Archeogaming a kulturní dědictví hráčů digitálních her / Archeogaming and Cultural Heritage of Gamers

Neuheisl, Lukáš January 2019 (has links)
Progression of human civilization in fields of technology, culture and media is closely tied to the creation of remains known as a cultural heritage. These artefacts and knowledge are testimonies of human cultures of distant and recent pasts. In last two decades, a trend of creating and living in synthetic worlds has emerged with social media and vast digital games being prime examples of such synthetic worlds. To better understand human culture, a new, yet undeveloped and academically unestablished (even though suggested by texts in past 30 years) interdisciplinar field has emerged: archaogaming. Its mission is researching distant and recent past through cultural heritage in and of digital games, connecting archaeology, game and media studies, using methods and tools inspired by archaeological practice. Among such methods belongs digital ethnography and on-site research, methods used in this Master's thesis' research. Its aim was to describe artefacts used and left in game worlds by gamers of three chosen digital games: GTA Online, Fortnite Battle Royale and Soul Calibur VI. Moreover, other goals of this research were to identify factors influencing such relics and their lifespan. Analysis of data collected during 60 gaming sessions throughout the trio of synthetic worlds suggests that artefacts...

Katalytické a adsorpční vlastnosti papainu a jeho derivátů / Catalytic and adsorption properties of papain and its derivatives

Lachmanová, Štěpánka January 2012 (has links)
The aminoacid sequence of papain (EC 3.4.22.2) consists of 212 aminoacids. It has only one free sulfhydryl group, which is located in the active site of the protein. Some organometallic complexes could be bonded only to this free -SH group due to their structure. The artificial metalloproteins synthesised by this way may have different electrochemical properties. In this work, we have studied the electrochemical properties of papain and its derivatives. We compared the ability of papain and its three artificial derivatives to catalyse the hydrogen evolution by the chronopotenciometry. The work was completed by the study of the electrochemical properties of the organometallic complexes of ruthenium, which were used for the artificial metalloprotein preparation. The electrochemical properties of the compounds were never studied before. The process of the hydrogen evolution catalysed by the proteins is held in the adsorbed state of the catalyst. Due to this fact we have also studied the adsorption properties of papain on the substrates with different level of hydrofobicity. (In Czech)

Generation of Synthetic Retinal Images with High Resolution / Generation of Synthetic Retinal Images with High Resolution

Aubrecht, Tomáš January 2020 (has links)

Simulace projevu kožního onemocnění s využitím GAN / Simulation of Skin Diseases Effect Using GAN

Bak, Adam January 2021 (has links)
Tieto syntetické odtlačky boli porovnané s reálnymi odtlačkami s využitím NFIQ a FiQiVi nástrojov na určenie kvality spoločne s porovnaním rozložení lokácií a orientácii markantov v snímkoch odtlačkov prstov.

Využití a interpretace seismických povrchových vln v širokém oboru frekvencí / Application and interpretation of seismic surface waves in broad frequency range

Gaždová, Renata January 2012 (has links)
Submitted Ph.D. thesis is concerning the application and interpretation of seismic surface waves in a broad range of frequencies and scales. Using surface waves as a supplement to the methods dealing with body waves seems to be worth the effort. Surface wave interpretation can be used to obtain new information about the studied medium and simultaneously it can overcome, in some cases, the limitations of other seismic techniques. Moreover, surface waves are usually present on measured records and hence for its usage it is not necessary to modify the standard measuring procedures. One of the results of this thesis is an original algorithm for dispersive waveform calculation. The program works in an arbitrary range of frequencies and scales. The input parameter for the calculation is the dispersion curve. In this point the algorithm differs from all other approaches used so far. Algorithm is based on a summation of frequency components with shifts corresponding to the velocity dispersion and distance. The resulting waveform only contains an individual dispersive wave of the selected mode, thus being particularly suitable for testing of methodologies for dispersive wave analysis. The algorithm was implemented into the program DISECA. Furthermore, a new procedure was designed to calculate the dispersion...

Švarcová, Lucie January 2014 (has links)
Diploma thesis summarizes available information about chiral analysis of synthetic musk compounds in the aquatic environment. In the theoretical part of the thesis chirality and importance of chiral analysis by means of examples of different environmental pollutants is documented. Further consideration is aimed on musk compounds, their classification, characteristics and their fate in the environment, especially in the aquatic environment. After that methods for chiral analysis of synthetic musk compounds are reviewed. The aim of the experimental part of this diploma thesis was to carry out the determination of thirteen representatives of musk compounds (2-cyclohexylethanol, allylcyklohexylpropionate, Arocet, Aroflorone, Citronellol, Fresco Menthe, Galaxolide, hexyl cinnamic aldehyde, HSA, isoamylsalicylate, isobornylacetate, Lilial and Linalool), out of which some compounds are chiral and some are achiral. For the analysis samples of wastewater from the wastewater treatment plant Brno - Modřice were taken. Target compounds were isolated by solid phase microextraction (SPME) and were subsequently analyzed by gas chromatography with flame ionization and mass spectrometric detection. On the basis of data evaluation the removal efficiency forgiven musk compounds in the wastewater treatment plant was assessed.
