our results corroborate results of studies dealing with assessment of effects of hormone treatment on egg quality. Based on current experimental designs it is impossible to identify the cause of the side-effects with certainty. Solving this problem should be priority for future research.

Synchronizace říje plemenic skotu a její úspěšnostSUKOVÁ, Denisa January 2019 (has links)
Reproduction and milk production are considered to be the main factors influencing the whole economy of cattle breeding. We have been monitoring the worsening reproduction related to cattle breeding for a long time. The introduction of synchronization protocols into reproductive management is a posibility to improve reproduction. The aim of my work was to detect the success rate of insemination after rut synchronization on the basis of the data analysis and to evaluate reproductive indicators. The monitoring was performed from January 2017 to June 2018. There were monitored 310 breeding Holstein cows with the yield level of 10 335 kg of milk. The data were obtained from the zootechnical records and the Farmsoft Program. The breeding reproductive level was poor. Here are following values of reproductive indicators: insemination interval - 63 days, service period - 124 days, intervening time - 407 days, intersemination interval - 35 days, insemination index - 2,63 and pregnancy after the first insemination - 33,23%. That was only the insemination interval to achieve great results because breeding cows were involved into the synchronization protocol Presynch within 31 to 38 days after birth. It was detected that cows after the synchornization program Presynch got pregnant in 36,6% after the first insemination, whereas breeding cows being inseminated for the required rut became pregnant in 28% cases after the first insemination. The percentage of pregnancy in synchronizated cows after the first insemination is almost identical to the average in the Czech Republic (37,1%). Performing hormonal therapy within Presynch increased the reproductive costs in one cow by 211 Czech crowns.

Softwarový přijímač GNSS / Software GNSS receiverJedlička, Petr January 2020 (has links)
The thesis deals with the analysis and the reception of the freely available signals of the navigation satellites in the L1 and E1 bands of the GPS and Galileo systems. The described signal reception sections include the process of the acquisition, the carrier frequency and phase synchronization and tracking, the spreading code phase tracking, the signal demodulation and the channel decoding. The simulation of the entire receiver is performed in MATLAB. The deeply analyzed signal reception component is the one responsible for the carrier phase and frequency synchronization and tracking. In that case, more methods and their comparison are usually listed. The signal reception component, which is responsible for the carrier phase and frequency tracking and the spreading code phase tracking, is also implemented in FPGA.

Modulátor a demodulátor s více nosnými pro softwarově definované rádio / Multicarrier modulator and demodulator for software defined radioKlučka, Jaroslav January 2010 (has links)
This thesis deals with computer simulation of the communication chain using the OFDM modulation. In the beginning of my thesis there is a brief description of digital modulations, especially OFDM. The model of the transmitter, radio channel and receiver, including a simple timing and frequency synchronization and equalization is designed and simulated in the Matlab environment. There is a designed communication system implemented into USRP development board in the Simulink environment. The development board could not work simultaneously as a transmitter and as a receiver. Function of the transmitter was verified by measuring on spectrum analyzer. Testing OFDM signal using the arbitrary waveform generator CompuGen 4302 was generated for the verification of the function of the receiver. Testing signal was received and demodulated on the development board which works as a receiver.

Pohyb v matematice / Movement in mathematicsMuchová, Zuzana January 2012 (has links)
In my thesis I concern with the use of motoric activities in math classes. The chapters that offer a range of motoric activities were processed on the base of a questionnaire and an experiment. Some of the activities are currently being implemented in math classes by teachers of first, second and third grades at primary schools, others are part of textbooks designed for this age group. In addition to that, I offer five more possible activities, which have been recorded and interpreted within six experiments. The goal of the thesis is to demonstrate that physical movement cannot be separated from the life of six to nine years old children, and offer some motoric activities, which can potentially be contributive for development of mathematical skills and abilities.
